Please check the◎ facility details before making a reservation◎ About Kikori House In September 2023, a lumber company, Ogura, in the mountains of Minamiaizu-machi, Fukushima Prefecture, turned a house they created with a thorough commitment to wood into a rental house. Ogura is the descendant of a woodworker who lived with wood. Questioning modern housing that relies on 24-hour air conditioning for comfort, we created a space that feels like a wooden sunbeam, where you can feel the natural wind and sunlight while inside the house. While taking advantage of traditional Japanese carpentry techniques, you can stay comfortably without any inconvenience by incorporating modern facilities. On a dark night when you can see many stars, the sound of birds and the wind, and powdery snow that is so smooth that you can't make snowballs. Feel the magnificent nature of Minamiaizu with all five senses. There are few restaurants nearby that are open late, but the open kitchen is stocked with special cooking utensils, dishes, and basic condiments, so we recommend cooking for yourself.

This is an entire home in a nature home. It is a 3,000 tsubo site with rivers and ponds. We have an additional wood stove sauna so you can have a private sauna in nature. You can also have a barbecue on the premises or a bonfire. It is a place where shouting loudly and does not disturb the neighbor, so it is also available for group, family, company training, etc. It is a place where you can wake up to the sound of birds in the morning, and if you are quiet, you can hear the babbling of the river.
