We had some wonderful days at the cabin. Fantastic place. We enjoyed fishing, grilling, swimming in the pond and the lake, and testing a brand new sauna. Short distance to Kalvåg and Knutholmen. Very nice hosts who made it possible for us to have the best possible stay. Would highly recommend! This is truly a hidden gem. We would gladly came again.

Exceptional place! Alone at the end of the world above the fjord... one of the best views of our stay. A cute cabin built by our host. Very well equipped and very beautifully decorated. Special mention to the toilet in a small independent cabin with stunning views of the fjord:) The hosts are welcoming, kind and available! Best place to stay on our trip!

We loved our time at the cabin had a lovely relaxing time and the hottub was a highlight! We had no problems and the house was very well equipped especially for anyone staying longer. We loved the waffle machine too.

Cute, cozy cabin right on a gorgeous lake with a million dollar view. I know it's cliché but, the pictures absolutely do not do justice to what the view is actually like. Just perfect! The cabin is far enough from town to feel remote but close enough to town to take care of any grocery or dining needs.

We had a fantastic stay at Oddvar’s beautiful cabin; it had everything we needed and we really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. The views from the hot tub and garden are incredible and very peaceful/private. The cabin was clean, tidy and felt very homely. We would certainly come back and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the local area, or explore further afield from such a lovely base home. Oddvar is a great host, good communication, responsive and friendly. 10/10 🙌🏻 Thank you!

What a fantastic beautiful, full equipped and lovely decorated house. Amazing view and super private. Very good beds, great shower and perfect kitchen. For the ones that love peace and nature. Lovely super responsive and pro-active hosts. Highly recommended! We will sure be back some day for even a longer stay than just 5 days. The island is beautiful and peaceful, the nearest supermarket is some km away but has everything you need.

Very cozy and well-equipped apartment. An absolute dream. 😍 The area where the house is located and the house itself is actually so much more impressive than in the photos. Beautiful. 🤩 Perfectly clean - such a clean space is rarely seen. Everything you need for a short or longer stay is there. Very private and peaceful setting. Friendly landlord who provided great information in advance. 😊 Absolutely recommended.

Great stay and beautiful place.

The small, remote hut was perfect for switching off and relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful - lots of nature and a fantastic lake nearby. I felt very comfortable and highly recommend the place.

Staying right on a fjord was amazing. The views from the house were spectacular. Ferries available to any island in area. I wish I had stayed for a month!

Mountains on three sides and a fjord on the other. If you're looking for solitude at the end of the world, this is it. A piece of advice, it's a single lane road in with blind corners and hills, so be ready to stop on a dime for on coming traffic. Also, the local market will have essentially anything you'd need, but they have eccentric hours so I'd recommend bringing along a day's worth of food to be safe.

Johnny was a great host, you felt like nothing was too much trouble. The cosy cabin overlooked a stunning lake and Mountain View. Toasty warm and super shower.

We felt right at home in the blue vacation home. Everything was as described. The furnishings are modern and cozy. Everything was very clean. The view from the living room window and from the wooden terrace over the fjord was spectacular. Various seating options invite you to stay outdoors. The area offers a lot to discover. Loved my stay at this accommodation, beautiful surroundings and was so relaxing. House felt like such a home and we were provided so many great recommendations for what to do during our stay. The host was very helpful and friendly, and she would always reply within minutes to any queries we had.

Cozy cabin. Felt right at home. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Plus 15 min by car from a great hike called Lihesten.

We stayed 8 days in Tore and Ann Turids Boathouse with our dog Smilla and our 13 months old daughter. Ann Turid was very kind and always quick in answering our questions. The house is well equipped and it is a magnificent scenery from the house. The weather was a little bit rough sometimes thats why we could not use a boat. Ann Turid was so kind to organize a nice boat trip with a very experienced and nice local fisher called Rune. Rune visited us after the boat trip on the boardwalk to give us tipps for fishing. We loved the area and the peacefulness of this lovely spot. We took a walk up to Kronknappen mountain on a good day. We love to come again.

Such a neat cabin in an absolutely stunning location!

The location and the accommodation were great! We were 2 people so we stayed in the annex, which is different than the main bigger accommodation. The view was fantastic and the space was great! Well equipped kitchen and quite spacious!

We had a wonderful stay at Jarand’s cabin! The location is incredible and the cabin had stunning views. We enjoyed going for a hike in the area and going for a cool down in the stream. The cabin had everything we needed, including things to make coffee and easy meals. We were a bit worried about finding it, but Jarand gave helpful directions. If you follow Google maps to the coordinates, you’ll find where you should park easily and then have a short but steep hike up a clearly marked path. It was wonderful to disconnect for a few days and we have already recommended Jarand’s place to a few friends!

As the pictures in the advertisement show, it is an absolute highlight in terms of landscape. The surroundings are also unique and definitely worth a visit. The communication was very straightforward. All questions were answered promptly. The cottage was just great. Small, but functional and modern and very cozy.
