Large Beachfront Holiday Escape 30 min to Wgtn CBD

Large private getaway within a family home. Guests enjoy a private entrance from driveway; a large private lounge which also has a double bed, a private double bedroom with queen bed, a private bathroom and kitchenette. Cosy heating and electric blanket. Across the road is a safe swimming beach, a children's playground and summer pool. You can walk for miles on this beach enjoying the stunning views of Wellington city and the South Island mountain ranges. We are 3 mins walking distance to shopping and cafe precinct of the seaside Eastbourne village. (Supermarket, Library, Doctor, Pharmacy, Dentist, Hairdresser Beautician, Massage, Deli, Cafes, Fruit Shop, Gelato, (Two cafes do delicious frozen meals.) all within 3 mins walking distance. 10 min walk to Days Bay, a stunning beach that has a Ferry to the CBD. The East by West Ferry takes 25 mins. (eastbywest co nz) Kayaks and bikes are at Days Bay in summer to hire. (bike shed pencarrow com) (the boatshed days bay com) Buses go every 30 mins to Wellington City and Lower Hutt city. There are bikes to hire at Burdens Gate for a flat coastal ride to twin lighthouses and stunning views down to South Island. (bikeshed pencarrow com) We are 4 mins walk to an entrance of the National Park with extensive and beautiful bush walks. Quiet family of 3 live at the property but guests enjoy all private amenities in separate apartment within the home. Continental breakfast provided. Families are welcome.

Suitable for 1 or 2 people, the annexe is a lovely space with a kitchenette and full bathroom. Access road is steep and narrow:)

Welcome to the Art House - a petite, quirky space up a steep driveway. Strategic location - 4 minute drive down to Petone Station where there is free parking, jump on a train for a 12 minute trip to Wellington. Jackson Street (6 minute drive) has more than than 60 restaurants, bars and cafés. From here it is a 15 - 20 minute drive to ferry terminals and CBD. There is no kitchen, just a microwave, kettle/jug and bar fridge. We live above the unit so there is noise from time to time.

Beautiful quiet "tiny house" garden retreat with mezzanine sleeping loft; very simple but warm and cosy. Carpeted, insulated and double glazed. Sleeps two upstairs on two single mattresses. You need to be agile enough to climb the ladder to the sleeping loft. Own shower and toilet a few metres from the cabin. Heater, kettle, fridge, microwave, toaster and basin in cabin. Wifi. Simple breakfast ingredients and hot drinks provided.

A Perfect Stay with Stunning Views and Thoughtful Touches I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the breathtaking views—truly a sight to wake up to every morning. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade banana cake they provided—it was such a thoughtful and tasty treat! The Airbnb itself was well-stocked with so many extras that made the stay even more enjoyable. From little amenities to thoughtful details throughout, it was clear that our host Julia had put a lot of effort into making guests feel at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for stay. I will definitely be back!

My stay at Mikaela's was just perfect for a four day stay during a course I attended. It was a great location for a walk along the harbour in the morning and shopping in Petone. Great yummy restaurants very close. Mikaela was awesome to communicate with and was very responsive and helpful with the questions I had. The apartment is private and homey, bright and airy with great amenities for a pleasant stay. I enjoyed reading by the fireside heater which kept the apartment warm. Bed is comfortable and nice linen. I enjoyed hearing the kids playing next door at the preschool.

This could not have been any better! Very clear instructions, special space and surroundings. From the extra touches, to the friendly chats, my wee home away from home felt serene. Open and light, airy and cozy. This place has it all. Rain on the skylight, sounds of the sea on the peaceful morning, stunning sunsets and cozy bed. It is under there home but you have all the space and privacy you could want. I think you need to stay here!
