Holiday rentals with breakfast in Essex

I had a wonderful stay at this flat. It is located in a quiet area, clean, comfortable and close to amenities.

Lovely loft space that has everything you need. Gorgeous views, place very clean and nice touches of eggs, milk, bread and fruit for breakfast. Plus towels and a bowl for our our dog with some treats. Amanda was very welcoming and friendly.

We had a lovely few days at this great house with lots of space for the family. It is perfectly located near public transport and getting into London and walking into the local town. A fantastic stay!

Melissa has been THE most accomodating host. Flexible and wonderful. The house is beautiful and very clean. I can’t reccomend highly enough

Mistley is a charming village (town?) and there is a view down towards the quay. The house faces the Green and it is a quintessential English village scene with the occasional local walking by. There is a pub down the lane which is very convenient. The house is beautifully appointed with every convenience thoughtfully supplied. The decor is vintage charm, and extremely cosy. I will definitely be back to explore the area further and this very much feels like a home from home. Thank you!

John was a great host - super communicative (even on his holiday!) and his home was an ideal space for me and my family for 10 nights. We didn't get to use the outside space thanks to the English Summer weather, but we made use of the great location being close to restaurants, the seafront, and of course the amusements! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, met with friends, easy for taxi drivers to find their way. Enjoyed the walks around the area, Newhall feels you are living in the countryside with all the greenery surrounding the area. Very pleasant area.

Really enjoyed my stay , both Rachel and Marilyn very helpful and responsive to messages. It was an ideal location personally for me visiting relatives . Very comfortable bed. Lovely to have some provisions for breakfast especially the homemade marmalade . It was good to meet Marilyn the owner who made me feel very welcome.

A descent place, free street parking and perfect for those who aren’t going that much in to the city centre. Close to Elizabeth line (with bus), which makes it easy to come from anywhere. There’s also a few local pubs and restaurants in near vicinity only requiring five minutes by car. The flat it self were also just what we needed. It were tidy and nice, with all facilities one needs.

Lesley's home was very conveniently located near where our business meetings are as well as all the shops and restaurants that we needed on the 5 days we spent in Chelmsford. Her home is pristine and the room where we stayed is very restful. Lesley is a brilliant host, getting out of her way to provide us with one of the best service we've had in an AirBNB stay and we have been in quite a few. We would certainly love to come back next time we have events in the area. Thank you very much for hosting us, Lesley! We're praying you more success in your AirBNB business.

My pre-teen boys & I stayed one night with my mum for a quick half-term reunion. It was peaceful, and lovely that the boys could safely run around outside and see the donkeys. Margaret provided food for breakfast and five single beds for us. We really appreciated the fan overnight as it was pretty warm. It was all very easy and we had a good stay. The pub opposite was pleasant and we also got to see (and help) a canal boat go through Spellbrook Lock, much to the boys' enjoyment!

Elaine and her husband Ted, were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable space. She went out of her way to provide special breakfast foods for us

Larissa’s cottage is in a dreamy idyllic setting and beautiful. I had a wonderful stay there for a few days where I was able to slow down, recharge and gain inspiration for my travels back home to the hustle and bustle of the city. Larissa is a very sweet lady who is super helpful, makes great company and made me feel super at home. Hope to visit back again! It’s in the middle of the countryside but I was able to get Uber’s without a problem and also used “elephant cars” taxi service who operate in the area.

A very pleasant stay at Jane's, my friend and I were made welcome, offered tea/coffee etc. Had some good conversation too. Would happily stay again.

Nasreen was very warm and welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with her while she was showing us around. The room was spacious and very clean making our stay extra comfortable. In the morning she even offered us some sandwiches to take with us to the airport. Truly a thoughtful and kind host!

Amazing short stay at Verna’s place whilst away on business. Will definitely stay again in the near future. The room was really restful, great amenities, and off street parking was a bonus. Highly recommend!
