Best Airbnb stay we have had ! Catherine/Kevin were great at communicating all about the check in and they were super flexible. When we arrived they had a care package for us with cookies and wine and a frozen pizza and a bundle of turf The hot tub was as a great addition. 3 minute walk to the local pub with trad music and great food ! This place is a true gem - we are definitely going to come back !

Stunning cottage, very clean and tidy with a bonus of the hot tub which was easy enough to set up . Located in such a peaceful area with an easy and quick to drive into town.

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful scenery and so private and peaceful. Excellent location for visiting the cliffs and beaches. The local pub offers great food and wonderful atmosphere. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. Patrick was a very responsive host and easy to deal with.

The house and host couldn’t be any better ! Our second stay at the property and we will be back again for sure !

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind, with nature right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a real home away from home. Our host Mairead was fantastic— She made sure we had everything we needed and had the turf fire lit on our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Donegal!

What a wonderful, comfortable, warm and clean house with a beautiful view. It was so tranquil and peaceful looking out at the amazing view. House is very tastefully decorated with everything there that is needed. The hot tub is a brilliant addition, loved it. Laura is a wonderful host and we would highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay! Moya & Gavin were lovely hosts—warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. The house is absolutely stunning with an incredible view. Inside, it’s cozy and beautifully done, with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it feel just like home. We’re definitely planning to come back soon!

Booked a night away for my girlfriends birthday but also I had planned a surprise proposal to her. the cottage had a beautifully decorated outdoor space which was perfect for the proposal. had the most amazing time there, the location was quiet and peaceful, the cottage was beautifully decorated and perfectly finished with all the basic amenities. couldn't recommend this place enough. being pet friendly was also a great feature as we were able to bring our dog for some lovely walks round the local area. Shaun was a perfect host and was very welcoming and helpful upon arrival. 10/10 would definitely be back

Das Cottage und das Grundstück sind sehr gepflegt und wir hatten wundervolle 4 Tage. Zur Begrüßung stand eine Flasche Wein, Wasserflaschen, ein Kuchen und frische Blumen in der Küche. Das ist sehr aufmerksam gewesen und keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Der County Donegal ist sehr schön und wir haben tolle Ausflüge unternommen. Vielen Dank für alles.

Just lovely wee place.. the fully fenced garden was brilliant for my dog, the garden is huge, the cottage was very cosy, very warm, bed comfortable, shower great. Noreen was a great communicative host and even supplied a ball for my dog!! Would not hesitate to recommend area, property and host... we had bad weather one day, a perfect excuse to just curl up and and indulge In the fabulous home, heat and a book!! Everything was as described, perfectly clean and everything you could want for a short or long stay!!

Mary was great , gave us so great suggestions for eating and lovely walks with a difficulty rating which was good for me as I have a few problems with a knee problem . Lovely lady very welcoming we will definitley go back to one for Marys propertys .

WE HAVE STAYED AT ROSE MARIE'S COTTAGE A NUMBER OF TIMES OVER THE PAST VIEW YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS HAD A GREAT STAY.

A beautiful peaceful cottage with a proper homely feel. Great location and good garden where it was safe for my dog to explore. Really helpful directions to the property and lots of great recommendations from Sinead. Would definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay in Rosapenna. We were very lucky, the weather was excellent and we enjoyed our golfing days. We will definitely be back to stay in your house. The view from your house was good for the soul every morning.

Beautiful part of the world and lots to do if you are into the outdoors. House in a quiet area away from main spots with a lovely view of Muckish and her sister mountains. Falcarragh is however very close by if provisions needed. We enjoyed

The house was very nice, very comfortable. We had fantastic sunny weather. The view from the front windows was amazing!!

The location is excellent, within walking distance to 2 pubs, the Caislean Oir Hotel (good food), Dannie Minnie's (outstanding food), a couple of takeaways (Pizza at Top Pizza is excellent) and a handy grocery store. It is an excellent base to explore Donegal, within plenty of beaches, tourist spots and scenic drives nearby. The cottage itself is well equipped, with a modern new kitchen, washing machine, air fryer, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, pots and pans, glasses etc. The homemade scones, milk, butter and jam was a very welcome treat! Central heating was responsive and hot. TV with Netflix app was great for chilling out in the evenings. The living room sofa is very comfortable. 3 double bedrooms with clean, fresh linens and a generous amount of towels and plenty of wardrobe space. The hairdryer was also a convenient bonus. Off street, private parking. The cottage was set back from the road which meant it was safe and quiet. We would most certainly return :)

What a beautiful home in idyllic setting of Downings peninsula. Felt right at home from the second I arrived with beautiful open fire ideal for winter evenings, very relaxed setting and beautiful surroundings but still close enough to all the local amenities like golf at Rosapenna, local restaurants in Downings & Carrigart, The Boardwalk and amazing beach at Tra Mor & Murder Hole Cove. Tara was an excellent host, was responsive to all pre visit enquiries and was. flexible around my travel arrangement’s. Look forward to many more visits in the future.

The house was cosy, had all that you could need and is as close to “centrally located” in Fanad as is possible - short distance to some great sights, right beside public transport etc. I was travelling for work and Ciaran went out of his way to be accommodating for this.
