Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Fort Washington

We stayed here for a couple nights with our two kids and dog and it worked well. Plenty of space for us. They do mention that the ceiling is very low and there are quite a few steps which are both very true but it is manageable. There is free parking right on their street which was a huge draw but construction limited the spaces when we were there, but Brian & Jess were helpful and we found free parking on the next street with no issue. We used public transportation to get around and it was very convenient and easy, two different bus stops super close by and easy to get to the metro. Lastly, it was so hot and very humid when we were there, the apartment is in the basement and it was musty and damp in the morning. Brian & Jess were helpful when we brought up, and were told the mini split unit has a dehumidifier setting and it seemed to help some. Brian & Jess were responsive and nice, and we’d recommend staying here when visiting DC!

Great place for a family! With small kids a hotel is a no go for us so this was the perfect spot to make sure our kids were able to get a good nights sleep before a long drive!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Michael’s home in Washington, DC. The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortably accommodated all five of us. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

We spent 4 days site-seeing in DC and Lily's location was perfect, being just off the Richmond Hwy it was easy to get to by car. We paid an additional fee for parking under the building which was well worth it given the convenience. The Crystal City Metro station, with both the Yellow and Blue lines, was a very short walk away and could even be accessed via an underground walkway system just outside the building. Also just a block or two outside the building was a movie theatre and several bars/restaurants. Having breakfast on the 14th floor balcony was a great start each morning before heading to Metro to start the day's adventures. We would definitely stay here again.

Nathan has a lovely home—it feels like stepping back in time into one of old Washington’s charming houses. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with Nathan was excellent. The location is convenient, about a 25-minute walk to Capitol Hill. While the surrounding area could be better—the streets were a bit dirty—it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our overall experience. We had a wonderful time in Washington, and staying at this house was definitely part of it. Thank you, Nathan!

**close to a metro**, a nice place to stay with our family (great kitchen, beds, bathrooms, plenty of space, balcony), pool & outdoor space were beautiful- very comfortable & clean

The apartment was very clean, well stocked kitchen, very nice washer & dryer. Easy check-in and checkout. Many amazing restaurants in the area and all walkable. Very nice park two blocks away that we took our grandson to play in. Owners were extremely helpful and quick response time. Highly recommend this place and will be a repeat customer.

This was one of the most well equipped houses I have ever stayed in. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to each contact. I highly recommend this place!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. If we are to return, we would most likely look at this house as a first option. The house is very spacious and for there to be 10 of us, we never felt piled on top of each other. the host communicated very well, from the time we booked the reservation up until it was time to check out and we really appreciate that! One main thing I would ask the host to consider is putting FULL BODY mirrors in some rooms (ie. living room/den and master bedroom) it was kind of hard trying to get dressed and make sure I looked well put together without having a full mirror to look into. Also, with all the backyard space, an in ground pool would have been nice but the above ground pool did its job. Overall the stay was about an 8/10

Great value for your money. You won’t regret this choice

My stay at Temi’s was nice and I miss it already! I felt safe even at night. A bus stop is a 6 minute walk away and the metro station is about a mile away. Temi is very responsive and the friendliest host I’ve had. For it to be basement unit there were not a lot of bugs, which was a concern for me, just a few spiders. Temi will communicate with you and the other guest to coordinate them coming down to wash their clothes. The cleaning she uses is amazing and does a great job at cleaning the space.

The house was much nicer and more spacious than expected. The pictures do not do it justice and we are very appreciative that they provided a nice comfortable stay for such a momentous occasion.

I have been a customer of Airbnb for years this by far exceeded all of my expectations. From the time that I arrived, my hostess was amazing flexible and so helpful even offered to give me a ride into DC because my train was delayed, and I arrived in Fort Washington later than expected . So hospitable, kind, generous and caring. I will definitely be back.

The house was a wonderful place for our family since we had young kids! The place was clean, comfortable, and totally equipped with high chair, toys and a gate which made our stay so much easier. Elisa was responsive and made everything easy. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with little ones

Nestled in the Aurora Hills neighborhood of Arlington, you'll find a gem of a listing, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Pentagon and Crystal City but close enough to be there in mere minutes. Beyond that, this locale is close enough to the District that you can be at the Smithsonian and assorted museums in no time, and can easily access the Pier/Naval Yard with a simple transfer. As for the amenities of this location, it has everything you'd need for a short to moderate stay. The shower was incredibly hot, which I preferred. So, if you are looking for a place a bit out of the mix but close enough to be in it at a moment's notice, then please look no further than this great listing.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Nebiyu’s house. It was more than enough room for our group and very convenient location to National Harbor and Old Town Alexandria. The house was spacious and clean!

This was our second time staying at Kris’ place and it was just as lovely as the first time. The space is wonderful for what we need it for and has anything you could possibly need plus you don’t have to go far for groceries or to get to national harbor for events. Kris was very responsive and would go above and beyond to make sure we were able to feel comfortable and have what we needed! We will definitely be back again!
