Aldercroft Pod

Aldercroft Pod is a Luxury Glamping Pod situated in Inverinate, with views of Loch Duich and the 5 sisters of Kintail. The pod is 2.5 miles from Dornie and Eilean Donan Castle. We are 13miles from the Skye Bridge and Isle of Skye. Ideal base for hillwalking in Kintail and Glenshiel. The Pod is located in our garden space, around 20 meters from the house but still very private and with a better view! We are located just off the A87 which is the (busy at times) main road to the Isle of Skye!

Perfect for twitcher and wildlife enthusiasts, you may even catch a glimpse of an otter and seals! This is also an ideal launch site for your own kayak/canoe/SUP to just paddle around. From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

This area is one of the most beautiful places in the world! Fantastic walks, wildlife, castles & brochs, seafood, bakery and a chocolatier! Otters & Herons can be spotted on the shore, and clear starry nights are memorable…

This unique place has a style all of its own. set on the top of a hill with stunning views over the sound of Sleat, taking in breathtaking views of the Isles of Eigg and Rum and in the distant the most westerly point of Scotland. We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful. Fabulous hill walking and climbing in the Torridon mountains, mountain biking on tracks and quiet roads, fishing, and sea trips to explore this beautiful part of the Highlands. For the less energetic, just sit, relax and watch the ever-changing scenery.

The village of Dornie is home to the world famous Eilean Donan castle which is only a 10min drive from the cottage.
