Cabin holiday rentals in Fort Augustus

This was our third stay at The Cabin, it is always such a lovely, relaxing place to stay. Claire was really helpful, and offered us some great advice on places to visit. We will definitely be returning

The cabin couldn’t have been more relaxing! Exactly what we needed after a long travel to start our trip. We were able to relax and unwind with the outdoor bath and fire pit and the chilled champagne and breakfast basket were perfect on arrival! Thanks to Mandy for giving us the best recommendation on a local golf course, Murrayshall was gorgeous and challenging! Thanks for this little gem Alice we hope to be back!

Absolutely phenomenal find in the middle of nowhere. Stunning house, very clean, cute wee tea and coffee left for our first morning. The hot tub was warm, clean and in a fantastic location. What a great weekend we had. Thank you Nina 🩷

We absolutely loved our stay!! It had everything we needed and more. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything we had planned. Great restaurants, grocery shops, cafes, etc. close by. We also very much enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after busy day touring around. Kristy was a very responsive and friendly host. Would definitely recommend staying here

We had such a lovely weekend staying at the Highland Hilly Huts in Drumnadrochit. The hut itself was beautiful – really cosy and well thought out, with lots of sweet little touches that made it feel so welcoming. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful – friendly, accommodating, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. You can tell a lot of care has gone into every detail. The absolute highlight for us was the homemade bread – Such a thoughtful and unexpected treat that made our stay even more memorable. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing break.

This cabin was idealic. Stunning location, so peaceful and the cabin itself was perfect. Spotlessly clean, every utensil you could need. Comfortable beds and pillows ( I would like to know where the pillows were purchased) fresh clean bedding. The hot tub was incredible. The bbq was a lovely bonus which we used of an evening. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thank you Jane the stay was faultless 💗

What a lovely cottage on a great location. Despite the fact that the cottage is on the landlord's property, sufficient privacy has been created by the fence. Supermarket is about 10 minutes away by car (inverness) The cottage is tastefully decorated and has a large kitchen in which everything is available. We will never forget seeing the sun rise above Loch Ness, as well as the moments in the jacuzzi while we were enjoying the phenomenal view. The host was really helpful. Within 1 minute of our message that the toilet paper was out, she was ready with new rolls. Totally awesome!

Ali’s place was beautiful. A little haven. It had such a great outdoor area and she had thought of everything. She was really helpful and was available for advice, organic leafs and extra coffee! The place is right near the loch which was gorgeous and the outdoor bath and sauna meant we could really unwind!

We had a wonderful week at Lorna’s lodge. The weather was favourable, and it was the ideal escape from city life, letting us truly relax and feel at home. Our dogs had a blast on the walks and loved swimming in the Spey. The lodge’s peaceful location was just what we needed,Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay in the cabin. It is a timeless, magical and peaceful place. Very nice human encounter with Elizabeth and David.

Toms place was amazing, perfect for what we needed, beautiful property and peaceful. Tom was a great host if anything was needed tom was there to answer. Would absolutely recommend Toms place, if we where in the area again I would not hesitate to book again. We had a lovely 3 night stay at the cabin with our dog. It’s very well located, just over an hour from Glasgow but quiet and secluded. The cabin is comfortable and has everything one would need for a few days in the highlands. The wood burner is a lovely touch and keeps the place warm and cosy. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was also spotless and well maintained. Cornelius was a very responsive and accommodating host!

The place was lovely and so convenient- we had everything we could want! Would highly recommend.

What an amazing location. Right on the Loch just like the photos. An easy walk (100m) down to a stone beach where you can swim. We had a drink on the balcony each evening enjoying the view and the serenity. Even had a visit from the pine marten. There were two other lodges close by, but they are all private and well separated. The location is a little remote, but that was a big plus for us. We found the quality of produce in the region exceptional so decided to cook during our stay and maximize the time we had to enjoy the location. The kitchen has all you need to cook for yourself. There are places to eat in the area if you want to eat out. The lodge was very clean and well laid out. Dermot is super responsive and leaves detailed instructions for everything. We would happily return.

Jack is a fantastic host, very informative and responsive! The property is a really great size, spotlessly clean and exactly as described. I had a superb night here, and wish my stay was longer.

Very clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings. Hosts left eggs and milk for us which was a lovely touch and very welcomed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just wished we had booked a few more nights. We will be back again and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

The log cabin has been the best and most beautiful accommodation we have booked through this platform. The cleanliness was just perfect and the two hosts were warm and helpful people. There was really everything we needed. Despite the small size, the kitchen was perfectly equipped and there was enough space for a family with 2 children. Will and Brian put a lot of effort and love into each of their cabins. They have a high standard of perfection and were always there for us when we needed something. We have taken a special liking to Will! A chat with him is highly recommended. We would like to come back and hope that the two of them can continue to care for and enjoy this special place for a long time to come. We would also like to award 6 stars, if only we could. Thank you both for this great time! Recommendation on site: a walk to the beach, with or without throwing stones!
