Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Eau Claire

My wife and I just stayed at FishTail Lodge! It was Perfect! Pictures were exactly how the cabin appeared. Tom is an amazing host who responds to any question quickly. Check in and Check out was easy. The Cabin is in a Wonderful location and is spotless. There is so much to do within the property itself. From Relaxing at the fire pit, to the screened in porch or on the pontoon. There is a pool table, darts, and ample games and movies. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We have rented other cabins in the past, I would say, without question, this is the best place we have rented in every aspect. If you are reading reviews in order to help decide if this is the place. . . This IS the place! Rent it! You won't be disappointed.

The Sedge Wood Farmhouse/Stacy’s place is so welcoming, peaceful, well equipped and very clean. Stacy is very responsive and easy to communicate with. A friend and I stayed for two nights while hiking the Ice Age Trail and it was a perfect place to come “home” to. We got to meet Ashly who shared interesting information with us about the farm and farming practices that they use. This is a great location for people hiking the Ice Age Trail in Chippewa and Taylor Counties. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

This place was absolutely perfect for our large family! Everything that was described as the resort having was available to us. Kayaks, paddle boards, boat tubes, lots of toys for children, outdoor play area for kids, great pool platform, and dock. We loved the location. It was peaceful and quiet, but so many things to do. A wonderful outdoor fire pit with wood available for burning and roasting sticks. The kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances and cooking utensils that we needed. We literally would not have needed to bring anything. We also brought our own boat up and the access to put in and get to the B&B was simple and easy and it worked out perfect for us. The only possible thing I could think of is if you are wanting to get to the big side of the lake versus the smaller peaceful one be aware of the size of your boat, as it may not fit under the train bridge. This place was absolutely PERFECT for our large family. You will not be disappointed with this place! HIGHLY RECOMM

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything we needed. Loved the plants! We hope to stay again.

The five of us stayed only one night (including one dog) and we thoroughly enjoyed the space. Roxie (the dog) appreciated the instructions aimed specifically at her. We loved the view of the river out the picture window and from the high deck. The spacious open-plan kitchen-living-dining room is sunny, spotless, uncluttered, interestingly decorated, and homey. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms nicely laid out. I'd love to have a longer stay at Anne's house.

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and it was everything I’d hoped for and more! We were looking for somewhere quiet outside of the cities and this place definitely delivered. The hot tub was a hit, we fished off the dock (and actually caught something!) and the house itself was gorgeous. There were plenty of beds for 8 of us to buddy up and they were VERY comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for our large group and made it easy to socialize while preparing meals. Though it did rain most of our stay, the size of the space allowed us to enjoy each other’s company without feeling cramped. The separate apartment was a great bonus as well and offered some additional privacy, plus the one-time extra fee is very reasonable for what you get. Overall, I have no complaints about the location and our host was very responsive anytime we had a question that needed addressing. 10/10 experience and I hope to stay here again in the future!

This was a great place for my family of seven who came to the area as part of our 'Little House on the Prairie' pilgrimage. Even though it was a challenge sometimes sharing the one bathroom, the house was spacious and comfortable. It was well stocked, had lots of beds and gathering places. We loved using the deck to eat dinner and the living/front room where we had great views of the lake while we played games. We enjoyed the location as it is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and a coffee shop. Highly recommend this place if you're coming to the area.

Ray was super responsive and communicative. The place was super clean and had all necessities for cooking etc. Would definitely come again.

This place is amazing. The back yard with the dock right on the lake is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The house is nice, spacious and well taken care of. Grilling in the back yard eating off the picnic table. Loved our stay and Diana was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Will definitely be going back when in the area.

Abbey was an excellent communicator—I really appreciated her prompt responses and her thoughtful offer to turn on the AC before my arrival. The unit was exactly as shown in the photos: spotless, clutter-free, and very clean. It was a comfortable and quiet space, perfect for a quick weekend stay, and conveniently located near the fairgrounds where I was attending an event. I truly enjoyed my time there—thank you, Abbey!

We booked this while checking out the area for a possible move, and Laura was very responsive and helpful with all kinds of info. The place served our needs well. We have now moved to Amery. 😊 Thank you!

We absolutely loved this cozy space and all the attention to detail in the thoughtful touches throughout the unit. The proximity to restaurants and shopping can’t be beat – was nice being able to park the car for the weekend and just walk where we wanted to go. The artwork throughout the unit was impressive and the abundance of comfortable seating was very much appreciated for curling up with a book and just relaxing. We look forward to our next visit!

Beautiful garden and grounds. Right on a lake. Quiet and easy.

Abbey’s place is exactly as described - a quaint little apartment perfect for spending time near the Stout campus and downtown Menomonie. Walking to both is super easy. The apartment is in an old school building that has a ton of character, and the pet friendliness of this place is no joke - well-behaved pets make themselves very comfy here. Our weekend here was perfect, and I would be happy to stay again if in Menomonie!

Ashley’s and Charles’ place was wonderful! It’s like a European cottage in the woods of Wisconsin. “Cottage” because of the sweet, homey, personal touches (like the China that is the same pattern that my wife’s my grandparents had at their house!) and yet not little by any means—open concept and beautiful views of the Apple River. We were here celebrating our anniversary and it was so peaceful! The main suite in the loft is romantic with a comfortable king bed and a separate shower and soaking tub. There’s also a bedroom on the main floor with twin bunks and a double bed tucked in. It was comfortable with A/C and heat and wood stove, which we never got around to using. Ashley was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had, and everything was clean and the kitchen well-stocked for all our needs. We highly recommend this sweet getaway!

The Backwater was an amazing location for our girls' getaway. We love the water and the outdoors, and the cabin provided the perfect combination of natural surroundings and creature comforts. Most of the weekend was spent on the screened-in porch, listening to the birds and frogs. There are multiple comfortable and beautifully decorated indoor and outdoor gathering spaces; we needed more time to enjoy them all! The location is quiet and peaceful, and we even enjoyed watching a fawn walk through the yard. The house is beautifully decorated with unique and interesting items that serve as conversation starters. We even found a circus book containing pictures of our family's old circus posters from years ago! The scavenger hunt was great fun, but we didn't manage to find everything on the list. Sarah is an amazing host. She responded to questions quickly and provided everything that we needed. The kitchen is well-stocked. It's also a short drive to town for any forgotten items.

Our stay at the Liten Stuga was wonderful! Angela thought of everything to make the cabin inviting and comfortable. We are sincerely hoping to return.

Highly recommend this place. I have rented this a few times in the past and always very clean and stocked with all essential needs. Kerrie has always been very good to work with.

Awesome host! Was only there for a quick visit with coworkers but this would be a PERFECT retreat for an outdoorsy family. Will book again!

First stay ever with just myself and my children and grandson, best vacation ever. Easy water access made kayaking/ water board so convenient and just that more enjoyable. The cottage was so cozy and comfortable with most everything you need as far as kitchen/ bathroom amenities. We would definitely recommend and stay again.
