Please note that from 09/04/2023 to 06/30/2024 a new building with 18 apartments and 4 single-family houses will be built on the neighboring property. The apartment is located directly on the bike path from Lake Constance and approx. a 15-minute walk from the historic town of Stein am Rhein, where you can indulge in culinary delights – or simply relax on the Rhine with an ice cream.

Farmhouse room with lovely charm

In our restored farmhouse we rent a cozy, wheelchair-accessible attic apartment with elevator, spread over 2 floors. The upper bedroom can be reached via a wooden staircase (not wheelchair accessible). My accommodation is in the middle of the village in the countryside, but very close to the nearest cities of Frauenfeld and Winterthur. The bus stop is 100m from the Airbnb. It's ideal for couples, adventurers traveling alone, business trips and families (with children).

Der See befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, sein natürliches Ufer ist in 2 min zu Fuss erreichbar und lädt zum Baden ein. Das romantische mittelalterliche Städtchen Stein am Rhein erreichst du zu Fuss über einen idyllischen Weg entlang dem See. In den Wintermonaten sorgt eine Fussbodenheizung für behagliche Wärme und Atmosphäre.

We are a family who runs the farm ourselves and look forward to welcoming guests in our specially furnished guest room. A dog and cats as well as a few chickens currently live on our farm. We are also constantly thinking about acquiring more animals. There are numerous dirt roads for hikes. The Thur and the Rhine are within reach and beautiful bike tours can be made. We are happy to help with planning activities.
