We had an amazing time at this property! The house was incredible. The views were absolutely breathtaking and made every morning feel special. One of the most memorable moments was when a toucan came to visit us right on the property. We were lucky enough to snap some photos. Hopefully I can upload them here somehow. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Ana was very responsive and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. if you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended and would love to come back.

If it is available for your dates, book it right now. We spent four nights here with our family of five and I would stay at least one more night next time. The location is perfect in every way- safe, private, walkable, views, easy access to everything. Beds were comfy and plunge pool was a plus. Marvin has thought of every detail... there was even a pitcher of cold water already in the fridge for us when we arrived. Communicating with Marvin was also like having a local friend giving us ideas for our tours. Everything he suggested was great and he made the booking process easy. It was much nicer than the hard sells on the sidewalk of beautiful La Fortuna.

Very comfortable for five adults. Each couple had a bedroom and private bath that were entered from the courtyard. The leaving room was vey spacious and the kitchen was easy to use. The villa is located in the gated community which made it very safe. The guard was always on duty and once we were checked he always opened the gate with no waiting. There is a small Peruvian restaurant very near the town square that should not be missed. The food was excellent! Also I recommend getting a Costa Rican cocktail at the nearby BBQ restaurant. It is infused with fruit grown on their property. They are most friendly.

Wow! What an amazingly beautiful home for a group to share! Loved the spacious place and clean accommodations, large outdoor seating area and the pool is perfect! Just from the house we saw a sloth, toucans, & lizards. We felt very safe with having a locked gate. The privacy was nice. I hope to be back soon!

A really friendly and easy place to stay. You're left in peace, but very welcome, you feel like part of the furniture. My brothers were staying locally with their families and this place was perfect location for me to relax once we had all finished hanging out for the day. Activities are often from La fortuna so it's adds a few more minutes drive, but nice to be out of the hub. Bed was comfy. Kitchen good and very clean. Lots of towels. Use of washer/drier was useful to get things washed quickly. Host always there to advise via text and popped round a few times to say hi. I added another day no problem. The tour goes on through out the day, it's really interesting and fun. Lots of samples and facts to remember. The first tour is at 8am and you can hear chatting for a few minutes as the vanilla orchids are near the house and they stop to explain about them. I was always awake so not a problem. It's always an early start in this area with so much to do! Recommended !!

It truly is a little slice of heaven! Pictures don’t come close to doing it justice! We stayed 3 nights. It was easy to get to and close to the La Fortuna area. We can’t recommend pie in the sky enough! From check in to checkout it was wonderful!

The other reviews are correct. This place is even more beautiful in person. We did not the amount of space, how clean it was, and how luxurious it felt. It was like being in a resort. Even the way its designed was gorgeous. It was 4 adults and 2 kids and we all loved it. The kids especially loved the pool and how low it was and we loved the convenience of the market directly across the street. Also everything is a short taxi ride away. And to top it off, the one day pass at Las Logas Resort was awesome. We spent hours there walking the grounds and enjoying the hotsprings pools!! This is definitely one of the best airbnbs we've stayed at offering so many amenities withing close proximity to downtown and other attractions. Also the host Rebecca was very responsive! Be careful to follow the instructions when checking in because you will be lost. Thanks again Rebecca!

The house was incredible! Better than we expected. There was AC in the living area and each of the rooms that were freezing! Seems the house is brand new construction and the decor is beautiful! I would move right in as is and not do a thing. The host recommended a cooking service where a chef and assistant came to the house to cook us a fabulous dinner. They were amazing! Cleaned up after and left the kitchen impeccable. Even cleaned the floor in case anything was dropped. The pool was pristine and just the right size for our party. If I’m ever in the area in the future, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We give it 10 stars! Pura Vida!!

Beautiful home was very clean and had excellent air conditioning. Fantastic location only 1-2km from parts of La Fortuna where we kept going for new restaurants or shopping. The location is ideal because you are just out of range of the noise and lights, close enough so everything is accessible, and the beautiful view of Arenal from the 2nd story balcony just can't be beat. Responsive hosts including a local expert were all quick to respond to any question, and a great source of suggestions. My family would love to stay here again the next time we visit.

This cute little place was perfect for the two of us. Having the AC in the bedroom was so nice and made for a good nights sleep. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio and watching and listening to all of the birds and watching the cows who are right next door. Fortuna Waterfalls is close by and it’s a quick trip into town. We would stay here again.

