Beachfront holiday rentals in Fingal

Loved staying in Monique’s home. It was beautiful, clean and so close to the beach. It was a family friendly home suitable for teenagers and toddlers. Monique communicated with me throughout our stay and had a hand list of restaurants and places to visit. She lent us dry robes for sea swims and family games for game nights. I would absolutely stay here again.

From start to finish Niamh made herself available for advice or help. A beautiful property in a beautiful location. The local restaurants were awesome and easily walkable. Great public transport into Dublin or other towns. We can't recommend this place enough.

We wanted to stay somewhere a little special for our trip to Ireland and the Boathouse did not disappoint. We loved how unique the property was, the significance of its location (at the mouth of the Boyne…so significant to Ireland’s mythology and folklore), and the walk ability to the Irish Sea. Eldon was a very responsive and attentive host, checking in on messages sent in a timely manner and ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. The neighbours were lovely and we enjoyed meeting all the local dog walkers on their way to the beach. Very quiet at night and a close drive to Dublin, NewGrange, and the central historical sites of Ireland. All the modern amenities in a historic house made it pleasant 5 Star stay! We hope to be back someday!

Loved staying here. An absolute haven. So close to the beach (with private walkway) and all amenities. The cottage was perfect. The house was spotless and had everything I needed. The bed was soooo comfortable. Can't wait to go back. Ruth

From the very start the communication was excellent. Clear instructions about everything. On arrival we were delighted the place was beautiful. Lovely big bed, comfy sofa and luxurious bathroom and most basics provided. Right on the beach with a gate down to. Felt like having your own private beach! We loved sitting on the patio looking at the sea. BBQ and all equipment for was provided on request and Jason even tried to rescue us from a sudden rain shower with a parasol. Kayaks and life jackets on site but we were too lazy to use in the end but hope to next time. Pretty town within walking distance and other picturesque towns within driving distance. Mary and Jason work hard to ensure everyone is well looked after without being invasive. Thanks so much for making our well needed break so relaxing. I recommend to anyone for a chilled experience.

We had such a lovely stay at Mary & Jason’s place in Rush! Beautiful scenery, right on the beach. Went for a walk every morning. Mary gave us great recommendations for food and drinks (salty blonde does amazing coffee!). Overall wonderful, beautiful place & lovely owners. Thanks so much :)

John’s apartment was perfect for our three adults. We loved the location - great food and coffee and pubs within quick walking distance. The view of the water and the promenade for walking and biking is just great and you can even swim across the street, if cold water is your thing. Highly recommended.

Stephen was a great host. I used him to house a number of employees for a month-long period and he was very kind to accommodate our request to house them a few days earlier than he had been planning to make his home available. The house is very spacious, has a lovely view of the sea, and is a 30-second walk to the beach. Stephen was always available if we had any questions throughout the stay.

We were so lucky to find such an absolutely amazing place to stay and visit! The apartment was superb, the town was so friendly and the food was spectacular! We loved it all and the hosts were the cherry on top! We can hardly wait to visit again!

Kyran was really easy to communicate with. He gave us very clear timely instructions. When I asked for restaurant recommendations, he responded quickly with several options. The area is beautiful! The apartment has beautiful views! I just wish we could have stayed longer.

I can’t even say enough good things about Caroline and Alan and their beautiful home! They were so welcoming,left a basket full of amazing Irish snacks and were always available to answer any questions and recommend local sights to see. Alan even brought us fans when the temperature hit 80 which was rare for Ireland! The home is absolutely spectacular! I miss it already! The views of the Irish Sea out all of the front rooms, and the Wicklow mountains in the back! The beds are super comfortable and the artwork is gorgeous in every room! This is one of my favorite stays in Europe! I can’t wait to come back. Alan and Caroline- thank you! I know we would be best of friends if we lived in Ireland. Thank you for your amazing hospitality. Arrived late, check-in was very easy thanks to the key boxes. We booked the 2 apartments, refurbished, atypical, and tastefully decorated. We woke up with a great view of the sea! I would recommend it 100%.

My family of six stayed in this home perched on a cliff above the sea. The views from the deck off the kitchen were breathtaking, offering us a panoramic vistas. It was calm and relaxing and just what our family needed. The house was spacious, allowing us to spread out comfortably. Despite the allure of the TV, we never felt the need to turn it on, preferring instead to soak in the surroundings. Our kids were thrilled with the outdoor amenities. The trampoline in the front yard was a big hit, and they spent hours playing on the zipline in the back yard. The internet worked well in most rooms, which was a plus for down time and a few unfortunate work calls we needed to take. The location was ideal. The DART station was just a 20-minute walk away, making it easy to explore the area. We also enjoyed walking into Howth, either via footpaths and sidewalks or along the beach during low tide. Our stay was fantastic, I highly recommend this property!

We booked our stay for the 2024 New Year holiday weekend and were not disappointed! We needed a place to recharge, relax, and the house and area were a perfect fit! It was very peaceful and quiet, and Emily's instructions and kind note made us feel welcomed and at home. The beach was at the back door and a short walk to restaurants and stores. We took a day trip into Howth for hiking and dining and were not disappointed. If were are ever in the area again we would not hesitate to stay at Emily's. Michele Blanchard

This was not a typical rental for us as we selected the place to be close to family that we visit each summer, without having to burden them as hosts in their own homes. We know the area well enough to know that there are not many rentals at the quality of this and very few in Howth at all! It truly was “home away from home” and could not have been nicer! The modern renovation done on the main floor is spectacular all the while keeping the charm of what is a very charming traditional Dublin house. The open plan in the kitchen and back garden was heavenly and the easy walk to a private beach is a huge bonus. We caught the bus and DART into town easily (a 5 and 12 minute walk respectively) and the grocery store —5 min away by car- has everything you could possibly need. Another fun bonus was the vegetable garden! I just wish I was coming back when the tomatoes were in season. Rest assured this place is as perfect as it shows online and we hope to come back someday.

The location is exactly as described. Close to the sea, train station, grocery store, and pubs. Easy to get to Dublin on the train.

Absolutely incredible stay, the pictures don’t do the place enough justice it is stunning and so much bigger than we were expecting! The host was very responsive and very helpful, the lock boxes made life so easy for check in and out and meant we didn’t need to worry about keys when we left. The space had all the amenities we needed, a stunning location so close to restaurants and local bars if you wanted a more chill holiday but also very easy to get the train or a taxi into the centre of Dublin. Cannot recommend enough

We enjoyed staying at Kyran's place. The view and surroundings are beautiful. There is a nice walking trail around the peninsula right nearby. Gorgeous location. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Kyran!
