Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Dundas, Millgrove

I cannot say enough positive and glowing comments about the host, Sian and of her beautiful home in Hamilton. I have rented many homes over the years and can't say I have enjoyed another rental as much. I was visiting from Calgary, Alberta, and a friend of over 50 years joined me from Michigan for a 'catch up' visit. The house itself was spotlessly clean and decorated with impeccable taste. I loved every detail. The setting where the house stood was a delight---surrounding gardens and flowers a rainbow of colours. Even though her own home was steps away we had complete privacy. With communication, restaurants recommendations, etc, Sian was very helpful and quick to respond. The beds were comfy, the bathroom linens were plentiful and absorbent. Cooking was made easy with a well stocked kitchen. it was a warm week in Ontario and the AC was fantastic. The washer and dryer were an extra bonus. I came away feeling I had made a new friend in Sian. All I have left to say is Thank you!

Nathan’s place is a classic character brick Hamilton home, tastefully renovated. It’s on a quiet street and all the homes look well cared for. Driveway parking was very useful as the street was often full. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. Kitchen is updated and well equipped. Easy to enjoy our meals (and the bacon and eggs Nathan thoughtfully provided). We were very comfortable and will definitely stay again when we come back to visit family in Hamilton.

We couldn't have been happier. The Cabin is the perfect getaway in Elora! The location couldn't be better and you have a sense of seclusion despite being steps from the shops and restaurants. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the front porch. The bed is super comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! Andrew is a gracious host.

Stopped into Hamilton for a few days to see friends, and this was the perfect home base. Clean and inviting, great location, friendly hosts. It was a great space for our family with two young kids, and we particularly appreciated some of the kid-friendly touches Philip included — high chair, toddler bed, and even guards on the table corners. That said, it’d be a lovely space to relax in without kids as well. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

We had a great stay at this charming house! The neighborhood looks beautiful with mature trees and a private backyard. We enjoyed the hot tub and had a few days to kick back and relax. It felt like we all had enough space to spread out in the house with 3 bathrooms and bedrooms. Wonderful location!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was nicely decorated with a lot of attention to detail, which made it feel comfortable and pleasant. The host was friendly and considerate, and everything went smoothly throughout the stay. Would be happy to stay here again.

Everything was nice and clean. Good lighting and comfortable bed. Was a nice TV that had netflix and location was perfect for where we were staying.

Clean and cozey place, perfect for getting to local restaurants and wineries nearby! Would recommend and would stay again!

Excellent 2 week staff, apartment very well set up with all the kitchen items you could possibly need. Very generous amounts of tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc but also lovely touch of popcorn and the help yourself draw. very clean and a short walk to the park, convenience store, Cafe and bakery. Will definitely stay again when visiting Guelph

The Suite was as described. Easy to get into and right downtown so can easily walk to restaurants and shops. The apartment was very clean. Beds were comfortable. The one spot for parking is across the street. We were lucky and found another parking spot at the end of the street near the entrance to the trails. Otherwise parking is hard to find as I heard from numerous other visitors. Would definitely stay here again!

My kids and I have stayed here a few times and each and every time we stay it's an amazing experience. Friendly and proactive host who is always gracious. 10 out of 10

Gail’s apartment is a wonderful surprise. You climb the stairs to find a big, open, airy apartment that is so cozy and welcoming. The main living area has massive ceilings and is so pleasant to hang in, it’s sometimes hard to leave.

Absolutely beautiful! My favourite part was the enclosed porch with the river view, so peaceful. Erin communicated very well through the check-in process and the added details of local attractions and restaurants was very appreciated. To top it off the place was spotless and still felt like home away from home. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay here. The location is incredible with a gorgeous lake view and amazing sunset view. Indoors it was spacious and very nicely decorated. We particularly appreciated that the airbnb was stocked with everything from kitchen supplies, washroom, even BBQ supplies - we didn’t need to bring a thing. Very well thought out. Gary was an excellent host, very responsive and attended to any question right away. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

This was our second time staying here, and it was even better than the first! The host is extremely responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure you're comfortable. The place was squeaky clean, and the kids had so much fun. The pools are warm and make you feel like you've been transported to a luxurious resort far away. It's so peaceful, and I still can't believe how close it is to home — truly a mini oasis!

⸻ We stayed at the Alvento Winery house for two nights as our daughter was getting married at a venue just five minutes away. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was the perfect choice. The house itself is spectacular—spacious, beautifully maintained, and set in a quiet, private location with stunning views of the vineyard. It was ideal for the bride and her bridal party to relax after the rehearsal and prepare for the big day. The master suite was perfect for the bride, giving her a peaceful and private space to rest and get ready. Even our wedding photographer was thrilled with the setting—she captured some truly beautiful shots both inside and around the property. A huge thank you to Danny for being such a great host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful throughout. This stay was everything we hoped for and more!

Had a splendid time bonding with my family and kids, it was so much fun for us: the swimming pool, hot tub, grills, karaoke, darts and so much more made our stay very exciting. Adam and Carolyn were easy to contact and their response was prompt, many thanks for the popcorns and floaters...the kids loved it It was more than our expectation amd we're looking forward to coming back again next summer. My family and I had a great stay at Betsy's. There was lots of space for everyone to sleep, play and hang out. The pool and backyard was fantastic for the kids. Kitchen had everything we needed for dishes, pots, pans, knives etc. The location was great. A nice park across the street and we were able to walk downtown. We would definitely stay at Betsy's place again.

We had a wonderful stay at Andy's place! He is super friendly and helpful. The self check in process was smooth. He gave us some farm eggs and veggies as gift, and showed us around the farm, which felt extremely welcoming. The rooms, kitchen, bathrooms were very clean and well decorated. It was also equipped with everything we needed such as baby chair, BBQ, all kitchen utilities, etc. The location is super convenient, there are a lot of fun places to visit. Andy sent us a list of places that worth visiting. We couldn't visit all of them within a day but all the places we went gave us memorable experience. We highly recommend Andy's place and will definitely come back for a vacation around the Niagara area.
