The stay was incredible. From the surroundings to the decor, the pictures don't do it justice. And the food was amazing. I could not recommend it any higher

Chege is a nice host, he responded to our calls, and gave us accurate directions. The waiters are friendly, especially the busy guy who serves customers at the tent area next to the lake. We found the food a bit more expensive to us. Kindly make your packages more friendly to those who may prefer to make their own meals. I can recommend the place to any nature loving person, looking for serenity and ready to connect to themselves. Will be coming back soon.

Amazing Safari lodge. The staff very friendly and helpful and th game drives were amazing. Our guide was knowledgable and made sure we could see all of the animals that they could find. The food was great although expensive and a set price. My only complaint is that we were not told in advance that the lodge only accepts cash or M-Pesa for charges outside of payment for the room which was an inconvenience since we did not have enough cash and could not access M-Pesa

Amazing place to stay with friends. The garden is huge! You are surrounded by nature, with access to the Nile. You can easily go for a swim, kayaking or a walk along the Nile. The staff were very warm and helped us to organise bodas. The place supports community projects which is definitely a plus when booking! I definitely recommend the place!

We loved being here! The tent was nice and comfortable for two. The kitchen and common area is big and very pleasant. But more importantly we had Hippos, elephants, crocodile (in the river), birds, frogs…and two cats basically living with us 😄

We always love coming to Umufe, it is so beautiful and peaceful. A special place for our family, we keep on coming back!

I had a great weekend at Mobicasa, it was easy to get there, the host was very welcoming, it was peaceful and serene, perfect getaway for a short time!

We LOVED our weekend at Jen’s place. Very easy to find, in a good location, with a kitchen to make our own meals or Pedro, the overseer, to help cook (you can even order food in advance, like fresh seafood). It was the perfect weekend away for us, and we especially loved the swing and the hammock. We’ll definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at Hornbill Camp! The property is absolutely beautiful and the "cottage" was honestly way bigger and more beautiful than we expected. It is tastefully decorated with gorgeous high ceilings! We enjoyed exploring the area with a nice walking path behind the property. The host/care taker was super responsive and helpful and made us a lovely campfire on the beach. We would love to be back for another stay!

I recommend this accommodation for those who want to stay in a green place, connected to nature and in simplicity. The host is very responsive and welcoming. We had a great refreshing time. Nearby you have the river to rest and beautiful hikes for young and old. The garden is beautiful, the accommodation is well-equipped. Calm and serenity reign.

Our little family have an awesome time . We stayed for two nights and it was lovely. From the booking to the communication everything was excellent. This family owned place is well managed , run with kindness and grace. We operated the boiler Donkie for the first time and had warm water for showering. It is clean and well taken care off. Great Wi-Fi and all cooking tools were provided. We went for morning walks with the kids and had amazing time. They have a cactus tree a beautiful and rare find. If you looking for a great Glamping experience with the family away from the big city- 2 hours away from Johannesburg. I highly recommend it. We will be coming back soon. Stéphane is very friendly and attentive. this zen place, beautiful discovery. Very clean and well-equipped. We slept well in the small caravan, very comfortable bed. I recommend this place to enjoy the south of Mayotte.

Probably the best stay I have had on airbnb. Absolutely lovely venue with incredible hosts. The views are breath taking and the game on the farm are plentiful. Cheerful and helpful host who is extremely knowledgeable when asking questions on the game drives. If you want some time to get away with a few friends or family, this is surely a top choice. A great 'bush' vibe and tranquil. Thanks for hosting us!

Inca (the name of the place) is an amazing place that I can recommend to everybody. The Clamping tent is very luxurious with a comfortable bed and an indoor and outdoor shower! The living room area is great for relaxing and is ver well equipped with kitchen, fireplace, multiple comfortable seating options and a beautiful view over the lake. Last but not least the hosting family is very friendly and helpful.

The place is provably the best you can get in Zvishavane. Great service

The Caravan at Kiva Moya is a wonderful place to stay that gave me a real chance to recharge. The set up is basic, but very comfortable and fun, and everything you need is there in ample supply. Cláudia is an incredibly generous host, and the property is magical and wild. It's a great bush getaway close to the city. My experience was also really private, which was lovely.

Titus was a wonderful host and so helpful. We had a flat tire on the way from Oloitokitok to lake chala (the road is very rough, you definitely need a 4x4 and even than it is very dangerous). He came immediately to help us out and take us to the nearest tire shop. We would highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay! The tent was in perfect condition and spacious. The bathroom and shower that was available for us to use was clean and well kept. The view was beautiful especially in the morning and evening when it was high tide. There are plenty of tables, chairs, and lounge chairs to relax in. There were numerous outlets available to charge devices. There aren’t any shops very close so I would recommend bringing water / snacks to have with you. The breakfast that was included was yummy and filling! There is a small outdoor fridge and an outdoor kitchen if you’re looking to make your own food. Sissy, her husband, and their daughter were the perfect hosts - kind, welcoming, and lovely to chat with. We hope we cross paths with them again! :)

Simon’s Camp (Bonham) was one of the highlights of our 3 week trip to Kenya. Myself & my husband were the only guests there and were made to feel so comfortable by Kevin, Albanus & Kelvin. Each one of these men went above and beyond their duty to look after us. Nothing was too much bother. I believe Kevin when he told us that he’s only happy if we as his clients are happy. Albanus is the official chef but he stood aside to let Kelvin cook. We weren’t sure what food to take with us but Kelvin concocted the most delicious amazing meals from the basic ingredients we provided. At Simon’s camp you’ll get an experience that you’ll never forget. The luxury from the mess tent to the accommodation tents speaks volumes. The planning and thought that must have gone into this business really stands out. I really wish we’d had longer here! We will definitely be returning at some stage! Thank you to you all Jack (sorry we didn’t meet you) Kevin, Albanus and last but not least Kelvin.
