Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

We arrived around 5pm and found the key in the lockbox. Sandy was very responsive to our needs. There was a problem with one of the air conditioners and she sent a technician out to remedy the problem. The solar panels, inverter and battery were a real bonus as there were a couple of unexpected power outages and we were not affected by them. The house is spacious with beautiful sea views from most of the bedrooms and living areas. It is well decorated and makes for good and comfortable living with more than enough kitchen utensils to cater for our full house of eight people and three dogs. Sipho worked during the week keeping the garden and pool area clean, including cleaning the braai. We used him inside a couple of times to clean at an additional cost paid directly to him. He even washed our cars without being asked to do so. When the deck overlooking the ocean became a bit windy, we used the well protected pool and covered braai area. The pool table and dart board added to the fun

The house has amazing ocean views and the sound of the waves was a beautiful background to our stay. A few steps from the beach, we had a wonderful time.

A very nice roomy BnB close to the village and within walking distance to Stokers Bar.

We had a relaxing and very comfortable stay in the Emerald Suite. The place is lovely, neat, clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped and there is more than enough space for a family of four adults and a fur baby. The estate is beautiful and the views were fantastic. Lots of walking and access to beaches was easy. Very well situated, away for all the hustle and bustle of the towns. The hosts Lucy and her husband, JP, were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. They were very thoughtful and made sure everything was just right with our stay. The Emerald Suite is a definite must for a great and pleasant getaway.

The location was good, the house was jolly good, Essy was mega helpful, the facilities were fine, the grounds were delightful, the cottage next to the house was a pleasure, the gates worked well, and it was a decent place to stay. I thought it was useful value for the money. Before you arrive though you need to find a contact WhatsUp number because Roger was in Canada and the intercom at the gate didn't function. But that was a small thing. I'd be happy to go back again.

5/5 Stars! We had an absolute blast staying at Stephen’s incredible property! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cleanliness and neatness of the space. But the real showstopper was the fabulous garden and pool area - it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! Checking in and out was a breeze, and Stephen was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Plus, the location was unbeatable - we were just a stone's throw away from all the action! Thanks again, Stephen, for being such an amazing host! We can't wait to come back and stay again soon!

Loved this place , the host is so heads on with communication , helpful instructions on how to check in and everything else ! Definitely loved it ! Would recommend to everyone and it looks everything like the pictures!

One of my best stays

Jannes place is was perfect for myself and my 4 legged companion. We both felt right at home immediately and Janne was quite quick with responses with the very minor questions I had. Jannes place is definitely something to book if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, well kept space. Definitely keeping this listing on a short list for future Durban visits. Beautiful place to stay in and great service

What a clean and comfortable stay I had in this very special Cottage! It was immaculate, and was equipped with everything I would need for a comfortable stay. The decor was charming, and the ambiance…so very ‘good for the soul’. Marné was a perfect host with a real gift of conveying info in a timely, clear, and creative way. Thank you Marné, for a memorable stay - I will definitely be returning! A very special place, with a very special host… 💙

Great place to stay. Walking distance from shops, restaurants and promenade. Getting into and out the loft bedroom is a little tricky with the low ceilings. Also standing in the loft you gotta hunch down to avoid the ceilings. The loft gets a bit warm, the provided air coolers and fans keeps the place cool. The bed is very comfortable and lots of storage space. The place has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. And little private garden. I had a great stay there. Well done !
