From here you can extensively hike through the Harz Mountains or ride a mountain bike. It is also the starting point for excursions by car: Brocken with and without the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway, Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe, Ilsetal, Rübeländer Tropfsteinhöhlen, Rappbodetalsperre with suspension bridge, Regenstein Castle Ruins, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Goslar and much more.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in the Harz

The apartment on the first floor of a family house is located directly at the foot of the Harz, between the cities of Wernigerode and Ilsenburg in the small town of Drübeck. Located directly on the forest, you can hike from the apartment on numerous routes into the Harz Mountains or start with the mountain bike. The motorway (A36) makes the place the perfect starting point for excursions in the entire Harz region, as well as in the northern Harz foothills. With about 60 m², the apartment can accommodate up to 4 people.

The guest apartment is located in the annex of our house and can accommodate a maximum of 3 people. Bedding is available. The apartment is the perfect starting point for tours in the Harz Mountains and the surrounding area, as well as for city walks through Wernigerode. On the terrace you can have breakfast in the sun or relax after a hike in the Harz Mountains. Towels are included for stays of 3 nights or more. For shorter stays, a towel package can be rented for 2.50 per person/stay.

Relaxing vacation for family or friends (6 people). Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Our listed house was built over 200 years ago. The apartment is fresh renovated and newly furnished. The "Birke" is located on the 2nd floor of the house and extends over 2 levels. The 1,400-square-meter garden allows you to recharge your batteries or let off steam. Garden furniture with its own seating area and our new barbecue + fire pit invite you to linger.

Our apartment has been family-owned for over 100 years and has always been home to people who had a close connection to the Harz Mountains: as farmers of cows in the Upper Harz Mountains, as foresters in the forest and as passionate hikers and nature lovers. Main rental March - Nov. In winter, our small stove makes it nice and warm. Of course, there is also heating. Under the sloping roof is a kitchenette equipped for simple dishes, coffee/tea. In the bathroom shower and toilet, in the bedroom a wooden bed 140 x 200 cm with new higher mattress + topper and 1 closet. In the living room there is a corner couch that can accommodate 1 person to sleep, 1 armchair, TV and a dining area for 3 people. Wi-Fi available.
