Trumpets called Clarions were found in post-Roman Europe. A Clarion has clear tones, a dictionary calls it "brilliantly clear". We understand a Clarion Call to be a clear, urgency in the spirit to move and to act with haste. The Clarion was an loud, shrill instrument similar to a signaled time to go into battle. A clarion call is such a call, but coming from the core of one's spirit to move out of complacency, procrastination, doubt, fear, and limitations to MOVE and CONQUER for the kingdom!

The Tobacco Barn
A high-peaked ceiling and exposed-log crossbeams reveal the Tobacco Barn’s past life as a place for hanging tobacco leaves to dry. Now converted to a one-room guest house, it features a front porch swing, cozy fireplace, soapstone floors, a homey sitting area, and a tall, high-post bed. The pressed-tin ceiling and whiskey-barrel sink in the bathroom add to its charm. Pets are allowed and are charged a fee of $25 (first night) and $15 (per ea. add'l night). Maximum two-person occupancy.

Our warmly decorated guest suite is attached to but fully separate from the main part of our home, with its own private entrance. The suite includes a spacious bedroom, large bathroom and separate living/sleeping area with a TV, mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, and Keurig. An adjacent laundry room is available for your use upon request (FOC). The small deck, patio and fully fenced yard are included for your exclusive use. Parking is available on the street right out front of our home.
