Great stay in the bush! Perfect setting with several fine touches left by Louise. We had a late booking and she was amazing at assisting us on short notice. The house is very well kept and it was a great place to stay for a few days. Will definitely recommend when visiting Marloth park

A quiet and stylish space in a good location with nice thoughtful touches, such as providing freash lavender flowers in a vase. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are in Harare for business or travel.

What an amazing place to stay! We had the most wonderful time watching game walking right past our porch while the children swam in the pool. We even saw buffalo and hippos from the pool that were grazing across from the house on the river bank. The hosts were so kind and helpful. They communicated well and made us feel right at home. We really hope to return again one day.

Listing as described, clean and very well equipped. 5 min drive to the beautiful beach of La Grande Anse. Very well located apartment allowing access to different sites of visit (Cilaos: hike of the chapel, Fouquet basin, Red Bras waterfall, Piton de la Fournaise, Routes des laves, Cap Jaune, Cascade Langevin, Musée du Volcan and Musée de la Saga du Rum...) Good communication with the owner who gave us all the information we needed for our arrival. We recommend this place which can be a good place to stay to visit a good part of the island.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We are in the process of moving with 2 dogs which in itself was very stressful, but the staff were very good with them and very accommodating. It is a free roaming area so dog owners should bear that in mind. Quiet surroundings, but also close to shopping centres. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return.

Lovely beach shack with all you need!

Marula cottage was a wonderful serene place to spend a few days. The staff and their attention to detail was great. We felt really cared for and spoilt. Many thanks to Aleem and Soraiya. We will be back for sure.

We were allowed to spend 10 nights at Amelie's place. She's a great hostess with lots of tips and nice conversations. The property is centrally located in Tamarin, shopping nearby and less than 1km to Tamarin Public Beach. Through the hostess's garden you can reach the beach for magnificent sunsets and in the morning you can discover dolphins. The place is nice and big and has a great outdoor kitchen with living area right by the pool. If you have a light sleep, you may be woken up by car traffic in the morning. The southwest of Mauritius is perfect for hiking in the national park and many other activities. We would stay with Amelie again the next time we visit Mauritius.

We had a fantastic stay, Amanda and Nathan are fantastic hosts who went over an beyond to help organise having a cake made and book dinner at the nearby high end restaurant . Just to give a reference on the beauty of the surrounding, the cottage is nettled in its own little cove, between the Kempinski and the Four Seasons resorts that have picked the most beautiful beaches on the island (while being totally non-obstructive). It’s very private. There is a nature reserve 200m from the garden.

We had a fantastic stay at Johari Ndogo. It was exactly as described—clean, beautiful pool and very comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and Joe was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The staff were always available to help with what we needed. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area looking to get away from the hustle of the city.

Mario’s place was an absolute dream. A beautiful location with lush gardens and lots of lovely restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Mario was a fantastic host. Very responsive before check-in and delivered wine to us upon arrival. I will definitely be staying here again and again.

There’s few places I’ve visited that felt like home. I felt that Hamish and Lindsay put time and effort in ensuring their guests were super comfortable and had everything they needed to enjoy their holiday in Watamu. They provided snorkelling gear, mozzie spray, sunscreen and lots of interesting board games to play. Not to mention my fave Ottolenghi recipe book for some inspo. We really appreciated their well stocked kitchen and library. The house is perfect with several places to meditate and take in the sounds of the ocean. Nora and Arnold are excellent and lovely people who really added to the charm of the place. My 1yr old son loved the kitty’s and all the monkeys, Guinea fowl and monarch butterflies everywhere. When I come to Watamu next, it’ll be to stay at Hamish place.

Me and my friends had such a great time staying at Kananu’s place. The space was cozy and had everything we needed, but what really made it stand out was the people. The housekeeping and ground staff were honestly amazing so friendly, supportive, and always happy to help. Being surrounded by nature made the experience even more special. The peaceful environment and beautiful scenery gave us the perfect break from the usual city. Big thanks to Kananu and the entire team for making us feel so welcome. Would definitely stay here again!

it was a pleasure staying at Tequila sunrise, the forest Cabana was intimate, clean and spacious. beautiful scenery and the staff were all very welcome. I will stay here again.

Had a great stay at the beach bum cottage for four days. The property feels beautifully secluded from the Main Street and everything was in pristine condition. Eva and Hamisi were also wonderfuly helpful throughout. Hope to return soon

We had an amazing long weekend at Syringa Sands. Alex and Sean really made us feel welcomed at their farm. The cottage is a fantastic place to unwind and really feel like you’re away from it all.
