I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

Loved the location , not to far from the center of downtown but it felt was more in the local area which I loved the room was amazing and my favorite was the balcony

The host is super nice, very sincere and thoughtful.We had a wonderful stay here.The room is large, clean and bright, and the kitchen has everything it should have, suitable for small long stays.

The place was cozy clean and comfortable like home so u don’t feel awkward in it. What an awesome guy is Hashim. Guys this guy is amazing and very friendly. I was too late to get the check in after the midnight and despite he had to go to work early at the morning he waited for me till i reached the place and this was really too late. I recommend it to u guys

My hotel experience was excellent by all accounts. From the first I walked in, I noticed the cleanliness and high ranking in every detail. The bed is fresh and very comfortable, providing me with a calm and relaxing sleep. The bathroom is so clean and the whole furniture is new, it's like you're still in a place just opened. I asked about the hotel and they told me that they were only 15 days open — and that explains it all: attention, equipment, and cleanliness. Its location behind the Kempinski Hotel means close to everything and quiet at the same time. My stay at Mahmoud's place was great. The room was really nice and comfortable, just like in the pictures. Everything is as mentioned. The best part was Mahmoud; he was such a good and friendly host. He made everything easy and pleasant. Definitely a lovely place and a wonderful host!

Our stay at Maged’s place in Cairo was truly exceptional. Communication was effortless, with clear instructions and quick responses. Maged even helped us arrange a private car, which made our arrival smooth and easy. The apartment was spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and had every amenity we could possibly need. The large balcony overlooked a famous mosque and offered a peaceful spot to relax. The gated property felt completely safe and secure. What made this stay truly unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality of Maged’s father, Mr. Mohy Elprince. His calm, kind, and generous presence made us feel instantly at home. He helped us with anything we needed, brought us delicious local Koshary, and even gifted us lovely souvenirs from Egypt. His thoughtfulness touched our hearts. Maged was also respectful, polite, and attentive throughout our stay. Thank you both for such a warm and memorable experience. We’ll always cherish it and definitely hope to return when we visit Cairo.

Hoda was an amazing host! She was extremely kind, responsive, and made our stay in Cairo so much easier with her excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants. The flat is in a fantastic location, on a safe and quiet street, and it was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home. This must have been one of the most beautiful AirBnBs I've ever stayed in. High ceilings, well curated decor, quality furnishings in an apartment sited in a charming building with famous past residents of Egypt high society. We stayed 1 week as a family and had lots of space to navigate, and discover many unique art pieces and details in the space. Garden City was lovely for walking around and a central point for exploring both Cairo and Giza. The neighbourhood was very busy with lots of honking heard throughout the day, but truly this is hard to avoid in Cairo. Plus there was a neat noise machine in the room for those who may need -- a lovely touch! Only frustration was the hot water in the shower, as it was gas-powered and quite tricky maintaining a consistently warm shower. Nevertheless, Charlene was very helpful in trouble-shooting and following up on our comfort levels. Overall, I very much appreciated the thoughtful details and soft place to rest in Cairo.

I lost count of how many times I’ve stayed at Safaa’s place - it truly is my second home! Safaa and her family are so kind and always make sure everything is perfect and comfortable before my stay.
