Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Estreito da Calheta

L’appartement était très propre, avec tout le matériel nécessaire mis à notre disposition pour passer un agréable séjour. Extrêmement bien représentatif à l’annonce il est un peu humide comme annoncé précédemment par d’autres voyageurs. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil chaleureux et la disponibilité de Luis tout au long de notre séjour. La seule remarque que nous souhaitons formuler concerne la literie, que nous avons trouvée un peu moins confortable que ce à quoi nous sommes habitués. Cela n’a en rien gâché notre séjour, mais nous nous permettons de le signaler dans un esprit constructif. Encore merci pour tout. Ce fut une belle expérience, et nous recommanderons volontiers votre logement.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen! Sie war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und der Ausblick auf die Berge war fantastisch. Auch der Parkplatz direkt am Haus war sehr praktisch. Mariana war eine sehr herzliche und freundliche Gastgeberin. Bei unserer Ankunft standen köstliches Gebäck und frisches Obst für uns bereit, eine wirklich schöne Geste. Außerdem finden sich überall in der Unterkunft liebevoll gestaltete, kleine Zettel mit positiven und persönlichen Botschaften, was dem Aufenthalt eine besonders charmante Note verleiht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!

We hadden een prachtig uitzicht vanuit het huis op de omgeving en de oceaan. De voortuin was wat klein voor onze groep, maar was prettig om in te zijn. We waren niet op de hoogte van onze bovenburen, terwijl de woning behoorlijk gehorig is. Er waren voldoende ruimtes met goede bedden en sanitair. De omgeving is heel mooi. Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad.

Fantastic place at a great price. So many spaces to enjoy. Pristine condition. We really enjoyed the local restaurants and bars up the hill, amazing atmosphere. Very close to main roads so day trips are easy. Carlos was the perfect host, so many local recommendations and information. He was flexible when we wanted to check in some hours earlier than agreed. All the different keys were a bit confusing but otherwise loved the place.

Beautiful house. The driveway is easy to miss if you're not paying close attention the first time. Well equipped kitchen. Next to a walking trail by the sea. Well situated to drive to other attractions around the island. Fanal forest, P Moniz, Santana, PR16, were not far away.

Pedro war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Er gab uns auch einige gute Tipps. Das einzige was wir ein bisschen kritisieren müssen, ist die Möblierung. Manche Möbelstücke sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Diese gehören unserer Meinung nach mal ausgetauscht.

Das Haus Nobrega war wirklich wunderschön!! So liebevoll eingerichtet und die Lage und Aussicht ist ein absoluter Traum. Top ausgestattet und super Kommunikation mit Bernice und Simon. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen ☺️

Schöne Unterkunft mit einer tollen Aussicht über die ganze Bucht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, es gab Empfehlungen für Ausflüge und Restaurants, alles Wichtige konnte später noch in einer Mappe nachgelesen werden. Außerdem gab es einen Willkommensgruß aus Wein, Keksen und Eiern aus dem Garten. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen, ein Mietwagen ist zu empfehlen. Es gibt einen kleinen Parkplatz am Ende der Straße und zum Eingang der Wohnung gibt es eine Treppe. In der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt, dort kann man auch zu Fuß hin. Insgesamt sind alle Straßen in der Umgebung ziemlich steil, daran haben wir uns aber nach wenigen Tagen gewöhnt. Bei der Ankunft war die Wohnung sehr ordentlich. Man muss aber sehr auf Sauberkeit achten, sonst kommen schnell Ameisen, das ist in der Region aber wohl normal. Alle Utensilien zur Reinigung waren vorhanden. Zum Ausspannen nach den Ausflügen ist die Wohnung ideal, besonders mit dem kleinen Garten. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

es war ein wirklich sehr schönes großes haus mit einem paradisischem Balkon und einen herrlichen Ausblick über das ganze Dorf auf knappen 300 höhenmeter. Auto muss man ganz klar besitzen,sonst könnte es problematisch sein. kalt wird es tatsächlich nachts und morgens auch, aber dafür gibt es immerhin mobile heizgeräte in der wohnung. Kakerlaken sind uns leider auch beim direkten Bezug aufgefallen, nachdem wir jedoch 5 stück beseitigt hatten, haben wir kein Problem mehr damit gehabt

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Ivone et Garry. L’appartement dispose d’une vue incroyable sur la mer et tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter pour un prochain séjour à Madère !

