This is easily the nicest place we have stayed. The house and location are incredible, but the hospitality, communication, and professionalism were all above and beyond those of many other places we have stayed. We will certainly keep this one at the top of our list and look forward to returning when we can.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. It was equipped with everything we needed and it is close to the Alpine Resort (2 minute drive; not walkable with young kids in full ski euipment). We were a group of 10 (5 kids, 5 adults) and were all comfotable. The older kids loved the bunk room and ping pong table (the younger child slept on a cot in the master bedroom). The only complaint, if you can even call it that, is that the showers have misting shower heads and have little pressure. Also loved that the club house/hot tub was located directly across the backyard and easily accessible by path a house down. Would gladly stay here again.

Gorgeous log cabin. Our family of 4 and a dog had plenty of room for a comfortable stay. We'll come back during the ski season to enjoy the ski in ski out (meters away from the lifts).

Better than expected. Gorgeous accommodations with new finishes located on the hill. We’ve already booked our trip back next year.

Next best location to ski-in, ski- out. Quick walk to the Village. House is beautiful, comfortable and clean. Would definitely book again.

It was spacious for the 8 adults and 3 children in our group. We were very comfortable.

Stayed here for my bachelorette and had an absolute blast. The house was gorgeous, very clean, and accommodated 9 people easily. One thing I would note is the sound detection system they have in place. We’re not a particularly loud bunch, and are often in bed quite early! However we did receive an automated warning at 8pm regarding our volume while playing games before leaving for the night. This impacted our enjoyment that night, as we were clearly not disrupting the neighbours. Overall, we had an excellent time and would recommend this property!

Excellent booking in Fernie. Place was perfect for the group of four we had in town for a fly fishing trip. The house is right next to the river and an easy walk into town for restaurants and groceries. The place was super clean with a great kitchen, common area, and nice patio. Will definitely book again. 100% satisfied!

Had a great stay with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Located in the Annexe (which was great for us as visiting family nearby) but only a short walk to grocery stores and downtown area. Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay with Chris was wonderful! He was responsive right from the time of booking, even offering to add in a crockpot when we inquired if it had one. He sent us messages with answers to questions before we even had the time to ask! Instructions were so clear. The space was beautiful and so comfortable. Beds, pillows, couches and rugs were so comfy to sprawl out after a long day on the hill. He was super quick to resolve any issues- we had one small one (with a microwave that couldn’t be helped) and they had it solved within an hour! Has been our favourite stay in Fernie yet! We were worried the walk/ride to the hill would be long but it wasn’t bad at all!

Everything was great. Puma was the best part. Only negative was that when I had a question about an early check in I was asked to ask it via a different portal, which I did, but did not get a response too.

A stay at the straw bale house is a magical experience that should not be missed. Great location, peaceful and quiet, with beautiful scenery in every direction. The house is cozy, warm, and inviting. The host does a beautiful job highlighting local artists and artisans, with artwork and crafts on every wall. I would highly recommend a stay at the straw bale house!

Perfect location at the beginning of Fernie. Walkable to adorable shops and restaurants. Perfect size for our family of four to enjoy while visiting for a family wedding!

Our group had a wonderful stay. The cabin was really comfortable and we loved how toddler friendly the set up was! We were surprised the place was even better than we expected, the photos don't do it justice.

Ryland is a very responsive and communicative host. At the beginning of our stay we ran into a few issues (out of Rylands control) but Ryland’s team attended the property and ensured our concerns were fixed right away. The house is in a good location close to walking trails and restaurants. There is lots of room in the house which would be a great stay for a big family or two families!

This is a fantastic place in every respect. Beautiful property, private, incredibly well equipped, extremely comfortable, and the list goes on. It is clear that a great deal of thought and care has gone into creating this wonderful place. I am grateful that such a place exists, and that it's available to rent. The host Sue is exceptionally hospitable, helpful, and responsive. I wish we could have stayed longer.

House was exactly what we expected. Ryland was easy to work with and things went smoothly!
