Waterfront holiday rentals in Franklin County

It worked for my son and me even though about 30 minutes from 5 colleges. I enjoyed driving the pretty roads. The place was clean. The hosts were so nice and responsive and accommodating. They kept the stocked with everything we could need.

We had such an excellent stay! The apartment is even better than the photos showed--the view of the lake is beautiful. There are several great hikes in the area. The hosts were responsive and communicative. They even offered the loan of their paddle boat. All in all, I highly recommend staying there.

Great location for what we needed. The sound of the river running outside was peaceful. Plenty of beds. House was clean. Would recommend.

Falcon's Nest was a fabulous place to stay in the area - everything there was clean and spotless, a truly homey feeling right from the start. The house itself is stylishly done - starting from architectural elements and through small details around the house. The grounds outside are breathtaking - there's an awesome hot tub, grill, fire pits, and a lake - beautiful nature all around. Location is very convenient to all landmark sights in the area and a variety of hiking trails. Johny and Kate were incredibly accommodating - quickly responding to all our questions and providing valuable recommendations. Overall, this was a great experience that exceeded our expectations!

We had another wonderful weekend at Barbara & Chad's suite. We've stayed there multiple times and love it for our family of four. The hosts are always responsive and so very helpful. We also love the nearby Berkshire East Mountain resort and nearby local towns. Looking forward to our next visit!

Our stay was wonderful!! There is not a tv in the studio which we LOVED! Everything was clean and bright and airy. Very peaceful. We stayed for a short trip for a wedding in town and it was an 8 min drive to downtown area which had so much to do! Would definitely stay again if we visit the area.

shelburne Falls is an adorable town, and this Airbnb has a small table with 3 chairs on a back porch that looks out on the river and bridge— very nice . Cute apartment over the the owner’s store and perfect location to walk around town . crystal was a great host…. proactive before our arrival responsive

So grateful for our Peaceful escape into nature with detailed attention to pampering pleasures. This country charmer provided something for everyone throughout our gals getaway! The wooden hot tub, the crackling fire, the rushing river and all the beauty of the natural surroundings complimented by the most perfect clay tennis court for our tennis enthusiasts! Just 30 minutes from the hip artistic academic streets of downtown Northampton to the historic beauty of the potholes and bridge of flowers of Shelburne Falls To The Gorgeous Gorge of Chesterfield and the Tasty treats of The Old Cummington Co-Op all local musts! Comfy beds, cozy kitchen, and little nooks to tuck away in surround you. Mikaela was the perfect host with clear communication and forethought to all our needs. I wish we could have stayed nestled in the woods curled up by the fire for weeks!

This was a relaxing and peaceful stay. Just what we needed and waking up to the lake each morning was wonderful. Did not get to enjoy all the amenities due to the weather but everything else was perfect for our needs.

Beautiful home and scenic surroundings. Picturesque view or the water from every part or the cottage. Open kitchen, living and dining area with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Deck was great for family dining and dock allowed for easy fishing and swimming. Without ac you will want extra fans if the weather is expected to be hot/ humid.

Fantastic, peaceful location, the sound of steam behind the house was lovely, I’ll remember sitting it on the back porch reading after biking, sipping tea and listening To the birds as one of my favorite things. Gregory was a generous, friendly host, thank you!

A fantastic getaway on the quiet and peaceful Lake Tully, complete with all the amenities you could need. We took the canoe and kayaks out and had a great time catching bass. The spacious backyard gave the kids plenty of room to run and play, and the hot tub was a great bonus. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed for an extended ski weekend and Kims place was perfect for our family with three kids. Beautiful home with everything you need for a private relaxing time and horses on-site for the kids. Will definitley be back for our next Berkshire ski trip!

From the moment we arrived, Gregory made us feel incredibly at home. The property in the woods, river included, was truly a unique and breathtaking sight which was both tranquil and reenergizing. He was always quick to respond and we had the most unforgettable stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for our group. The kids loved the games and toys, and the fireplace made for a great place to relax after skiing. The location, just 15 minutes from Berkshire East, was ideal. That said, winter travelers should be prepared for challenging road conditions. It snowed heavily during our stay, and while private plowing services arrived, it was usually around 11 a.m. If it snows overnight, expect to shovel the large driveway to get the cars out early in the morning. The roads are steep and not always well-plowed, so a four-wheel-drive vehicle, winter tires, or chains are highly recommended. On our last morning, a tree fell out front, blocking the road and knocking out power. These things happen, and it wasn’t the host’s fault, but the remote location means services may be limited. Despite that, we had a wonderful time!
