Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Esposende

This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

A casa é muito bonita e está de acordo com o anunciado. A localização é perfeita, muito perto de Caminha mas numa zona mais retirada rodeada de natureza. A Elisabete foi muito atenciosa e correu tudo muito bem, com muita flexibilidade da sua parte. Gostaria muito de voltar! É um lugar perfeito para descansar.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, encore un grand merci à Jorge. Tout était parfait, un havre de paix. Nous voulions des vacances reposantes et c’est exactement ce que propose cette maison. Les chevaux sont un vrai plus, c’était un plaisir d’aller les voir tous les jours. Le cadre est magnifique et la maison est très bien équipée, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Nous reviendrons dès que nous le pouvons !

Superbe villa, encore plus belle que sur les photos!! Endroit paisible et privé. Idéal pour un séjour en famille, nous enfants ont beaucoup apprécié. Hôte au top, professionnel, amical, très réactif. Je recommande à 1000%

It seems impossible to write something new about Maria and her wonderful place at the Douro River that has not been already commented and praised by previous guests. The 5-star review rating for Casa do Rio is very well earned: it is a piece of heaven, tucked away in the Douro Valley and Maria - and not to forget her husband, Jose (who does not get enough praise in other reviews) - are exceptional hosts. We stayed for 3 weeks, with a number of our friends coming to visit us for shorter stays. Maria accommodate all of our changing check-in and check-out needs without a glitch. We enjoyed taking advantage of the many activities and entertainment options - including massages by Hugo (a master of his craft) that the location provides. One thing to be aware of: There is no shopping option and limited restaurant choices available in walking distance, hence a car is almost a necessity for a longer stay.

Das kleine Haus ist ein wunderbarer Urlaubsort. Es ist sehr liebevoll und gleichzeitig praktisch eingerichtet. So hat man alles, was man braucht. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist großartig. Gut ist auch, dass es einen Kamin gibt, es kann doch ungemütlich kalt sein abends. Sehr praktisch fand ich den Wintergarten, er heizt sich tagsüber auf und man kann die Wärme für das Haus nutzen. Außerdem ist er die Verbindung von Haus zum Bad - sehr gut gelöst. Wir haben auch das Barbecue häufig benutzt, zumal es im Fischladen um die Ecke fangfrischen Fisch gibt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren eine Woche zu sechst in dem Haus und hatten eine fantastische Zeit! Leider war es draußen eher kalt und hat fast durchgängig nur geregnet, sodass wir die tolle Außenanlage mit Pool nur sehr wenig genutzt haben. Aber auch bei Regen kann man dort super entspannen: drinnen am Kamin auf der Couch, mit Gesellschaftsspielen am großen Esstisch, beim Billard oder Dart. Draußen bietet der überdachte Bereich am Steinofen und Grillplatz selbst bei Regen einen gemütlichen Ort, wir haben dort gegrillt, Pizza gebacken und zusammen Sport gemacht. Der Ausblick vom Pool und dem Steintisch oben ist mindestens so schön wie auf den Fotos, traumhaft! Die Betten sind super bequem, wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Nebenan bellen Hunde, daran haben wir uns aber schnell gewöhnt. Die Lage ist schon sehr weit vom Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt, mit Auto aber kein Problem. César war ein hervorragender Gastgeber, hat uns sogar nachts empfangen und war jederzeit erreichbar und super nett!

Ein ganz besonderes Häuschen an einem ganz besonderen Ort. Wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis. Ein echtes Fischerhäuschen mit fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Morgens kann man beobachten wie die Fischerboote ankommen. Die Einrichtung ist zwar schon etwas älter, aber alles ist sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Das Haus liegt direkt an der Straße, es ist aber kaum Verkehr, insbesondere vor dem Haus, weil es sich um eine schmale Einbahnstraße handelt. Wir konnten problemlos direkt beim Haus parken. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig man hört nichts bis auf das Meer . Direkt nebenan ist ein gutes Restaurant, in dem man sehr leckeren Fisch essen kann . Der Camino führt direkt am Haus vorbei, ansonsten gibt es hier praktisch keinen Tourismus. Es fühlt sich an wie das echte Portugal! Es gibt zwei Badezimmer, ein großes Wohnzimmer und eine voll ausgestattete Küche, so dass man auch zu viert hier gut wohnen kann. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und empfehlen dieses tolle Erlebnis unbedingt weiter !

