Cabin holiday rentals in Fayette County

"Almost Heaven" lived up to its name! We would leave a 10-star rating if we could. Gary and Julie were excellent hosts, communicated extremely well and always available if we needed anything. The place is adorable and was stocked with many items to make our stay comfortable -- they even provided us breakfast foods, coffee and snacks to get us going! It was so much fun to stay in this historic cabin right across from the River Gorge National Park and a block from one of the best hiking trails in the park. We also loved the jacuzzi after a long day of hiking. Private and beautiful location and still just short 10 minute drive from restaurants, grocery stores and other other "city" needs. Absolutely one of THE BEST Airbnbs we have ever stayed at and we highly recommend "Almost Heaven".

Wonderful property that is secluded but also has lots of space. The fire pit and hot tub were great for spending time outside, and it's super close to the national park.

The chalet was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing and we had everything we needed. Great place to relax or enjoy nearby activities. 100% recommend! Was not overly price and well worth what we payed for a relaxing weekend which was exactly what we was looking for. Michael was simple, kind, and gave directions that was easy to find the location of our destination. We will be back again. Thank you so much for a nice affordable well worth getaway!

The first thing we noticed upon entering Papaw’s cabin was the cleanliness and freshness of the cabin. The location was convenient to the NRG area yet also was a private retreat. We enjoyed the hot tub and stargazing. Thank you Kristi for being a great host.

Kevin’s place was perfect for a weekend get away at the New River Gorge. His house is in perfect proximity to both Summerville lake and the national park. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We loved this place! It was close to everything but really felt secluded, so peaceful and quiet and with the lovely sound of the creek outside! Loved soaking in the hot tub watching the fireflies everywhere! The cabin was so clean, the bed very comfortable, and they thought of everything- extra toothbrushes, toiletries, teas and snacks...anything you miht need. Host very responsive too! We would definitely stay here again.

Darien was super helpful by providing clear instructions and being very responsive. The cabin made our family feel at home by having comfortable bedrooms, spacious social areas, and a variety of entertainment options. Our favorite part coming back from the day’s adventures was winding down at a campfire and playing fetch with the neighborhood dog, Bear. Everything was fantastic and if you are looking for a cozy place to stay nested in the woods, this is the place for you.

We loved our stay here to explore Summersville Lake! Sarah put a lot of attention and detail to the decor in the space. We loved the extra amenities like the hot tub and washer/dryer. We would definitely stay here again!

It’s a perfect place for a vacation of hiking and rafting. We used it as a respite on the halfway point heading home from a southern vacation. It was comfortable, super clean and a supremely well equipped kitchen. There’s a nice neighborhood bar and grill a stones throw away.

We drove in from Texas to visit with family from the Sissonville/Nitro area! We enjoyed just sitting on the porch & catching up. We did take a day to sight see at Hawks Nest & Bridge! The cabin had everything we needed for our little family get together! And the lighting bugs at night was something neat! Thanks for an awesome stay!!!

This was my first experience with air b&b or anything like it. Mark communicated every detail throughout the process. The house was beautiful and we were able to disconnect from life as a family. What an amazing experience. We love the area and will return!

Roger’s place was just what we needed for our trip. It’s so close to almost everything. I do recommend this for couple or 2-3 people comfortably. We’d come back here again if available!

We loved our stay and will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Everything was exactly like the pictures. It was in close proximity to New River Gorge National Park and the hot tub was phenomenal after a long day of hiking. It was quiet and private and the stars were beautiful at night. Rustic but comfortable, nestled in one of the RV loops of the campground. Loved having a fire in the fire ring both evenings with wood purchased at camp office.

We’ve stayed at several places over the years and this is by far our favorite! So spacious, clean, beautiful, and stocked with everything we needed. Jason was a responsive and kind host from booking to check out. Comfy beds. Great location! Close to the national park and several great restaurants, yet still felt private, peaceful, and quiet. Highly recommend and would stay here again without question!

This “Cozy Cabin” was secluded and private in the hills of West Virginia! This quaint cabin is located down a private lane surrounded by beautiful scenery, tall trees, a welcoming front porch! We enjoyed the numerous amenities like the grill, sauna, outdoor tub, and great s’mores on the fire-pit. This cabin has everything you need for cooking and plenty of blankets and towels! So impressed with this cabin and the games provided for a rainy day or late night. This cabin is so close to restaurants and hiking trails. The cabin exceeded or expectations and would stay again!!!

Bobby was a great host, and he was an expert resource regarding local river adventures! Place was perfect for our group of whitewater kayakers!

We needed a cheap place to pass 2 nights and Ann's place is exactly what we needed. Good value for money. Recommended!

The host was very responsive and accommodating with our request for an earlier arrival time. The house is quaint. It’s an old home, which comes with its own pros and cons, but it was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. The bed was really comfy. The house is private, though neighbors are still fairly close. There’s a great yard to walk the dogs. But the thing we loved the very best was the location. It’s SO close to the New River Gorge National Park. You can’t ask for a better location to enjoy the park. We would definitely return to this house, should we ever be back in the area.

This was a perfect spot for 3 couples to have their own space yet have space to spend time all together as well. We really enjoyed playing Shuffleboard and sitting outside listening to the sound of the creek out back. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
