Mountain Cabin in Sulitjelma

Bring the whole family to this beautiful and spacious cabin. Great place to use all year round, located by a downhill slope and freshly prepared ski slopes right outside the door. In autumn, there are incredible hunting and fishing opportunities. There are many different terrains and style trails for biking right next to it. Sulitjelma has an exciting history and a lot to explore. If you want to use the cabin as a starting point for longer trips, there are many cabins from hunters and fishermen, as well as DNT in the area, or a short trip to local gapahuker.

Great cottage yard in relaxing surroundings with stunning views of fjords and mountains. Nice hiking trails right from the cabin door, and with 5-20 min by car you will find both sandy beach, fantastic ski slopes and a variety of mountain peaks in magnificent nature. There are very good sun conditions on the plot, and with little light pollution in the area there are great chances to see the northern lights in winter. From the parking lot at RV80 there is about 900 m to walk along the footpath and forest road in small natural terrain.

Relax with the whole family in this little oasis. Short distance from the city (Bodø) with great opportunities for hiking, fishing or just enjoying the views and observing the wildlife. Good with space for children, with amazing climbing trees and several natural playgrounds. There is electricity and summer water, urinal and incineration toilet. Drinking water is to be brought, but we make sure that there are several liters available upon arrival. However, please note that there is no shower here. Parking a short walk from the cabin.

We have NORTHERN LIGHTS on clear winter nights (from September to March) and normally a lot of snow in winter! The house is centrally located about 1 km from the store/train and bus/dining place, but at the same time there are countless hiking areas both on foot and on skis in the nearby area. Huset ligger ved foten av Kvalhornet, Nattmålstuva og Rundfjellet, omkranset av Sjunkhatten Nasjonalpark. Beliggenhet: Huset ligger i Bringsli som er 8,3 km lengre inn i dalen fra Straumsnes som er sentrum i Valnesfjord. Der finnes blandt annet matbutikk og bistro. Det tar 40 minutter å kjøre til Bodø, 40 minutter til Saltstraumen og 20 minutter til Fauske.

The house is located in quiet surroundings. Halsgården was built in 1849, but has been carefully renovated by current owners. The result is a charming house where many of the original details are preserved, and you as a guest get a good night's sleep with a historical feel. Great hiking opportunities nearby!

The mountain cabin "Sletn" is located in Sjunkhatten National Park and gives you a unique opportunity to experience the silence, relax or explore the fishing waters and mountain areas around you, summer and winter. There is a short walk, but it is worth the 25-45 minute trip.
