The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone on Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a landmark and the area is known as a sailing landmark along the coast. To the southwest you can see the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can travel there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

In wintertime you have to calculate skis/snowshoes for access, about 500m road that is not cleared. Great for walking and skiing, but not prepared trails. This cabin is located in the small village of Hellevik located in Fjaler Kommune. There are approximately 150 people living in the area. With the beautiful and mesmerizing western Norway nature with the fjord and the ocean only a few steps away, there is something about this place that will make you want to return again, and again. There are numerous hiking trails nearby and other amazing sightseeing oppurtunites such as the old Coastal Fort or the old Viking cross only 15 minutes away by car.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. You have the main cabin with two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Guest cottage with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. In addition, a large outdoor living room in old style of 25m2. Grocery store, fuel and center in Dale about 25 minutes away, convenience store 5 minutes from the cabin. There are also great hiking opportunities in the area The motorboat can be used free of charge, fuel is filled by yourself if it is empty.

A beautiful cabin on a small island on the west coast of Norway. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The cabin is situated right by the ocean where you can go swiming or fishing. There are also many mountains if you want to go hiking. The pats starts right behind the cabin. The cabin has toys and everything a family with kids and babies need. Be aware that the cabin has two floors with a stair between. Two of the bedrooms are situated on the second floor.

Denne nylig moderniserte hytten ligger I Hellevika i Fjaler, kun 50 meter fra fjorden. Den originale delen er en Ål-hytte fra 1970-tallet, imens påbygget med soverom og 2 bad nylig ble ferdigstilt. Tomten er solrik med flott utsikt mot Dalsfjorden og havgapet. På bildene i annonsen kan du blant annet se det populære turmålet Alden, også kalt "Den Norske Hest". På sommerstid fins det mange flotte badeplasser i nærheten, blant annet på bryggen rett nedenfor hytta.

The old schoolhouse

Welcome to the old schoolhouse at Vassenden in Sørbøvåg, the place of peace and quiet. The old schoolhouse was used as a school for the surrounding villages, from 1910-1959. In recent times, the house has received a significant upgrade and we spend a lot of time here ourselves. The house is beautifully situated, right next to a lake and in the middle of beautiful mountains.
