Bruce was great! The house is around the corner from the upper lodge at Titus Mountain. Great location if your family likes to ski! Also an easy day trip to Canada.

Great house for a family ski trip up to Titus. Very quiet, perfect for our little musical family, fully stocked kitchen, very thoughtful extras, great local suggestions, super responsive and friendly host, amazing location, I could go on and on. It truly felt like a cozy home away from home. Will definitely stay here again next winter!

Great lil cabins right on the hill, this was my 3rd trip! Just don't forget to grab your necessities in Malone as there's nothing around the hill.

Bruce was an excellent host! He gave great recommendations and clear instructions. The driving directions were so good we were able to find the place in the dark lol. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable, had everything we needed. The view in the morning was quite nice. The beds were warm and comfortable and the whole place was clean with more than enough towels and blankets. The only thing I'd note is that it's not entirely a true ski in/out experience. We were expecting to be able to ski right from the cabin door onto the hill (as per other ski in/out places we've rented) but if you did that, you'd end up skiing into a building (don't do that, haha) We had to carry our skis past a row of cabins and sheds to get to the hill where we were able to get on. I'd describe it as more of a slope-side cabin than ski in/out. It's not a big deal, still very convenient, just a bit different than described. Overall, I'd give it a 10/10, would recommend!

Ted was the perfect host, being present, available, and responsive - I felt sure that IF we needed anything he would have been there to help out. The cabin is perfect for a little get-away. The ping pong table in the basement was an added bonus for a little family tournament. The location is peaceful - we didn't walk the grounds, but hope to be back to do so another time - and close to the town/shops/ski hill/etc. So much to do in the area! Thanks Ted!

This is an absolute gem among the woods and water. Peaceful is an understatement and serene doesn't quite do it justice. It's a place to step back, slow down and unplug from all your cares, worries and realities. You'll get the basic necessities and the time to unwind and relax. This is a well placed, well thought of and we'll out of the way home away from home. But in it's tranquility you'll not be far from the everyday needs of everyday life as town is a quick drive over the mountain. I highly recommend the Cochran cabins for a peaceful escape from your everyday life.

The host is wonderful and warm. The cabin does offer true feel of Adirondack vintage cabin that has added a kitchen and bathroom. I would go back again.

Michael’s place was perfect for our group of 8. The common space was comfortable and well-furnished. The cold temps did not allow us to enjoy the porch but in the warm weather it must be sublime! We made full use of the well-appointed kitchen. The little butler’s pantry was a great place to store non-perishable items so the kitchen counters remained clear. Each room had either an en suite bathroom or one right next door. Everyone loved the water pressure. We felt like we were away from it all but very accessible to town. Everyone in our group enjoyed their stay.

This is the quintessential ADK cabin that you are looking for. Perfect heavily wooded location away from it all, but still close to town of Saranac Lake. Very cozy with the gas lamps, screened in porch, wood fireplace and amenities. Perfect for a small family or a group of friends in multiple cabins. Best part of Adirondacks with incredible hiking and boating - paddled on the two lakes the inlet connect to and both are stunning. Can't wait to return to this classic ADK cabin.

We loved our stay. My family frequently Lake Placid a few times a year, and we've always ever stayed downtown. This time, We had trouble securing an accommodation because of a hockey tournament. I'm so glad we did because we found the Cobble Mountain Lodge! for a couple of nights with my family it was a great deal. The private cabin with the bunk beds was definitely tight for the four of us, but we made it work and for the price, I wasn't complaining. They did a really great job with amenities and such a small space, including microwave, toaster, fridge, hot plate, utensils and dinnerware. The only bummer was having to wash dishes in the bathroom sink so I would bring paper plates. 👌 We were less than 15 minutes away from White Face which is the primary reason for our trip and so there was not a lot of time spent hanging out in our room. If you plan on having some downtime, just book the bigger room. We will definitely return!

The staff at Cobble Mountain Lodge was truly amazing. Our dog escaped the cabin 2 separate times while we were out to eat and the staff was SO helpful and accommodating when they didn’t have to be. They brought him back to our cabin each time and ensured he was safely locked in all the while keeping us updated while we were out. They were extremely friendly and very responsive any time we messaged with questions throughout our trip. Besides that the cabin was a perfect size, clean, and had everything we needed. They also provided a pack n play for our toddler which is one less thing to pack in the car for us. The drive to downtown LP is only minutes away. I would 100% recommend Cobble Mountain Lodge and would definitely come back, this time just leave our dog at home who now we know can open locked doors from the inside lol. Thank you for everything!!!

great location. Cozy cabins. Everything is good. If the mattresses have more supports, we can sleep even better.

Perfect spot to enjoy everything the area had to offer. Walking distance to restaurants & beautiful mountain and lake views. Hosts had great recommendations for local spots!

Wonderful weekend getaway and location for a race at Whiteface Mountain. Great location and beautiful views from the property. The cabin was clean and had great space and amenities. The host was responsive and flexible. A very short drive away from all that Lake Placid has to offer. Would recommend!

Owner and workers were nice and responsive. Snow made some situations difficult but they were very helpful in making things work. Cabin was spacious and good for a large group.