It is a place of great peace, silence, contact with nature and warmth of the house. This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the place. Always impeccable and always attentive to answering our questions.

We absolutely loved Bob's place! We stayed for 2 nights: 2 kids and 2 adults. The place is big, comfortable and beautiful jungle views and surroundings. What stood out the most is how attentive Bob was and went above and beyond to make sure we felt right at home. He responded quickly to anything we asked and was super helpful not only at Casita but also when we had random questions about Costa Rica culture or recommendations around town. There is a ton of nature to observe from the clean and well appointed Casita. Bob took us on a personal night walk through the property to spot frogs and other nocturnal creatures. The kids had a blast in the pool. Thanks Bob!

Beautiful place, very clean and well kept, safe area, and responsive host. Google maps took us down the street to a different house but it was still on the right road so fairly easy to find based off accurate pictures on air bnb website

Aqua Vida is simply amazing. Words cannot describe how you’ll feel when you see everything you get with this property. It’s off the main road in La Fortuna but it’s very safe and peaceful. You get all the privacy you want while being 5 minutes away from everything in town. A huge natural spring pool, a covered area where you can cook, have your meals or just hangout, a huge yard to play in, a stream going through the property with beautiful trees and absolutely stunning landscaping. All this and you’re still not even in the house. Book this place. You’ll be happy you did.

It really is an incredible place, a comfortable, beautiful and very well-equipped house. It may be one of the best beds, pillows, and sheets you've ever found on an Airbnb. If you go with dogs, it is an ideal place because it has a large garden for them to have fun safely. Norman was super attentive, and responded to all my messages in a timely manner. If you're going to this area, don't hesitate to stay here. This place made my top 5 of the best Airbnbs in Costa Rica.

If you are looking to get away and find peace, this is your place. It is a stunning home with a view for days. The drive is challenging, but so worth the effort. Be sure to pick up everything you need before you head up because it's a trek to town. El Tigre Waterfalls is a must and you can't go wrong with any of the ziplines. Put this on your list!

Alonso and everyone was so kind, helpful and friendly. Perfect location for us. The house has what we needed to cook our own meals or we could walk to restaurants across the main street. Easy walk. Lots of birds on property. The house was perfect but the host made it feel top notch. Book this home!

While many other reviews mentioned it, I’ll have to note here again: the view is amazing. I enjoy taking so many photos through out our trip as the view is spectacular and it chnages quickly at different times, different weather. The weather has been kind to us so it only rained very hard mostly at night and few hours in the afternoon (mid June). Sitting out on the deck in the morning is peaceful and not too cold. All of the descriptions are accurate. The road coming here is rough but so is almost everywhere else in Monteverde. Definitely one of the best Airbnb places we’ve been.

Had a great stay at The Star House. Beautiful sunsets and rainbows. My kids loved watching the leaf cutter ants out in the yard. Also loved watching the hummingbirds and even a toucan from the swinging bucket seats with a cool gentle breeze. Very peaceful and relaxing. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water from the solar powered water heater. Kitchen well-equipped, including coffee. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is very large and beautiful, the pool is very nice, everything is very clean and tidy and excellent service from Janeth, very attentive, quick response and very kind, we thank you from the heart for your nice attention and help.

This was by far our family’s favorite stay at an Airbnb! From the moment we drove up, it felt like we stepped into our own oasis! The house was beautiful with amazing views, especially of Arenal. The outdoor living spaces were perfect for our big family. The house was accessible to our day trips to Fortuna and rafting. We hope to come back again soon!

The place exceeded our expectations—it was even better than the pictures! Maria was an incredible host, super welcoming and full of great recommendations for things to do in the area. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. Spotting cows during the day added such a charming touch to the experience. The home was spotless and beautifully maintained. I genuinely wish I could have stayed longer, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly, highly recommend staying here!

From the minute we walked through the doors we were in love! The place is gorgeous inside and out with breath taking views. We wished we had booked for longer because of how amazing the place was along with all the adventures you could do in the area! They booked massages for us and zip lining making things so seamless. 10/10 recommend this place and we can’t wait to come back again in the future!

Very quiet area, very clean and tidy. They were always attentive and the service was very good :) The only thing that was a little uncomfortable was the sound the two beds made:/
