Cabin holiday rentals in Dungog Shire Council

Was attracted to this cabin by the hammocks and the forrest all around the deck. We felt very welcomed walking into the cabin and seeing 2 chocolate brownies and an easter chocolate. The deck was very peaceful during the daytime with plenty of birds and wallabies. Enjpyed the fire in the evenings too. Very relaxing stay all up and felt very grounded. Would love to come back and stay.

Such a beautiful place to stay with our young family. A perfect set up with a fire pit and swimming at the creek down the road. we loved exploring the labyrinths and enjoying the peace and quiet. Thank you so much for having us!

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

Lovely spot to relax and unplug. The cabin is near a few others but feels very private and secluded. The natural surroundings are gorgeous and we had everything we needed. Amanda was a friendly and responsive host.

Bernadette’s place is definitely worth a visit. I had browsed dozens of locations searching for the ideal, private and beautiful location and this was it. Bernadette was very responsive initially and made booking a breeze with flexibility for check in/out time to suit my circumstances. The location is extremely private, with a hot tub that makes the property so worthwhile. Perfect for a romantic weekend with the missus or a family looking to unwind and spend some quality time with one another.

Amazing place!!! The cabine is exactly as described and matches the photos, even the parrot came to see us! Very peaceful place, nice and worm, clean just perfect. Debbie’s is very reactive and answers super quickly, her instructions to get there are very good too! I would only add some maps (physical map of the surrounding treks and stuff) since there’s no wifi and getting maps is hard, but that’s it!

We were looking for a place to stay where we’d have no contact with any people and we found it. This was as close to camping as I’d ever be comfortable getting. Could be in nature then hide inside from the bugs when we’d had our fill. We relaxed in a beautiful space with nothing but the sound of nature around us (including a lyrebird mimicking the sound of a baby crying). The space had almost everything we needed, we were able to cook what we wanted, sleep in a comfy bed, have a soothing shower and listen to some cassette tape tunes. The only thing we would have loved was some better cooling options. The fan was small and the cabin was hot the majority of the time we were there. I’m not asking for aircon as I know this would be impractical but a better fan would have been welcomed. The stream that was promised nearby was dry but I guess that comes with the time of year. Other than that we had a beautiful time away and will likely book with Unyoked again. We feel rested and refreshed.

This was a perfect place for a quick getaway! The online guide is very helpful!! The only down side to this stay was the leeches! They are very bad so cover up and wear bug spray! You will for sure get a few on you even when hanging out by the fire. Also, they mention the “spice level” being spicy which is true! The walk to the cabin is a little strenuous so pack light! Overall the space was clean and inviting! Would love to visit other cabins!

Overall our stay was amazing! It was exactly what we were hoping for and it was well worth it. We came back after 3 nights with a lots of peace of mind because our stay was just awesome! It was a bit hard to find, so make sure you watch for the unyoked sign carefully.

A lovely little spot perfect for a getaway and reset

Thank you Eloise and Troy for having us and our two dogs over the Christmas break. Lovely property with everything we needed, a spacious yard for the pups, and Eloise was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and be amongst nature for a few days :)

Good spot

That was one of the most beautiful locations my family and I have ever stayed! The cabin located right on the river was magical. I almost didn’t want to tell people where we stayed when I shared our videos on social media so that it was our family secret getaway lol but we will definitely be back soon!

The perfect getaway for my family! Myself, hubby and 2 kids (7 and 9) had such a lovely time. Very peaceful, surrounded by nature. The walk to the river was beautiful and breathtaking. There was so much to do whether it be playing tennis, exploring the grounds, or chilling at the cabin with a board game. Would highly recommend

First thing you notice as you pull up to the cabin is the stunning view off the mountain. The cabin is tucked into the bush making it a private and discreet little getaway. We watched the sunset daily from the spa which was amazing. The cabin itself was a very nice touch also, well maintained and presented with everything you need to make a special relaxing getaway. From playing tennis, going for a bush walk or relaxing by the fire, Inala was the perfect getaway and a place we would feel privileged to visit again in the future.

Wow if you want beautiful, spectacular and peaceful then this is the place. It's amazing and the views are better than the photos. My husband and I loved it so much we didn't want to leave. The interaction with the native wildlife was wonderful. The lodge is very clean and accomodating and has everything that you would need. Susanne and Dave were great hosts and always providing responses really quickly. I can't wait to go back and enjoy a little piece of heaven again.

We had a beautiful and tranquil weekend here. It was absolutely stunning. Of course the highlight were the gorgeous animals who so friendly and approachable and made the trip feel magical. Loved the spa inside the cabin. Bed was really comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Simon's place is a small cabin located out of town. It has views across farmland. It is cosy and ideal for an overnight stay or as a home base if you have commitments in the area. It is comfortable and private with a nice rustic feel.

We had the most incredible weekend stay at Cathy and Manny’s place! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the peaceful atmosphere. The fire pits and indoor fireplace were already set up, making it so easy to just relax and enjoy our evenings. The house was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed – including quality wine glasses and even an automatic ice maker (such a nice touch!). You can really tell a lot of care has gone into making the place feel special and comfortable. One of the highlights for us was definitely the wildlife! We had friendly visits from kangaroos (who we got to feed thanks to the kangaroo food Cathy and Manny provided), as well as goannas, kookaburras, and wallabies. It felt like a dream – truly magical. We already miss it and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Cathy and Manny for creating such a wonderful getaway!
