Kid-friendly holiday rentals in East Flanders

We LOVED our stay at Esteban and Joroen's. We had been attracted to the listing by the beautiful photos of the lush garden, the first floor outside decking , the bright interiors and the sense of peace and calm that was radiating out from the pictures. It was amazing to discover that it felt exactly like we had hoped and looked just as the photos but even more so. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting with everything we could need and more. We enjoyed three blissful days of cycling into Ghent on the provided bicycles, exploring the town and enjoying the food and drink options at the vast array of pavement cafe's and bars. In the evenings , after a stop at the nearby supermarket on our way back from town, we enjoyed the hot tub and then some drinks on the decking as we watched the sunset before preparing and eating dinner to the sounds of the wonderful assortment of vinyl that is on offer. In the mornings it was yoga in the lounge, surrounded by the plants, and then a cuppa on the deck

The accommodation at this Airbnb was quite amazing for us. We were able to feel right at home with a very clean apartment. The neighbors were also very nice at the Airbnb as well as easy access to go all over with the bikes my roommate and I had a very cozy stay.

Bert is extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. The best part of the accommodation is that there is a bathroom on every floor. The neighborhood is not pretty but the house is clean and cozy. Street parking can be tricky: there are green and yellow parking areas. In the green ones you can get a day ticket for 3.5 Euros but in the yellow areas you get to park maximum 5 hours at 1.80 Euros per hour. We parked in the green area but paid with a machine for the yellow ones. Bert helped us sort it out.

Ria is a very friendly host, super responsive and helpful. Her place is a great choice for people looking to reconnect with nature and slow down. The apartment has an outstanding design. My favourite was the bathroom. There are numerous walking and biking routes available, as well as nice restaurants in nearby towns. Highly recommend!

Everything we wished for and more. Our own private space on the best spot in the city center, quiet with the option to park right at the house. The house was absolutely spotless and the ambiance very cozy and sweet. Mechiel is the kindest guy and recommended us to many places that we visited on our stay. Thanks again! 10/10 - would book again! PS: Really go out for a walk at night, when everyone's gone and the city becomes a fairy tale 😍

Staying at Sabrine's cottage was truly a highlight of my trip to Belgium. She’s a kind, genuine, and welcoming host, and her home is full of charm and warmth.

A great place to stay! The house is very clean, cozy, and exactly as described. There’s convenient parking on the property, which was especially important for us. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet everything you need is close by — the location is excellent. A special thanks to the host: very friendly, responsive, and always ready to help. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

We were very happy during our stay, the Property was lovely, easy to find, access and lovely and clean. Fantastic level of stuff provided, from coffee pods, to toys for the kids, a high chair, baby monitor, BBQ, the list goes on... fantastic! Very kind hosts. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again one day.

The loft is spacious and light with views up and down the canal next door and onto the square below. It has tonnes of cupboard space, a large bathroom, a well equipped kitchen and even a record player with a colletion of 60s to 80s records. The sun streams in during the day from all angles. It is very close to restaurants and shops. We loved the space and it's location close to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ghent. The location is great and easily walkable to the city center. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. If I were to critique anything it'd be that the place is a bit cluttered. But all in all, if you are in Ghent, this is a great place.

This place deserves its high guest rating. It is in a quiet location a short walk from the historic centre. It is spacious and stylish and the parking place is a great bonus. Rudy is an excellent host and responded to my questions promptly. Ghent is a beautiful city and I would recommend the city pass.

Great place and perfect location near the oldest quarters in town. Cozy restaurants near by and slightly out of the way of the tourist stream. Will stay there again.

The apartment was impeccable, super technological and in perfect condition. Comfortable double bunk bed and spacious shower. Tom and Jurgen shared a lot of important information about the area and surroundings and about the house before we arrived and I must say that it was all very useful. I already miss Ghent! We stayed here for one week and absolutely loved it! Arnaud was very helpful. The Flat is just Beautiful and has absolutely everything you need, even an umbrella to borrow. It Looks Like a Designer Flat- we love the furniture and plates, Bowls, etc :) We can definitely recommend this lovely place!

Five stars! The place perfectly matched my expectations. I enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing environment, ideal for focusing on work. The apartment was beautifully located, well-equipped, and had good communication to the city's suburban areas. The hosts were incredibly friendly, thoroughly explaining all the details upon arrival. I truly recommend it!

Apartment was amazing. Plenty of space and a great location in Ghent, with a view of the castle to top it off. We had a great time and recommend trying Boon under the apartment, great vegetarian food!

The personal welcome from Hilde, the stylish decor and the very clean flat made us feel at home straight away. Calm area close to vibrant streets and to the city centre. Definitely a recommendation and one of the nicest apartments I've ever stayed in!

We had a great stay. Very comfortable with a large living room/kitchen space. Downtown Gent was just a short drive or the rail station is just a couple of blocks from the house. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Gent.

Our stay was great! We picked it as it was central to the many places we wanted to visit throughout Belgium, though it’s located in a quiet neighbourhood. Condo was very clean and spacious. Only comment would be if anyone has limited mobility, the stairs to get to the upstairs bedrooms are a little steep.

Our stay was great. The location is more out of the way but the city center is just a 10min. bike ride away. I felt safe and public transit was easily accessible when we needed it. The hosts were lovely and were quick to respond to my messages and questions.
