This homestead is perfect for a family get away- the house is so beautifully kept, the gardens are so established and well kept, the views and aspect of the house are gorgeous. Claire is such a helpful and kind host. We recommend this special spot and we’d love to visit again!

Stunning views!!!! Ruth’s place is one of a kind. Laying in bed watching the stars at night and then sunrise in the morning. Spectacular!! Comfy place, everything you need to bunker down in winter. So close to the Otways and all the fabulous hiking. We’ll be back!

We had a lovely time at Fiona’s thoughtful cottage. We particularly loved the wood fire heater, vintage iPod (with every artist ever) and fresh bread upon arrival. Just a short drive to Daylesford - it was the perfect little weekend getaway from the city. Thank you! We hope to be back one day :)

From the moment we arrived we felt like we stepped into a fairy tale. Wendy’s place was so gorgeous and peaceful and beautifully styled, it felt so warm and cozy! To top it off the magical walk to the little kangaroo surprise on the property was just incredible. Wendy was so responsive and on top of all we asked her ❤️ Bedding was also divine felt like we melted into the beds! Sitting out sipping our morning coffee as the sun warmed our skin and the little blue wrens hopping by to say hello was a weekend we would repeat in a heartbeat. A place we felt worlds away to enjoy each others company! Thank you Wendy & Luan We can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful weekend away, lovely friends catch up, recharging & enjoying peace & quiet. Walked loop around property, collected eggs for brunch, read books by fire & tried out hammock. Lauren was very friendly & helpful, with a great intro on arrival. Such well designed lodges, will be back again for sure

The Shearing Shed is a whimsical delight. It is exactly as you see in the photos. It’s spacious and the king bed is soooo comfortable. It’s rustic and charming and very relaxing. We happened to visit when Cowra was nudging 40c and the powerful a/c unit kept the whole shed perfectly cool. Viv was a fantastic host welcoming us in person, gave us the low down on the place and the local area and even called and booked us into a restaurant for our Saturday night. Their friendly animals wander about and will check in you occasionally (dogs Peter and Simba, cat Bob and the 2 horses. One of whom George visits each morning). Fantastic stay, highly recommended.

What an unbelievable gem hidden away in the trees. Bud (🐶) & I couldn’t have had a more peaceful week away at Fleur & Mike’s stunning loft. From watching the sheep out of the kitchen window (or from the shower when I was quiet enough), to the thoughtful, kind of romantic, cabin decor. We felt so at home, whilst also feeling so removed from the city - which is exactly what we were looking for. The highlights for us were walking into a toasty fireplace lit for us by the wonderful Sarah, the open-door morning showers, strolls around the land, and the dance parties inside at night with the sound system up loud. Thank you again for having us, we’ll be recommending to everyone.

Enjoyed our stay at Michael and Lou’s. The tiny house was well fitted out, the proximity to all the highlights of the region was fantastic while still being relaxing. Had a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Hyette! It had everything we were looking for, for a getaway weekend as a treat for our birthdays. Everything was sleek and modern, yet it had characteristic hyette charm. I travel a lot, and this place had me feeling right at home immediately. Bonus points for introducing us to a new game (Talking Hearts). We are already looking at dates to return again next year!

Very peaceful and quiet getaway! Easy to find and lovely little place to stay

We had a great stay! The atmosphere was wonderful, with beautiful views and a serene setting that made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. We really enjoyed the wood-fired pizza for dinner. The bathtub was another highlight; soaking while enjoying the stunning view was truly amazing. Overall, a memorable and peaceful stay.

The farmhouse itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of birds and spending mornings feeding the sheep was so refreshing—a true break from city life. The hosts were incredibly kind, giving us tips on how to interact with the sheep and even sharing fresh eggs from their chickens! If you're looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway with a touch of farm life, this is the place to book. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning! 10/10 experience! 🐑💚

What a beautiful little slice of the yarra valley. The heating was very efficient, it was icy overnight and we had no idea. We woke to kangaroos outside the window each morning. The caretakers lodge was much closer to the accommodation than I expected, however they were very helpful and friendly and I didn't see them apart from when I checked in. The house is stunning. The view from the huge windows is lovely. It felt very luxurious and was a lovely place to stay after getting married. I would absolutely recommend Kangaroo Manor to others, and I'd love the opportunity to stay there again one day. The hosts were very proactive, kind, and professional, and gave me the impression that I could contact them at any time. Thank you for a very memorable experience.

Our stay at Kookawood was truly magical! The house offered beautiful, nostalgic charm, and the crystal-clear night skies provided breathtaking views of the Milky Way. Enjoying roaring fires, both outside and in, added the perfect cozy touch to our evenings. The outdoor bubble bath on the last morning was a final, special treat.

Beautiful stay! We had such a great time in the Barossa. Very clean and well presented. Everything you need for a group of 4. Big spacious rooms. The fireplace was a daily hang out location after all the winery visits. Very close walking distance to all Tanunda shops near the end of the main strip. Just be mindful that the cottage is connected to the main house so not as private as expected, however we didn't see anyone during our stay. Also, the spa does have a beautiful view to the vineyard but is also visible from the main house so again, not as private as expected. The shared bathroom is also right off the central living area. The pictures in the listing of the larger cellar space with the long table aren't what is available in this cottage - only the smaller room. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay as it was the perfect spot to visit countless wineries and explore the town.

Wonderful hosts and amenities and beautiful peaceful surrounds. Christine and Jamie were great hosts and provided additional fire wood to ensure we stayed warm through our stay. They had the fire going before we arrived on a very cold day which was greatly appreciated. Our dogs had a wonderful time too. Would love to return again!

Michelle’s place was beautiful, clean and in amazing surroundings. They were delightful hosts, being available when you wanted but gave you privacy otherwise. Our son loved the animals and the marshmallows on the fire pit. Definitely will be going there again.

We stayed as a couples getaway with our fur baby, Japanese spitz. The team know what they are doing - impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, great amenities (bathtub, spa, fireplace, gardens), cute animals (alpacas, ducks, chickens, sheep), and lovely welcome treats all around (wine, chocolates, biscuits, halloumi, eggs, bread). Could not fault this place. Highly recommend ❤️ Federico was also super friendly and responsive throughout. Thank you for your hospitality!

The house was really perfect for our two days of exploring the Scenic Rim and enjoying the Scenic Rim Food Festival. As soon as you walked into the house, you were greeted by an amazing scent of Wanderlust room diffusers, and we really appreciated all the gorgeous body wash, lotion and hair products that were provided. The kitchen lacked for nothing, and little extras were very much appreciated. We didn't get to use the outside firepit, but it looked a welcoming space (maybe next time). The beds were comfortable and the heating was appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future. If we had young children or a pet, they would have been very at home with all the thoughtful extras especially for them.

Absolutely Stunning – A Perfect Girls’ Getaway! From the moment we walked in, the views felt unreal – like something out of a dream. This place is the perfect escape to relax and unwind. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and it instantly set the tone for a peaceful, refreshing weekend. We came here for a girls’ weekend, and it couldn’t have been better. Everything was just right – from the cozy atmosphere to the beautiful surroundings. We had the best experience and made so many great memories together. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene retreat. We’re already planning our next visit. Can’t wait to come back!
