Very big and spacious house. The kids loved the pool. The two washers and a good dryer made it convenient to wash our dirty laundry.

We stayed at Jack Homestay during our Miri trip after hiking the Mulu Pinnacles, and it was an amazing experience. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay here. Check-in and out was easy. The host was very friendly and responsive any time of the day and provided good recommendations for local restaurants. The house worked great for our large family. The large living room was great. The kitchen had utensils we needed to cook some of our own foods. The gated and fenced area outside was a nice bonus for parking the car in as well as for the kids to run around in. Everything was clean and in order and worked as it should. While there is no washing machine, there are a couple laundromats nearby (just a few minutes drive). We did laundry there and ate at a restaurant in the same complex. There’s also a nice sized supermarket within a few minutes’ drive. Overall, we’d highly recommend this place!

On behalf of my 11 fellow partners, I would like to thank the owner of the homestay, Johnny, for his thoughtful care and warm help during our stay. On this trip to Semenon, we were exhausted and worn out when we first arrived at the homestay.The boss was still enthusiastic. Not only did he drive us to the supermarket to buy supplies, but he also patiently introduced us to the surrounding environment. The meticulous care instantly dispelled the fatigue of the journey.After checking in, the spacious and tidy room and well-functioning air conditioning also made us feel comfortable, setting a pleasant tone for this trip. Throughout the stay, the boss's thoughtful service was always present.On the day of our departure, to facilitate our trip to Starbucks Wharf, the boss worked tirelessly, driving back and forth three times to pick us up; he also drove us to the seafood market. When we encountered an emergency situation where the gas was exhausted while cooking seafood, a phone call, the boss immediately came to solve the problem; what moved us more was that he bought a local specialty fish, knowing that we would not cook, he personally cooked, so that we could taste the authentic Seminar flavor. Every help and kindness from the boss makes us feel the warmth of home.With his sincere service and selfless dedication, he added countless wonderful memories to our journey and made us feel nostalgic for Sembilan.Such thoughtful and considerate service fully demonstrates the high standard of service and humanistic care of your homestay. Great seaview and we caught the best sunset during our trip. Road leading to Jesselton Quay Citypad can be congested but it’s actually walkable to the city center,around 20 minutes. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores and laundromat in the same building

Best homestay we have ever stayed in!!! House is fully equipped, whatever tools/equipment/appliances/consumables items that you need are there. Owner is not stingy, communicates clearly & it was a pleasure to come across such pleasant one. We appreciate the owner’s great hospitality, they really placed extra effort to organise meticulously for our stay. Beautiful scenery towards Pulau Gaya & the bustling Jesselton pier. House is very clean, no bad odour, kids-friendly, well organised & great location. In the future, shall seek this same organisation/ owner for our homestay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The owner was incredibly responsive and did their best to ensure our comfort throughout our visit. The communication was seamless, and any questions or requests we had were addressed promptly. The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and located in a convenient area. It truly felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again in the future!
