Waterfront holiday rentals in Erie County

This was a great place! Very clean and had everything we needed for cooking. Plenty of space for our family. Beds were comfortable. Great view of Cedar Point. Very safe and quiet.

The apartment is beautiful and well-stocked with all the essentials. Cooking oil, s&p, and great cookware! I appreciated the ease of check out- no heavy cleaning involved! Walking distance to 2-3 beaches, lighthouse, a beautiful park, and some really cool restaurants with outdoor seating over the water. Loved it here! Hosts were very nice and quick to respond. Beds were comfy and the back yard is super cute! You can see the lake from the front door. The whole neighborhood looks like a postcard. Beautiful gardens in every yard!

A cozy condo right on Portage river with a beautiful view. The home was very clean and looked exactly as pictured. My kids enjoyed the pool, the hot tub looked nice, though we did not try it. They have all the necessities at the condo (even the beach towels!), and the kitchen is well-equipped. Jeff & Kerri responded to all of our messages very quickly, and provided some great suggestions, they are super friendly hosts! The location is also great - just a short walk to Jet Express, Coffee Express, and Lake Erie. The Waterworks Park nearby was amazing for a picnic, bird watching, sunset on the lake, and the view of the lighthouse.

We absolutely loved this condo! It's a beautifully appointed space with a truly serene atmosphere and picturesque harbor views. If you're bringing a boat, the on-site docks are incredibly convenient. Just a heads-up: this unit is on the third floor and doesn't have an elevator. The pool looked sparkling and inviting, though it wasn't yet open for the season during our visit. The location is ideal, putting you right near all the best activities and dining options. Our only minor critique is that the bar and table stools were quite uncomfortable, making it difficult to truly relax and enjoy longer conversations or card games in that area.

This condo is special, with a million-dollar view of beautiful Lake Erie! The location could not be more perfect. This was our second stay here, and we plan on returning each summer. The space is cozy, comfortable, and well-maintained. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into the amenities, with a closet full of everything you would need for a beach or pool day with the kids. The four of us slept comfortably; the kids were in the bedroom, and my wife and I slept on one of the two pull-out beds in the living room. The place feels modern with a touch of lake luxury. The heated pool and private beach are a two-minute walk away. There are tons of shops and restaurants within a quick 5-to-10-minute walk. The grounds are clean and welcoming, and the people we encountered were very friendly. I very much enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets from the large, beautiful windows. I stayed in this exact cottage as a kid and into my teen years (before the back space with w/d and extra bathroom was added). It has since changed owners many times, but man, I wish Brian had had this property all along! Fantastically helpful, check in and check out was a breeze, the place is equipped for everything you need to have fun as a fam (bikes, tennis rackets, scooters, pickleball paddles ...), the space was super functional, and the location is *chef's kiss*. No notes! 10/10. I can't wait for 2026 availability to drop so we can book 423 Cherry again (for the 21st summer!!).

Scotts place was as advertised plus more. 5 adults were quite comfortable and you can’t beat the view. Location was great to get to our favorite Huron restaurants.

I would recommend the place to everyone. It was nothing but a pleasure to stay there. Oh, and the beds were awesome.

We loved this house. Very quiet, beautiful location. Close to Cedar Point for our older kids, but relaxing and beautiful retreat for us as parents.

We love our stay at the Golden Home! Exceeded our expectations in many ways. Having never been to Lakeside before we didn’t know what to expect, but I can’t imagine it getting much better than this rental. Good amount of space, ample places to sleep, convenient to everything in the community. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay! The space was spotless, smelled amazing, and was incredibly spacious and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location couldn’t have been better, with everything we needed close by. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth experience. Great place to return to after a long day at Cedar Point. The pool was relaxing and we enjoyed the ability to walk to most places for food, shopping and sightseeing.

This was the absolute perfect location, price and amenities we could have hoped for! LOVED that the beach, pool & playground was a 3min walk (with little kids!) Beach was small but perfect. Pool was amazing because of the odd design it allowed areas for “kids” to play and splash but also a big enough area for older folks to do laps and relax. Loved that the pool also had shallow part for kids to walk into / sit. Thank you for the Ice-Cream store recommendation - The Ice Shanty. Was VERY close , affordable and AMAZING! A must for the family. Jessica - thank you for opening your amazing home , a little home away from home. Was more than we could have hoped and expected. Kids LOVED waking up seeing the sunrise. We would absolutely love to visit here again!!

In Sandusky for sports tournaments or Cedar Point this is a great place to stay. Ultra clean, very comfortable, walking distance to restaurants, 5 minutes from Sports Force Park and just a very comfortable home away from home. We fished as well which was great away from the baseball field. When we are out the road for tournaments we like to eat (make) our own food to save money and eat healthy, kitchen worked out well. Again can’t stress enough the comfort factor and location!

Jennifer and her Airbnb condo was amazing. I stayed here for a girls trip for Cedar Point. She had so many things available to her guests inside like toothbrushes, hair products, feminine products, hair dryers, literally anything you would need! Jennifer is very responsive and caring, even willing to come over asap to fix a problem. I highly recommend, such a beautiful place.

Great, clean, modern space in a perfect location for Cedar Point or exploring Sandusky. Had a small hiccup at check in and David and Christine met us instantly to make it right. The only thing I will say is that there is a community stage right across from the lofts so if you are a light/early sleeper, you might run into some noise. There were two different concerts during our stay, each until about 10pm. Out of the control of the hosts but it is something to consider. Did not bother us and actually made one night quite fun as we got to go over and enjoy a free concert we would have otherwise not known about!

Our family enjoyed our stay here. There was so much space and it felt like home. Everything was clean and it was very well stocked with things you may have forgotten. The showers were small but we made it work. The beds were pretty comfortable, it was nice having a separate Master bedroom. It was close to Cedar Point and other attrcations, easy to get to. Overall really nice place to stay!

We had a great stay here. The condo was very comfortable and nicely decorated. It is right on the water and so close to Cedar Point. You can see the park easily and it looks beautiful all lit up at night. The spiral staircase to the loft was very fun for the kids, they loved going up there. Overall, a 5 star stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very comfortable and we left feeling rested and refreshed. We would absolutely stay here again! Erika was very prompt and clear with her communication and I really appreciated that.
