Come and enjoy the beautiful Drenthe. Discover the Dwingelderveld, cycle through the Reestdal or visit one of the picturesque villages nearby. You can safely store your bicycles in our garage, and for short rides, we have loan bicycles for you. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We are looking forward to your arrival!

Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. This railway was established in 1899 and closed in 1945. This railway line is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for up to 6 people. There is free parking space, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

Er is ruime (gratis!) parkeergelegenheid. Je huurt de gehele bovenwoning en deel van de onderwoning met eigen keuken, woonkamer, badkamers, wc's en fijne tuin. Het Voorhuis van onze rijksmonumentale boerderij is gerenoveerd tot een volledig luxe suite met eigen voorzieningen. De originele details, zoals de hoge plafonds, de bedstee wanden en zelfs een originele bedstee waar je in kan slapen, zijn behouden. Maar liefst 65m2 met een eigen keuken, ruime woonkamer en aparte slaapkamer met vrijstaand bad. Toilet en ruime inloopdouche. Met de optie om, tegen extra kosten, gebruik te maken van de hottub, sauna en buitendouche kom je heerlijk tot rust

Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully furnished and the private terrace has a comfortable seat, barbecue, sun loungers and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €20 per person.

In the summer, enjoy your spacious private garden with seating area, a veranda and a hammock among the trees. In winter, you can sit comfortably inside by the wood-burning stove, which heats the room in no time. The tiny house is compact but equipped with every comfort!

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

The Lower County is known for well-developed bike paths: Along canals, rivers, moorlands and small villages, our border region can best be discovered by bike.
