AURA Retreat Iceland - LOGN cabin

What a place. As a fan of tiny homes, this one was up there. Amazing view, sauna, hot tub, beautiful inside. Nothing more you need. Anna the host is awesome as well. Super nice and helpful. Really fast to respond and offered me an extended check out without even asking. Can’t recommend this place enough. Will be back again. %100

Front Lake A-frame Cabin with extra hut.

KirkRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at this secluded cabin in Skorradalshreppur. The location is incredibly peaceful and private—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the sauna, which was clean, spacious, and had a great view. We also loved having direct access to the lake, which made for some memorable mornings and evenings. Communication with the owner was smooth and responsive throughout the entire stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet retreat in nature with great amenities!

Fjörukot

Guðfinna’s place was the only one where we stayed two nights on our Iceland trip, and it was so worth it. The surroundings included horses, sheep, birds, and great views. The house itself was private and had everything one could ask for. In addition, Guðfinna and her daughter were friendly on all occasions during our stay.

Esjuberg Farm-Sleep with horses & mountain hike

Wow! what a beautiful villa to stay in. Absolutely pristine. Felt like a hotel but with everything you need to make your own food. Bonus to have a Dishwasher and Washer Drier too. Viktor made the stay easy and accessible without any problems. The shower was heavenly and powerful. I cannot fault anything. We would love to bring the family back here next time. And yes the horses were so friendly and let us stroke them. Amazing experience. Thank you so much xxx

Bjartakot

Giedre's place was a perfect spot for us and our 2 kids. The location is about an hour from Reykjavik and very close to Glymer waterfall hike and Hvammsvik Hot Springs. Everything was on the first level, with the exception of 2 twin beds on 2nd level loft. Kitchen is well appointed so would suggest picking up groceries and making a meal. There is a lovely deck and table for 4 that over looks the ocean bay. Plenty of linens and a comfortable chair and couch to relax on after a day of exploring. We visited in June where there is 24 hours of daylight, so I would recommend bringing eye masks if people will be sleeping in the 2nd floor loft as there are a few windows in the vaulted ceiling that are not covered. Once the hotub is up and running this place will be perfection - definitely recommend - and hope to stay again on our next visit.
