The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full job and have four small children.

The annex has 3 beds. 30 meters to swimming in the sea from Svaberg, 3-4 min walk to Joker grocery store and a small sandy beach. You can paddle to the store with the kayak or row in the rubber boat. The area is known for having a bustling boating life in the summer. There are many marked hiking trails in the surrounding area.

Modernized cabin next to the fjord

This recently modernized cabin is located in Hellevika in Fjaler, just 50 meters from the fjord. The original part is an Ål cabin from the 1970s, while the extension with a bedroom and bathroom was recently completed. The plot is sunny with a great view of the Dalsfjord and the sea gap. In the photos in the listing, you can see among other things the popular hiking destination Alden, also called "Den Norske Horse". In summer, there are many great swimming areas nearby, including on the pier just below the cabin.
