Incredible room, great value for money. The location was only 20minutes walk from town, in a lovely remote area. The room was large, had great facilities and I would definitely stay again.

Glenn was very friendly and helpful. The hostel is very centrally located and perfect for groups.

Glenn was really open, the room I booked wasn't available but offered me a alternative room with ensuite. The room was clean and had everything I needed. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train station, close to the town centre but far enough away at the same time for a quiet evening. I was going to an event at the Social and was super close.

Absolute gem of a stay! Such a clever extension, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully designed to have everything you need and with loads of beautifully crafted items. Pru gave us eggs, bread, homemade lemon curd and some other bits when we arrived which was such a nice touch. Very clear instructions, recommendations for the local area and very responsive to our questions. It was our first stay away on our own with our 10 week old, and Pru provided a beautiful (handmade!) moses basket for our baby to sleep in as well as a little basket of sensory toys for her, which she loved! She was kind about the crying and the space felt very separate from the house due to the use of the porch to split into two houses. I would recommend this AirBnB to anyone! Unique and beautiful space close to Hull, Beverley and an easy drive to the coast.

Gillian met us on arrival and was so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was fabulous! Tastefully furnished with everything we needed plus more! Freshly laid eggs from the families own chickens, fresh bread, even a bottle of wine in the fridge! Beautiful views over rolling countryside, and such a peaceful setting too. We couldn’t have asked for anything better and will definitely be returning when we visit our family again. We can’t recommend this Airbnb enough. Thank you Gillian and family for a wonderful visit.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were fantastic and very, very welcoming. They could not do enough for us. The Guinness and Steak pie was absolutely wonderful and breakfast was perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone and we would stay again. Thank you so much to all the staff.

We had a great stay at Georgia's place. The location is ideal - walkable from the train station, walls, river, shambles, Minster. The sitting room is lovely with access to a back patio. Stairs are mildly steep for elderly guests, but there is a handrail. Overall, fantastic and recommend!!

Waters meet is an Immaculate, spacious, warm and comfortable home from home. Has everything you would need for a short or long stay in a very peaceful setting. The host is extremely responsive and attentive and I honestly believe nothing would be too much trouble.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely caravan – it was perfect for all ages and had everything we needed. The caravan was spotless and really comfortable. There was plenty to do both on-site and in the surrounding area. We visited for my daughter’s 5th birthday, and she had an amazing time at the kids club – it really made her trip special. Withernsea was a great choice too – peaceful and not too busy. A big thank you to Gillian for allowing us to stay; we hope to return again soon! Cherish. X

Great location for a few days stay whilst at The Brid Beach Footy tournament. Chalet has everything you need, brilliant location on a tranquil site. Very spacious for a chalet and everything provided for your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's very accessible from the station and a lovely walk via the museum gardens into town. Little notes and instructions are located on all the important things in the flat which is super useful! It was a great little place for us to use as our base during our weekend trip to York. Host was very proactive and helpful too. There isn't parking for this property, but it is about 10-15 minutes walk from the NCP car park at the station (or there are other slightly more expensive car parks much closer), so this wasn't a major problem!

Very welcoming host and very helpful with the instructions. The room was lovely and comfy, the bathroom spacious, all very well equipped. It is very conveniently situated a ten minute walk to the university and fifteen mins to the city centre, it easily reachable by bus from the train station as well. The house is in a dead end street so no traffic. The facilities were as described and there is even a booklet made by Ashley of recommendations in the city (activities, food,drinks). Would definitely come back when back in York!

Very warm, comfortable and quiet room, with thoughtful touches. Excellent kitchen facilities and dining room, all immaculately clean.

Jamal was a very kind person. And this was in a prime location where you can save lot of money no need to book any cabs.If you want to go to any place just walk for 15 min. And don’t worry Jamal will guide you about what to look insights. This was the best place to stay in York. And you will for sure come back again to this place if you stay there. super responsive host, excellent price, very clean and comfortable

Host is absolutely lovely and so helpful and kind. House location is easy peasy to get to by car, parking available on quiet road, no need to drive into town, unless you really want to. No noise from road. Lovely short walk (15/20 minutes for me) to the centre of town along the river (or the main road, which is not so nice but you do pass shops, restaurants and pubs along the way). Sainsbury's local at the end of the road and down a bit, 5 minute walk if that and if you walk along the river when you pop out on the main road Sainsbury's is on your right literally on your way back to your room. Room is spacious, shower is great, loads of towels, even get dressing gowns and blankets if you want to snuggle, which we didn't as we were blessed with the weather. Again host is the best. Due to a slight issue on leaving, he was so accommodating, he restored my faith in humanity. Highly recommend and I would be happy to stay again.

The place was lovely and exactly what we needed for a weekend stay in York! A good enough distance to walk into the city centre and if you needed anything some local stores are not too far away! The handwritten note of local restaurants and bars along with taxi numbers added a more personal touch.
