Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Michelle Marie’s cosy abode is located in the centre of the quaint hamlet of Oyne, Aberdeenshire in the North East of Scotland. Right in the centre of Aberdeenshire so ideal for adventurers! This charming wee granite cottage is snuggled into the idyllic countryside in the shadow of the local landmark, Bennachie, a large hill range which dominates the landscape.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese, an excellent Morrisons Daily shop and a Zero Waste shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.

Forglen Estate-Forglen Lodge

The Lodge can sleep up to 6 people. It has a lovely Scottish heritage feel inside and lots of architectural character on the outside. The mantel for the open fire inside was made from elm wood grown on the estate and there is some history to be discovered about the external features . Almost like living in your own mini castle during your stay! There are amazing walks and wildlife on the estate too!
