We had a wonderful time at Holly House. Simon was awesome and extremely helpful. The house was very homely with fresh flowers on the table and super comfortable bed. Walk to shop was handy. Highly Recommend.

A beautiful , wonderfully decorated house just a 20 min walk to the centre of York . Spotlessly clean and tidy and hosts went to the effort of adding an “ anniversary banner and balloons “ for us which was a lovely touch ( as well as Prosecco and sweet treats ) Hosts were fantastic and very responsive to our messages , we had a fantastic stay . We loved our stay at Sunnyside Barn and would definitely recommend it. Lisa’s house is pristine, stylish, comfortable and lovely to spend time in, with a fantastic garden and patio. (It’s probably the best Airbnb we have stayed in!) The location is great for visiting beaches, seaside towns and places of interest. Lisa was a fabulous and thoughtful host, with lots of helpful advice on local places of interest and good food options. We would highly recommend Sunnyside Barn - what a find!

Home from home. What a wonderful place! It was our first time visiting York and we had such a brilliant time, we will definitely be back! And we wouldn’t stay anywhere else other than Graeme’s place! The accommodation was within walking distance of the town centre and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The place was spotless throughout, the bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen and the shower had good pressure. We were enjoying ourselves so much we ended up staying extra night! Thanks again Graeme for a lovely stay :)

Very nice, clean and cosy place.. inside the cottage very clean and you will find all you need.. Lack of walkways around was the only concern and a bit to close to the main road. Other then that all perfect

Our stay couldn't have been any better, great location and only a short walk to the beautiful beach! Lovely quiet area. Fantastic communication from Julie. We had everything we needed and a lot more, lots of lovely thoughtful touches throughout the house. Brilliant shower and high quality bedding and towels etc. Really comfy beds/setee. Lovely enclosed garden which the dog loved! The whole place was spotless, would highly recommend and we would love to visit again!

Absolutely gorgeous place in a great small town. Easy to find, everything you could need supplied, and more! Thoughtful treats left for us and the dog. Very dog friendly. We had a very comfortable stay and if around that way, would definitely stay again.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. lovely apartment, so clean and welcoming. the apartment has everything you need and is really comfortable, everything is in walking distance.

The location is perfect for a short 5-10 minute walk into the city centre. Really easy to find in and check in was straight forward. For people who are looking for something quirky that fits the area that they are visiting, the place is perfect. Be prepared though, the listing states that the house is wonky and low- it certainly is that. Our plans changed and we ended up taking my parents. For people in their late 60s, navigating the stairs was somewhat tricky. Overall a great experience. The only downside for me is that the socialising spaces are quite dark and not very comfortable, but if it’s mainly a base for sleeping then it’s perfect.

Apartment was gorgeous. 3 big bedrooms with tvs. Huge living area with gorgeous kitchen that had everything. 2 modern bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Parking at back of property big enough for 2 cars. Also an electric charge point if needed. Little court yard area to sit out in when weather nice. Nice park over the road and apartment next to a COOP grocery store. Chinese take away on same road. 15 min walk into York which is easy to walk. Loads of car parks if you prefer to drive. York is well worth a visit. Loads to do and see. Tons of restaurants including a few good traditional Indian/nepalese which didn’t disappoint. We came with our kids age 21 and 15 and two of their friends. Would definitely stay again maybe before Xmas as York is one of the best Xmas markets we’ve been to in the past. Host was responsive and everything about the apartment was perfect. The key lock box made it easy to check in. Would highly recommend we had a great time thank you 🤩

Just had a wonderful stay at this property, which is located just a couple of minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars. The check-in details were on point and we easily found and accessed the property with no issues. Once inside the photos were a true representation of the flat. The location as above was second to none, although next to a fairly busy road (masked by bushes), the glazing did a great job and we could not hear anything, it was also nice to look out over the town walls. We only had 1 issue regarding cleaning and that was the cooker hood, which did not look like it had been cleaned for months, leading to a strong cooking smell all over the flat. So ended up cleaning it myself and contacting Pass the Keys who dropped off additional dishwasher tablets (even though on instructions it stated not to use the dishwasher). All in all a great property, easily walkable to all the main attractions, with parking right outside the door.

Our stay in York was just what we wanted. The flat had everything we needed and provided a perfect location for visiting York with it being a short walk from the minster and town centre. The entire time Melanie was attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to provide detailed instructions for accessing the flat. Highly recommend this property and the host for a weekend away to explore the city!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay over the weekend. The apartment was as described, nice and clean. Our hosts were amazing and very responsive. Will definitely re-book if another trip to York is planned. Highly recommend ☺️

The accomodation was immaculate. Couldnt be in a better location for walking into York...part of the city wall walk just outside apartmemts. Decorated for xmas which was a lovely touch. Cosy and warm... Excellent communication. Would definatly recommend .

From booking our stay at Ashley’s apartment right through to check-out, our experience was excellent. Ashley was always responsive when we had a question both before and during our visit. The apartment was perfect for what we needed: clean, modern and within a 15 minute walk of York’s key landmarks, such as the cathedral and the Shambles. An absolute gem and would definitely look to book again when we next visit York. Thank you Ash for a wonderful stay!

A really nice place. Quiet location, which was exactly what we wanted. Very comfortable inside with a garden area that our dog liked a lot. We only stayed one night but would have liked to have stayed longer

Lovely place, tastefully decorated and furnished. Welcoming gifts and attention to the little touches added to that ‘looked after’, homely feeling and a sense of being valued as guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. A beautiful flat in a lovely market town. Thanks to Diane, we were easily able to find our way from the station and drop our bags off a little early so we could start to take advantage of her local recommendations for a spot of lunch, before enjoying a dessert on the terrace. Both the flat and the town were delightful to spend a couple of days in.

Sharon was an ideal host. She was very communicative and sweet. The flat was clean and comfortable and she even put out a bowl with dog food and provided milk when we arrived. It’s easy to see how much thought she has put into to the flat and how much care is put into to maintaining it. We travel to Hull frequently to visit family and this is by far the best air bnb stay we’ve had there. We look forward to booking the flat again soon!

A fantastic location to visit York, with views of the wall as well as York Minster. Accommodation was very good with 10min walk into York for sight seeing and restaurants, would stay here again.
