Bungalow holiday rentals in Espiritu Santo

The most beautiful spot right on the water, big homey villa, the photos don’t do it justice, it’s stunning. We liked that it was quiet, felt very private and out of town but close enough to pop in if you needed anything. We went kayaking and saw turtles, paddle boarding in the mornings and snorkelling right out the front door. Dennis couldn’t have been more helpful, booking us taxis, showing us the best snorkel spots, giving us medicine when my partner was unwell!..you’d be reading this review for days if I wrote everything he did for us. Thank you Dennis! We’d love to visit again, it was paradise.

Istvans property was by far the best value we received in vanuatu. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s very large, modern and well appointed. Russel who works on site was incredible and helped us organize activities. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here and we will definitely be staying again :)

Lovely place to stay. Quiet and peaceful in a beautiful setting. Stunning sunset and beautiful settings. Lovely bungalow with all you need.and tasteful Deco and a good bed with good pillows and good mattress... 👍 Unfortunately we had some stronger winds that made snorkelling not possible at high tide. However at low tide easy to get in. Beautiful gardens with many different seating areas, entertainment areas. Even a pizza oven. The local on site caretakers are very lovely. Aklid just puts a smile on your face... And she is ready to help with anything it seems... Easy going and super relaxing... Thanks again...

Our stay was absolutely unforgettable. The villa itself was incredible - beautifully appointed, breezy, and perfectly nestled right on the beach, with stunning views and a sense of total seclusion and privacy. It felt like our own private slice of paradise. Dennis was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our stay special. One of the highlights was the beach fire he set up for us one evening. He was also incredibly helpful when we had a flat tire, jumping in without hesitation to help us get back on the road! We loved exploring the bay on the stand-up paddleboards and going for a sunset kayak - the location couldn’t be better for enjoying the natural beauty of Santo. We truly didn’t want to leave and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

We were a family group of 6adults and 2 young children and this was the perfect setting. Gaelle and her staff were warm and welcoming and always available to help with queries. It was a lovely safe setting to let the children(18 mths and 4 yrs) play and explore. We made good use of the kayaks and had a wonderful morning exploring the Riri blue hole. The provided breakfast was more than sufficient and delicious. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils and some basic condiments were provided…a bit like a youth hostel where you leave what you don’t use for the next guest😀 I’d definitely recommend Gaelle’s retreat for a large group/family looking for a little slice of paradise.

Wow what a place! Viv's property is a true beachfront paradise. The cottage which is very cozy and comfortable is just steps from a beautiful beach, great snorkeling and the perfect little cabana for sunset drinks or mornin coffee while taking in the view. Viv was very helpful with everything and made out 3 days on Aore a wonderful experience. Akled and Tony (the caretakers) were just amazing too, from the moment we arrived they made us feel right at home and after fishing, cooking and drinking kava together we reall feel like we made some great friends! Viv's place is a must if you are planning a trip to Santo!

Janeth and Peter welcomed us into their family and showed us the most amazing time possible. The location and surrounds were pristine and almost dreamlike in quality. The village has a family atmosphere and is a beautiful thing to be apart of during your stay. The kids are happy and joyous which is super contagious. The coral reefs, only metres from the front door are sensational, the fishing is fantastic and the beaches offer true relaxation and privacy. This district is only recommended to those who can 'unplug' from the world happily, as it's quite isolated from communication (but it's possible if you need it), shops and night-life etc... But for those who seek some peace and tranquillity, it rivals any place on earth, my wife and I completely fell in love with the place and it's people and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Janeth and your beautiful family for an amazing stay which we will never forget.

Second stay Trish and Russel. This time just as lovely as the first. Very accommodating even with our last minute addition of an extra person they easily made it work. Anything you want to know, any help you need they’re more than happy to help. Beautifull gardens and well manicure lawn. With a great outdoor patio and snorkeling down on their beach it was hard to leave and go out for a look around the island. Planning the next trip And will be staying again. Thanks guys see you again soon.
