Traditional country house of São Jorge Island, built 100 years ago by our great-grandparents,was at that time a small house and haystack,where they kept the animals that worked in the farm. It is located a few meters from the sea in an absolutely quiet location. The surrounding area is great for sightseeing, hiking, and bathing in the sea. About 4 km to the North, from the city of Horta, is Praia do Almoxarife. In the space " the grind" there is life in every corner, in the garden there is a water cistern and a threshing floor. It has a traditional moth architecture that dates back to the beginning of the last century. N'a grinding is a philosophy based on the traditional and sustainable. It consists of: apartment, garden, craft atelier, farm with animals, horticultural, fruit and seeds of traditional varieties.

The cozy rooms provide rest and silence, which at dusk is sometimes interrupted by the fascinating song of the gulls.