We really enjoyed staying in Sousas apartment. Nice and clean. Big bedroom and bathroom with a super nice shower. Everything was new and the elevator right into the apartment was a nice feature. We liked the neighbourhood with supercool restaurants close by and most sights in easy walking distance. Thank you for hosting us.

Nuno war ein überaus freundlicher, sehr sympathischer Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und das Zentrum fußläufig gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und hat Charme. Das war rundum eine schöne Sache. Danke !! 🙏

The apartment was spotlessly clean, with modern and newly furnished interiors. The location was excellent — close to everything, and there was a great supermarket just around the corner. The internet was super fast, which was a big plus. It would have been even better with an elevator, but hey, you’re in the land of hills after all! :) All in all, a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Felt like living in the middle of Porto. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. Nice apartment and very at home feel. We were there when Portugal won euro finals so very noisy from the bars outside, but thats to be expected! Lovely apartment

O apartamento é lindo, vista linda, bem decorado, limpo, com todos utensílios domésticos, roupas de cama impecáveis, valeu muito a pena nos hospedarmos lá.

we had a wonderful stay at Maria’s apartment! the views from the living room and garden were incredible and we were so close to many great restaurants, shops, bars, and tourist attractions. the host was able to accommodate a slightly early check in and we met at the apartment to pick up the keys and be shown around the building. we were also given a map with some recommendations and directions to the event we were in town for. the garden area is shared between all 4 units in the building. i believe the hosts family is two units and the other two are rentals. it was a little rainy during our stay so we only went out to the garden a couple times but it was very pleasant out there and we got to meet the host’s dog! everything in the apartment was great and we felt right at home for our 5 nights in porto. would highly recommend staying here!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und entspannten Aufenthalt bei Marília. Sie hat uns persönlich zur Ankunft und Abreise begrüßt und verabschiedet. Das Haus ist toll eingerichtet und der schöne Pool lädt zum entspannen ein. Der Ausblick in die Berge ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unsere beiden Hunde auch :-) Eine absolute Empfehlung !!!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this stay, but it became one of our favorites in our 15-day trip! The pictures do not do it justice! The grounds are breathtaking and we felt right at home. This is the perfect setting for a rural Portugal retreat. I need the house is the perfect combination of old and new! Would recommend 100%!

We had a fantastic time in Porto. The house was in an excellent location - right next to the metro - and easy to travel in and out of Porto. We enjoyed using the pool, garden and hot tub and eating our breakfast on the stone table under the vines! All in all it was a fabulous house and we had a wonderful time celebrating our 50th birthdays!

Fantastic stay at Ricardo's villa! Beautiful pool and villa setup in an incredibly secluded part of the countryside. We went as a group of eight in our late twenties - we didn't have a car so Ricardo organised a taxi for us to get around that was incredibly helpful, including to get down into the village to visit the INCREDIBLE Tasquinha do Tio Miguel! We will be back! Xxx

Casa ampla, arejada, clara, confortável, bem suprida e sortida de utensílios de cozinha, material de limpeza e aparelhos domésticos, tudo de acordo com o anúncio e as fotos. Ótima piscina com acessórios flutuantes. Local retirado e tranquilo, mas com fácil acesso a várias cidades e praias. Atendimento e simpatia da Carla e sua família nota 10. Super recomendo!

Staying at Quinta dos Moinhos was truly a dream come true for us. Not only was it the perfect setting for our wedding, but the property and the views were simply unforgettable. The home is absolutely stunning and one of a kind, nestled in a peaceful and picturesque location, with breathtaking views and a rich family history. Every detail of the home is filled with character, and you can feel the care and pride that has gone into preserving the home and the surrounding nature. Diogo was an exceptional host - warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. He even hopped on a Facetime call so we could see the property firsthand and feel more confident about our decision! Diogo is just a genuinely kind person, and from the moment we arrived he made us feel completely at ease. His hospitality and kindness were especially meaningful during such a special time in our lives. We couldn’t ask for a more special place to celebrate, and we are already looking forward to the day we can return!

What an incredible place the house is located in. views are exceptional and the valley is so peaceful. Sitting out in the evening as dusk falls the total silence is a sensory experience. Spent a week here and loved every minute of it.

It was an outstanding stay! A lot of space, everything what you need is provided. Peace, nature, sparking clear river. Dream house!
