We spent a weekend in this beautiful house in early spring. The house is amazing and has everything you need. The view is amazing and the pond invites you to fish or watch birds. It‘s calm and relaxing. Would love to come back here soon and spend more time. Kelly and Claire have been amazing hosts and a nice contact.

This was our 3rd stay at the Cozy Cottage while attending lacrosse tournaments at UMASS Amherst. The location is perfect while offering a much more peaceful and enjoyable setting than any hotel in Amherst. Thank you for another great stay!

Beautiful location, comfortable rustic home with everything you need to cook and grill. Lots of stuff to do on the lake. Very serene. Charlene is super friendly and helpful. It was a really nice touch she provided a bottle of wine, juice, eggs, bagels and butter upon check in.

Cottage abuts the DAR State Forest, which has 15 miles of hiking (for all levels), birdwatching, and XC skiing. 25 min drive to Northampton, known as an academic, artistic, musical, and countercultural hub and home to Smith College. 30 min drive to Berkshire East Ski Resort and Stumps XC Skiing Center, others about 50 mins away.

We felt very comfortable with Sophia and her family. We immediately felt welcome and almost part of the family. Everything was clean and our room was comfortable and very quiet. For breakfast we were provided with eggs, bread and muesli and can enjoy this on the veranda with a paradisiacal view of the garden with chickens and humming birds. We can absolutely recommend this stay!
