The cabin is located at 702 meters above sea level, with cross-country/touring trails about 50 meters from the cabin wall, and about 5 minutes walk from alpine facilities and café. Mountain tours, bike rides, walks or cross-country tours can literally start at the cabin wall.

You are welcome to stay privately at our home. We give you a simpler alternative. Here there is plenty of room for 2 people. Possibility for 4, but then you will have to sleep in the living room. Here you can enjoy yourself close to nature. Hiking trails, alpine slopes, ski slopes, bathing water, fishing water and several mountains nearby. If you have children with you, a playground, one of Norway's largest pumptracks, bike paths, football field or a trip to the Bear Park (12km) may be of interest. In winter, a small skating rink is set up on the football field at Istjern.
