Family-friendly holiday rentals in Emmen

The stay at Wietske was above expectations: an extremely cozy house with plenty of space. The garden was a relief: lots of greenery, trees and shade: everything we needed. A hot tub is not our thing, but for those who like it: it is there. All in all: highly recommended.

A charming spot to enjoy nature and truly disconnect. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We were two couples, and while the place felt a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was still perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! We had the best friends weekend. The house and garden are beautiful and has everything you need. There were also games at the house. Pasja always responded really quick and helped, when we had a question. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Tonny's place is great! We had a great weekend with a nice spa day. The house is comfortably furnished and the self-built spa house is a dream built with a lot of love. We will be happy to come back! 😊

We had a lovely stay at Joop and Thea's place. Everything was as described and clean. The hot tub and the fire place were definitely highlights and we would love to stay at this place some time again. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed a wonderful stay. Perfect for groups with (young) children. Beautiful wooded area where you can walk and visit Hunebedden. Even with rain, there is plenty to do in the house due to the multitude of games, the pool and table tennis table. We'd love to come again!

We really like this house. It was simple and so cute. You have everything you need. We easily recommend this place.

We had a nice stay at Mirte's. She always advised us very kindly and promptly when we had questions about the accommodation or the surroundings. The accommodation itself was very nice and as described, but unfortunately had a rather intense, peculiar smell. Regarding cleanliness: It was certainly vacuumed beforehand, but we would not describe it as really clean. Unfortunately, the cabinets and furniture were also very dusty (which is probably where the smell came from). But it may also be that we are a bit peculiar, as we come from the cleaning industry. All in all, we still felt the stay was pleasant because it is a very quiet location in the forest and we are real nature lovers. The only thing that should really be changed is a way to reach the accommodation directly by car. Currently, you have to walk about 150m to the hut and this can be really tedious depending on the amount of luggage (as in our case).

Had friendly contact with Lenie, also very willing to think along. Space was clean and cared for. It was cozy upon arrival and cozy with candles. Absolutely recommended.

We had a wonderful time in this idyllically located house! It was super clean, very lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped – you immediately feel comfortable. A very special highlight for us was the opportunity to use the motorboat provided – this made our stay unforgettable. Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

Another great stay, we have been here several times now and love it. The house has everything you need and the garden is a lovely place to sit with a morning coffee . Good dog walking from the house or a short drive to the woods . Shops are 10 minutes away with nice restaurants and cafes . We will be back !

We were with 8 women over the weekend in Henk's house and felt completely comfortable, as it is cozily furnished and very spacious. There were also several seating areas behind the house. Since we had 30 degrees, we did not use the beautiful sauna. The house is very quiet, a bit remote, which we liked.

We spent a few days in BijAnderen and had a great time. We were looking somewhere comfortable , quiet, peaceful in the countryside and close to cycle routes. All the boxes were well ticked. Saskia is responsive and helpful host and her holiday home is cosy and has everything you might need. The Drentsche. National park and the Balloerveld are beautiful landscapes to explore on the bike or hike. Highly recommend the food in the Hotel in Anderen.

It was a wonderful place, nice terraces, sun/shade, especially the terrace on the forest wall with great views, silence, you could hear the birds, deer came by in the evening. We didn't spend much time inside. Beautiful cycling routes in the area. The contact with Henk was very pleasant, personal.. A very nice place!!!

Fantastic place for a getaway! The house is a bit hidden but once you have found it, bombastic! Nice layout and amenities. We felt very comfortable. With the lake and outdoor swimming pool within walking distance we had a very nice summer vacation. The place is very cute and the people very hospitable. The house is highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here, Edwin has a truly amazing place. a massive garden for the children to play in, with pool etc. a very spacious living quarters with a big kitchen. all and all we really enjoyed our family weekend and can highly recommend it!

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

We would love to be back in summer...

Boshuisje 'Boszicht' certainly did not steal its name. Beautiful and quiet location in a mature forest with spruce, pine, deciduous trees and birch. Really unwind, breathe in the fullness of nature. The TV that was present was once again unnecessary! We set our alarm clock to wake us up at 5 a.m. to watch the sunrise. A little later, they spotted squirrels frolicking on the terrace, jumping from branch to branch. In short, plenty of enjoyment! Our 4 days there felt like 2 weeks! We will definitely come back, to further discover the rural environment and to catch a concert in the fantastic Bostheater in Ommen. Finally, one small downside: the refrigerator lacks a freezer compartment. That's why I'm giving it a score of 99% (wink!). Greetings and see you later, Benedikt Boone (Merelbeke/Belgium).
