Spacious 3 Bedroom Cottage in Galloway, Scotland

JoRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Wow what a fantastic holiday we had. The location is breathtaking and the house is comfortable and cosy with a fabulous fully enclosed garden which our dog enjoyed . If you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track but with home comforts this is the place for you . If you have an electric car there is a 7v charger about 1 min walk away behind the « Old Smidy » great for an overnight charge and very reasonably priced (free to use with a suggested donation) we also find lots of Fast Chargers out and about on days out - the area is really well served . Highlights for us were the Deer Safari, the boat trip at the Loch Ken visitors centre , the red kite feeding centre and the horse riding lessons - of course there was also in lots of picnics by the rivers and locks a night at the theatre in the Catstrand centre plenty of meals out .

Abbotsway Cottage on peaceful estate by the sea

AnnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a beautiful house but what really stood out was the amazing contact with wildlife in our back garden by the it’s feeder - red squirrels pheasant deer partridge owls and resident hares! Beautiful walks to the sea from the house. Loved staying here and really enjoyed the area

Luxury Lakeside Lodge with H/Tub & Beautiful Views

BarbaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lodge was as described and clean on arrival. We had plenty of room for our family of 5 and large dog. The Restaurant on site was very dog friendly and food was really nice. The view from the decking and while relaxing in the hot tub was amazing and even though you could hear the shooting in the distance it didn't really affect us or bother the dog. Only negative really was the bath towels are on the small side for adults.

Bassenthwaite Lake Old Smoke House

AgnivaRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Annabel is a great person and very helpful. She suggested few places to visit, which comes out worthy to visit. She is very responsive with all of our questions. I definitely want to visit this place again soon. It’s a perfect getaway from crowds and spend some time with nature without any disturbances.

KristyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What can I say? Booking was very easy. Kyle was very helpful and communicative. The house was easy to find and a perfect distance away from the location of our family wedding. Everything that you need is within walking distance. Entering and exiting was really easy and the house had everything that we needed as a family of 5 consisting of 4 adults and one child. Thank you so much

Fabulous Coastal Paths & Woodland Walks

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely peaceful stay in beautiful grounds. Lots of walks on the private grounds including walk to their private beach. Very tranquil and special place. We did a few day trips including Ayr PortPatrick some local areas for nice restaurants. My son loves football and we went to see local town Stranraer play on his birthday and they won. We saw lots of deer and nature everywhere. Children loved the zip wire and there was a games room which we didn’t manage to get to. Kate and Angus couldn’t have been more helpful, lots of great recommendations and wonderful welcome hamper which was delicious and appreciated. Beautiful place and private grounds bigger than expected. We were sad to leave and miss the lovely scenery. Thanks so much for a memorable trip.

Amazing place. Adored the inside, both because of how beautiful it is but also how well kitchen and bathrooms are equipped. Back yard is stunning! We loved spending hours there getting acquainted with the cows :) Could not recommend it more!

Bakers Cott, Gt Broughton, Cockermouth, CA13 0YL

SimonRating, 5 stars14 months ago
A great place to stay at a reasonable price just outside of the main tourist area of the Lake District but close enough to drive to walks and lakes. House very nice and comfortable situated in a small village with the nice town of Cockermouth a few miles away for restaurants, supermarket etc. Would happily return.

The Miller's House at Lochpatrick Mill

LyndsayRating, 5 stars9 months ago
What a beautiful home from a home. it was incredibly peaceful with lovely gardens looking out across fields. The home was so well equipped and, for our three generations of keen cooks staying there, it was perfect. Adam was incredibly helpful. responsive and proactive doing all he could to make our stay a good one. Meanwhile, Paula gave us great support on the ground with help and advice over linen, heating and all the other creature comforts. A wonderful home in a beautiful location: we hope to return.

Nith Barn at Marthrown of Mabie

MartinRating, 5 stars18 months ago
Came here with a small group to do some mountain biking in the area, was brilliant to be in the middle of the forest so we could ride (or walk) from the door. The large log burner and provided wood was invaluable to dry all of our kit each day, and kept us very toasty. Friendly hosts, was great to chat :) Hope to stay again sometime!

Heritage Luxury: Coachman Lodge on Seaside Estate

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an incredible stay at Dunskey - it is definitely worth the effort!! Our cottage was perfect. Equipped with everything we needed, decorated beautifully and comfortable. The estate itself is wonderful with beaches, lochs, waterfalls, a maze and plenty of walks so we barely left. We enjoyed a fishing lesson with Steven the head groundsman, he was knowledgeable, friendly and we throughly enjoyed it, even though we unsuccessfully at getting a catch. Port Patrick is lovely with a nice beach, pubs and a local village store. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back again!!!
