Cabin holiday rentals in Durham

We went for a quick weekend getaway with our two dogs and absolutely loved William and Liz’s home, we didn’t want to leave!! I loved the privacy, how peaceful it was, and of course the views! Our dogs enjoyed all the free space to run as well. We unfortunately had a lot of rain when we stayed, causing our tour of howes cavern to be canceled due to flash flooding. We were rescheduled which affected our check out time, but they were so sweet and offered us to check out whenever we liked and even offered us an extra night to stay! (We wish we could have). It was a wonderful weekend getaway and we all can’t wait to go back! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Margot’s place in the beautiful Catskill Mountain area of Hunter, NY. The house was spotless, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend with the family. We truly loved the serene surroundings and the comfort of the home—it felt like the perfect getaway. Margot was a great host, and we’d definitely book again without hesitation!

The A-Frame on Pudding Hill was everything we were looking for — cozy, private, and super romantic. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a little tricky to turn on at first haha, but once it was going, it was perfect. Thank you, Lenny, for being such a thoughtful host. We felt truly cared for, and we’d love to return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy getaway!

We had the most amazing time at Ed's cabin! Our group was looking for a peaceful getaway, and this place delivered. Nestled in the woods with a beautiful view, the cabin was the perfect escape. It had everything we needed: firewood and supplies for a cozy fire, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, hot tub, and more. The outdoor space was just as impressive, with a huge garden and plenty to explore. Ed was an excellent host—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I’d highly recommend this cabin, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time on the property. That said, it's still close enough to the Catskills' main hiking spots. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

Would absolutely stay again! Really loved the way they've updated the space but kept the classic touches of the house. Huge well appointed kitchen with everything you could need. Peaceful outdoor space with lots of privacy. And overall a very spacious house that feels like you could have a big group without getting in each others way. Ryan & Lauren were super on it. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I know the area super well so have a good perspective on location and quality of available accommodation etc. Mark and Lori’s place was standout on all dimensions. Close to both Woodstock and Saugerties which is great for dining and social options. Location is safe, pretty, peaceful and convenient. The house itself is immaculate and charming with a lot of nice character touches. It’s well appointed, and even if you choose to dine in, they have supplied all that one could need. A special place and if I need accommodation again I would book in a heartbeat.

Such a cute spot! We only spent one night but could have spent many more. The home itself is adorable and had lots of thoughtful touches. The beds were super comfy! They had some board games we ended up playing late into the night. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay at Natasha’s home! The trees surrounding the house are so majestic and the space is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. We got great sleep, as the beds were super comfy, and we can’t wait to come back again soon.

Yannick's place was a fantastic place to stay in the Catskills! It's located in an ideal location close to hiking, breweries, restaurants, etc. The house itself is clean and well decorated and they provide pretty much everything you need. My only gripe would be that there is no microwave (however, this is noted in the listing, so it was not a surprise); while I don't mind heating things up the old school way on a stove, there are certain things that just heat better in a microwave. And if a microwave is not provided, at least have some better nonstick pans (they were a bit of a pain bc everything stuck to them). In addition, it was hard to actually get to the stream (I think things were just overgrown and maybe it needs a trim back). But the beds are SO comfortable and overall the property is very serene, especially driving over the little bridge to the house with the stream. I would definitly recommend the place to anyone. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

We had a delightful time during our annual Memorial Day Catskills trip. Katie's cabin is beautifully decorated. You can tell it's the home of a photographer - every corner is picture perfect. The color scheme and charm of the cabin is gorgeous, and the skylights illuminated the space so nicely in the mornings and throughout the day. Wet weather kept us from spending too much time in the outdoor living spaces, but the indoor space was so lovely, we didn't mind staying in at all. Katie was an accommodating host and checkout was a breeze. Thank you, Katie, and to everyone else - enjoy your stay at one of the most charming places you'll find for your Catskills getaway!

Our second time staying at Maitopia with our cat, just as wonderful in a different warmer season. Tina was super responsive as usual and even accommodated a late checkout. We enjoyed feasting in the kitchen as well as grilling in the yard, floating around in the pool when it was warm enough out, "hiking" with our cat on a leash around the forest on the property, taking baths, streaming music. We didn't leave the property much, but it was a fun highlight to get a few local produce items at nearby Greig farm and meet the adorable goats. One tip- bring an eyemask if you're sensitive to light in the mornings- there aren't any window shades in the bedroom.

Loved it! The cabin is perfect. And quiet and nestled in the woods. Great for dogs too. And there’s a wonderful hike up Mt Gaurdian right at the theatre. A nice retreat from the city right in the heart of Woodstock

Wonderful place to stay in Hunter! Loved the view from this super comfortable and spacious (for one or a couple) modern cabin. The hosts have great taste in design and were very responsive and friendly when I needed help with something. Great WiFi, great kitchen and bath and comfortable bed. There’s a lovely view of the mountains through a large window but it’s so cleverly designed that you never feel a lack of privacy. I highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful chalet overlooking the mountains. Very private, off the road so you won’t hear the road noise. You see a few houses in the distance, but pretty far to consider it a fully private location. The house matches the description, Constance is very responsive in communication. Water is hot, kitchen is small but well equipped for any cooking you want. Great trails nearby, only 3-4 miles drive to Escarpment trail. Few breweries and good restaurants within 10-20 minutes drive. Wonderful getaway place!

Overall, Melissa’s property is absolutely beautiful. Me and my partner felt right at home. The sheets were clean, house is well kept and Melissa is great at responding. Would definitely come here again and recommend it to anyone!

I absolutely had a lovely time at Pat & Kelley's bnb. It was situated right by the river stream and the deck at the back leads upto the stream with the sound of running water and birds greeting you at all times. I planned my proposal to my partner at that spot as well and Hannah, Pat and Kelly were instrumental in making it a success. I will always hold a special place in my heart for this stay. My Family and I had the best weekend getaway at Joey's place. The cabin was very nice and Great yard. We had everything we needed plus things we didn't realize we needed. Very well stocked cabin. Luckily there was a very nice First aid kit. I cut myself and we had everything we needed. The place is very peaceful hardly any cars at all went by and none at night. Stars were perfect. The view of the wildflower field and all the deer made it magical.

We had a lovely stay at Eman's home! A beautiful peaceful Catskills retreat surrounded by nature. The home was better than the photos! Eman made us feel right at home and was so helpful. Great hospitality, she left some snacks and the kitchen was very clean and fully equipped. One of the nicest Airbnb's I have stayed in. Felt like the way it used to be back when Airbnb first started and people welcomed you as a guest, not the way it has evolved into just a business. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

The house was lovely - clean, bright, beautiful views. Everything was as described - and the beds were super comfortable too! Due to unseasonably chilly weather, didn't get to make use of the hot tub. Perhaps another time! Great place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fil & Ellie’s place, it made it the highlight of our trip. From the minute we walked in, it felt so calm. The place is beautiful with all the amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, fireplace. We’ve been to the Catskills countless times and this is the best experience due to the wonderful stay. Thank you!
