This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

My girlfriends and I had an amazing weekend at Logan’s house! It was the ideal getaway for our annual Mother’s Day trip. The home was just as described and only steps from the beach. We adored the decor, especially the pink accents, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

Casa de Las Olas is an absolute gem. It has nine skylights offering abundant light, views of the ocean so close you can see seals playing in the waves, and a sanctuary of home in an otherwise bustling coastal town. The location is phenomenal, along the coastal walk area of San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and Ecological Reserve, with equal distance to wildlife sightings, dining, art galleries, and shops. Additional highlights include dual shower heads, a fireplace to warm the cooler coastal evenings and mornings, elevated ceilings, and all the unique character of a renovated cottage. It is the perfect size and location for solo travelers such as myself.

House is perfect for small family or group of people. Perfect distance to walk to village with little kids. Street and area are quiet. Only issue, which is not something the host can control but more for awareness of guests is the neighboring backyard by the master bath has patio lights on all night which come thru bathroom stain-glass windows and make the room bright during nighttime, which is unfortunate. Bring a sleep mask! House has everything you need away from home! We would definitely love to stay again!!

Dan's Shore Break house is nice and comfortable. We stayed with our small dogs & the yard is perfect for them, as well as us to relax. We did communicate with Dan and his response time was quick. I would definitely recommend Dan's place to anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful five night staying at Katie' s home. There are so many little touches that you can see the love and care she has taken for you to have a lovely stay. There was nothing we needed that we didn't find....to the point that when we brought so groceries in we purchased spices as we would normally for an air bnb...there was no need a huge selection. We enjoyed the pool and all the amenities. Our family consisted of my husband and myself, so we took one room. Our daughter, son in law and four year old grandson. As well as our other adult daughter. There was more than enough room for all. If you are considering but hesitant on price ...you won't be sorry if you do it. Her entire vibe and little touches make the experience as well. Right down to a turntable and a few great albums. Thanks for a lovely time. PS. take a moment to read her home manual, you will never be sorry, as you are staying in her home.

We loved how close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, and coffee shops. We also enjoyed bringing our dog who loved the outdoor patio we would definitely stay again. Cute place and very clean.

We loved our stay here! It is exactly as pictured. The location was awesome. We had a rental car and everything we wanted to do was within 20 mins or less from the house. There was a binder with lots of recommendations for places to eat and we went to several of the locations listed and loved them all. As far as the noise from the road, we had no issues with it. You can hear the cars passing by but they provide a sound machine and ear plugs which we did not need. If you have ever lived in the city or a busy road I doubt this will bother you at all. If we visit the San Diego area again this Airbnb will be the first place we look up! Thank you so much for a great trip at your place.

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Vanessa was very responsive and helpful with check in. I had made a request to check in early due to travelling with an infant and when I arrived she had a packnplay and a high chair set up for me. The house had several toys/books for kids along with beach chairs and shades for us to use. The pool and spa was beautiful and kept very clean. There is also a walking path at the end of the street that goes along the beach and leads to pacific beach within 15-20 minutes. Its hard to find a house this spacious and close to pacific beach for this price, would highly recommend to anyone. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive to messages which is always nice when travelling from far away.

The unit was well equipped having everything we needed. Owner was helpful and proactive. We didn't have any issues. The community deck over the ocean was fantastic. The beach here is wide enough to never have to worry about low tide or high tide. The unit provides a private stairway to the beach, while it is also a distance to get to for the public, resulting in an amazing beach with no crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and perfect for my sister and I to take our families on a vacation. Lots of space for the 4 and 6 year old girls to play and the adults to relax. Will definitely look to come back in the future!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

What a great place to stay! The views were amazing and so nice to sleep to the surf. Plenty of room the spread out and great to enjoy the couch or table while swatching the surf. Kitchen was great and beds were comfortable. Beach was a 5 min walk down the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants around. Wyatt was great to communicate with. Definitely will be back!

My family had a wonderful stay at Jon’s house! The location is close to everything but also quiet and peaceful. We all enjoyed the beautiful pool and beds were very comfy, not to mention a beautiful kitchen to cook in. We didn’t want to leave!

We were a last minute book for a one night stay and Kristi was very responsive and helpful. Her co-host recommended some great places and we appreciated the input! Hot tub is a lovely amenity. The house does get hot at night especially in the room without the ceiling fan. Thanks for having us!

Perfect home for a family of 5 for a SoCal vacation! Home has everything you need and was so very relaxing whether we were hanging inside or outside. Front has a beautiful porch to sit and enjoy rocking chairs with our morning coffee and in the evening, an outdoor big couch for all of us to sit around the firepit for smores and cocktails. Quick walk to the beach and short easy walks to Carlsbad Village to eat, shop, etc. Mimi & Hank referrals to restuarants were spot on! Finally, easy ride to San Diego for zoo, and some delicious Mexican food. Thank you Mimi & Hank for making our annual family vacation absolutely perfect!

Our extended family was camping at San Elijo State Campground and we so enjoyed staying at Lisa’s place as we visited them at the beach daily. Our kids and I walked down the hill each morning to walk the beach or enjoy the local restaurants (with a steep climb home - Lol). Everything was exactly as stated and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. The extras such as beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, wagon, etc. were so appreciated. The various bedrooms, living spaces, and kitchen were super clean and well appointed and the front patio was a favorite gathering place. This was by far the best Airbnb experience that we’ve had…Lisa was a great communicator and all was just perfect. We hope to be back for sure!! We’d recommend Pipes and Shanty’s!

Cute little house that was better than the photos depicted. Quiet street, friendly neighborhood, close to the beach and to premium restaurants. The patio in the front and the relaxing garden in the back yard were competition for the beach. The best thing I can say about the house is that it was clean and comfortable and the plumbing was A-1. Galyn was nice to work with.

This airbnb was conveniently located and was as advertised. Place was clean and the check-in process was seamless. Would definitely check out other Wander locations in the future.

The home is beautiful, and we really appreciated easy communication with the host. Wonderful welcome guide, and the hot tub was such a delight to use at the end of the day. We are grateful for our time at this home and look forward to returning to Encinitas 🌺