Quiet, comfortable Airbnb with everything we needed for our stay - located in the most surreal surroundings. Will struggle to find better in this part of Madeira. The terrace is an absolute gem - highly recommend

Really nice place in a great location. It was clean, had all the necessary amenities, and the hosts were super friendly and supportive throughout our stay. The only minor downsides were that it was a bit tricky to find at first, and the shower temperature fluctuated a bit. Nothing major though—overall, a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend!

The hosts were super responsive and amazingly offered us an earlier check-in time as their cleaning had finished earlier that day. The place was spotless and well stocked with everything you'd need to feel at home and having a dishwasher & washing/drying facilities made things feel so relaxed and the BBQ & hot tube was great to have for the evenings. The view was beautiful, and the house was a perfect size and location for a little romantic getaway. It isn't a long journey to get to areas like Funchal or Porto Monis, and there's a large number of PR walks nearby, too.

If you are going to stay in Madeira , this is one of the nicest places you can stay in. The setting of this home is beautiful, and is located in a very pretty town with some great choices of restaurants and bars. The terrace has a stunning view and the kitchen space has everything you need for cooking should you want to do that. Bed is really comfy after days of exploring. We managed to park in the car park in the town every day - feels a hire car is a great asset in Madeira. Alessio is extremely friendly and makes you feel right at home when you arrive.

Our stay at this stunning penthouse in Madeira was truly unforgettable. After a stressful experience with a different host, we were in desperate need of a safe and welcoming place—and Jose went above and beyond. Not only was the apartment impeccable with absolutely breathtaking views of the ocean and city, but the host was also incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. He allowed us to check in immediately after booking, which was a lifesaver for our family. We were greeted with warmth and kindness that instantly put us at ease and turned our trip around. The penthouse itself is spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, and offers one of the best views you can imagine of the ocean. We can’t thank the host enough for their hospitality. Highly, highly recommend this place—it truly felt like a hidden gem and a peaceful escape. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great location for exploring Madeira. Very handy for the airport and going in to Funchal for dinner. Villa clean and well equipped with good pool area and fantastic views.

Nos hôtes, Jeanne et Cristiano, nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux, avec des produits locaux à notre arrivée ! La maison est très bien située sur les hauteurs de Funchal, avec une vue incroyable sur l'océan (y compris depuis la douche italienne !). La piscine était très agréable (étant frileux, nous avons choisi de la chauffer), la cuisine parfaitement équipée, les chambres très spacieuses et confortables .... Nous avons aussi aimé la déco, les livres (notamment la collection de guides sur Madère en français !)... Tout était parfait, nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Mários Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben und entsprach vollständig den Fotos – in Wirklichkeit war sie sogar noch schöner! Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten, mit zwei komfortablen Schlafzimmern und zwei modernen, sehr sauberen Bädern – ideal für zwei Paare oder eine Familie. Wir wurden herzlich bei der Ankunft mit kleinen leckeren Überraschungen empfangen, alles war perfekt vorbereitet und blitzsauber. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die traumhafte Aussicht, die man von der Terrasse und dem Wohnbereich genießen kann – ein echtes Highlight! Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen: gut ausgestattete Küche, bequeme Betten und ruhige Lage. Wir haben jeden Moment genossen und würden ohne zu Zögern wiederkommen. Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Ubytovanie zodpovedalo fotkám, ubytujúci bol pristeľský a poskytol nám veľa odporúčaní, po príchode nás čakalo lokálne ovocie a víno ako pozornosť a taktiež zelenina z ich farmy. Odporúčam

The place is very clean and well equipped and the views are amazing. We’ve just spent a lovely 8 days here walking. The accommodation is so nice we didn’t feel that we wanted to go out after our walks, we just relaxed and really enjoyed the views and peace and quiet. Eva is very friendly and helpful and this place is great! It is possible to walk to restaurants from here if you want, but you’ll definitely need a car to explore further.

The Chateau was exactly as described on AirBnb. With top end appliances, Miele and SMEG and more. The gardens were lush, extensive and private with much birdsong. It’s a 5 Star from us both and we highly recommended it especially for hiking. We did many long walks from home. Richard and Martine were perfect host, very attentive and helpful. We could not have asked for more. Thank you and hope to visit again one day. Lizzie & Lester.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! Everything was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The view was absolutely stunning, and the pool quickly became one of our favorite features. It truly felt like a home away from home. Communication with the hosts was smooth and pleasant throughout. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway!

Amazing location, Villa and View! All kept to a very high standard. If you are above 6ft just watch out for some of the chandeliers!
