Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Eureka

The house was a relaxing retreat for our family after long days hiking in the redwoods. Amazing location with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The beds were so comfortable, we wanted to write down the information to purchase them for our house! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. We had great intentions to soak in the hot tub, but spent our evenings playing ping pong instead. It's good to have so many options. 😊 The backyard was also really nice, and we felt safe in the area.

Amy’s place was great - a recommended stay! The beds were comfy. The decor was charming. There are windows throughout, so nice natural light but curtains for privacy in the evening. The home is on a main street in town but we did not notice any car noise at night. And its location close to the town plaza and campus made it walkable to restaurants, coffee, bars, groceries, and shopping. The home was well-stocked with all the kitchen cooking tools and other small items you’d expect.

This was the perfect place for a small group! Two of my friends and I (all from different parts of the country) flew in to Arcata to visit another mutual friend of ours (who happens to live two blocks from this house!). This home comfortably accommodated three adults in the three bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and sharing meals - they even left some basic foods in the fridge and cabinet for us! Overall, we had an amazing time staying at Amber’s place!

This is an unusually lovely property, home and location. The space is equipped with everything we ever thought of needing. It is attractively decorated and comfortable. Full kitchen for cooking. Incredibly beautiful and peaceful landscaping. We fell in love with the sauna and outdoor shower. That and the comfort of the bed helped us sleep really well. We stayed four nights and could have stayed longer with so many beautiful wild places to explore.

Absolutely lovely stay amongst the beautiful redwoods! House has everything one can need for an extended vacation. Extremely comfortable home in a safe neighborhood close to everything. Amber is an excellent host who is available for any concerns.

Pilot Rock Cottage was a perfect destination and Steve was a wonderful host! The cottage was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable. Terrific view of Trinidad Bay from the front windows and porch! Walking distance to restaurants and hiking trails. Easy launching point to visit other attractions in the area. We would love to stay there again!

Wonderful, private and quiet space. Appreciated the designated off-street parking and easy entry access. Walkable to downtown Arcata with fantastic restaurants, grocery stores and entertainment. Definitely plan to visit again in the future!

What a terrific find in the heart of Arcata. So close to the Plaza and great restaurants. Fabulous accommodations!!

Sally’s place is the perfect place for a couple or family stay. She went above and beyond to make sure our family was comfortable. She even coordinated an extra pack’n’play for our sweet twins. The place was clean, well-stocked, and in a private (gated) community. We would love to rent here again. Thanks for the wonderful stay, Sally!

Highly recommend staying here, the space had everything we needed and more. The instructions were easy to follow and we found the spot easily and were able to get in with no problems and Tia kept in touch and was available if we needed anything. Had no issues with parking, always found a space. Great location, was able to easily drive everywhere we wanted to see and also go for some nice walks downtown and on the waterfront. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Howard's place in Eureka was very clean and comfortable. The location was good - walkable to old town and the waterfront. Howard also was very helpful with recommendations on local events and places to visit. There was a nice big tv to enjoy in the evening, the kitchen was equipped and there was a nice little deck area outside. Bed was comfortable and everything sparkling clean. I would stay here again!

Large space in a shared home. Bob and Melissa were super friendly and made us feel at home.

Studio has lots of character and a very charming eclectic vibe. The sunroom was definitely a great place to relax, I enjoy sitting in the chaise lounge reading while watching the ocean. I slept great in the bed, there was lots of pillows to choose from and the bed was comfy. Kitchen area has many amenities including a gas oven, and full refrigerator which was nice! Studio is a converted basement that’s attached to the garage. Upstairs is another Airbnb that can host several people including dogs. Thankfully the people and doggies upstairs quieted down from 11pm to 6am. The bathroom area is unique, has a locked door that leads to garage and another door that leads to outside. Also if the people upstairs have the heat on it heats downstairs too, which was great when I was there because it took the edge off the early spring ocean chill. Would be a great place to stay for several days.

This is a unique property. The main room was a scouts hall, so it’s a big, playful space. In another life, this would be my dream house! Excellent location for getting into town. Quiet, walkable neighborhood. Loved the super fluffy towels and bedding. Comfy bed, too. The spotless kitchen is a big plus. Recommended!
