This home is locally referred to as "The Lodge." It is loaded with rustic charm and tons of trophy mounts, including a full-size gator rug. This house is spacious and yet cozy all at the same time. This home is located in the Ocala national Forest and yet only a half a block away from the park, which includes basketball, volleyball, tennis, softball, shuffleboard, and corn Holes. The caregivers live close by and are very friendly and helpful when needed. NO pets allowed on property.

Home has been updated with central air and heat, new water filtration system and softener, new furnishings, tile flooring, kitchen, and bathroom. Minutes from natural springs (Salt Springs Recreation Park) where you can swim. Activities in the area include canoeing, fishing, boating, hiking/walking trails, swimming, and much more. It's a great place to relax and get away. There's a fire pit and dock to enjoy as well.

Thank you so much to Kathy for a wonderful stay at Point Pleasant!!! Our family gathering was perfect. We had 5 adults and 3 children in our group and were very comfortable. We loved being out in the middle of Ocala National Forest surrounded by a symphony of nature! We loved fishing, kayaking, playing volleyball, and eating smores. The kids had so much fun catching little frogs, watching the pigs, and playing constantly. We would love to come back some day and try out the boat! Thank you again, Kathy!

We had a wonderful stay here! The place is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights for us was spending time with the animals – they have horses and ponies, and we even got to feed them carrots! It was such a sweet and memorable experience. The whole property feels like a hidden gem, and we truly felt at home. My fiancée and I are already talking about coming back soon. Highly recommend!

Great place. Very quiet and peaceful area overlooking the marsh. Plenty of wildlife. Parking was great for hauling atv. Ida was very helpful telling things about the area. Everything necessary for a comfortable stay was provided. Great host.

This place was amazing! The house was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We were a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids) and it fit us comfortably. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for any cooking needs. They had games and activities for you to do while relaxing at the cabin. There was a swing outside that the kids really enjoyed as well. There was also an info booklet with information on the area and cool things to check out that you wouldn't necessarily find on a Google search. The info booklet also contained several local menus for places to eat. The Rodman Dam is close by and was really a cool place to hang out and do some fishing. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this one. Only downfall was having to come back home. We will definitely be back soon but for a longer stay.

Our family had a great stay at Lisa’s cabin! The cabin was peaceful, clean and had everything we needed plus more for our stay. We were able to enjoy fishing off the dock, s'mores by the fire and our favorite part.. canoeing around the lake. Thank you Lisa for a great little getaway. We will definitely be back again soon!!

What a wonderfully peaceful get away. We looking for a relaxing long weekend where we could easily access the Ocala National Forest trails with our ATVs, and that's exactly what we got. The cabin was spacious and very clean. The outdoor seating area was perfect for fires and smores! Thank you guys for your hospitality, we look forward to another visit.
