Amazing location right by the lake. Lovely cabin and the hot tub was cracking. Having a little boat to row out onto the lake was a nice little touch. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous stay at the lodge. It was as described, super clean and beaitifully decorated. The hot tub was the highlight, as well as being able to watch the cows and sheep go about their day in the field behind. The lodge is in a wonderful location to explore different towns along the south of Scotland. The nearby farm shop is one to try for some yummy delights. All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing stay made all the better by the lodge. We would love to stay again and hope we get the chance to again! Highly recommend.

Loved every second of this stay. We arrived to prosecco chilling in the fridge, cakes and ready to use hot tub. The scenery was spectacular with very cute animals near by. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway.

It was a really good stay for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was very helpful. I’d never used air bnb before. And arranged this last minute.

We had a beautiful holiday here and Rosie and Jim were more than accomodating. The lodge was stunning, comfortable and the views/animals are truly stunning. Rosie is an amazing host who greets you with as much information as you wish when you arive then leaves you alone to your own devices unless you need to contact her. Which is perfect if you are looking to keep private as the lodge itself feels very private. Finally the surrounding areas are just a short drive away and I highly recommended Coulter Fell if you are up for a hike! Thank you Rosie for being an incredible host and for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lodge. It made this week truly magical for me and my family.

The perfect getaway shepherds hut, really cosy and lovely interior in a beautiful surrounding with lot’s of cute sheep :)

Perfect location for the surrounding area, including Forest of Mabie and Ae. We were a family of four, children 10 and 8. Short distance to Dumfries town centre which has selection of bars and food places. The cabin was rustic and unique, we found it very cosy and provided us with everything we needed. Kevin and Shirin were very friendly and responsive, they provided us with local history and information on things to do around us. The children enjoyed exploring in the woods behind the cabin and playing on grass area at the front of cabin. We definitely recommend staying here and would return.

This is a lovely cabin in a beautiful location - we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very well equipped kitchen with lots of cooking basics provided too. Cabin is lovely and clean, with very comfortable beds. looking forward to staying again in the future.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A group of 6 of us had an INCREDIBLE time! It's a beautiful modern cabin, spacious & clean with plenty of storage. Enough room for 3 cars to park at the cabin with no problems! Dog friendly (but no paws on the furniture!) Luna (my cocker spaniel) enjoyed some of the doggy biscuits left in a jar in the kitchen! The view of the lake is stunning, quiet and peaceful surroundings with plenty to do nearby. Julie is a fabulous host, responsive and friendly! I would highly recommend this beautiful gem 💎 Cannot wait to come back!

We were looking for a peaceful place to stay on the last night of our 2 week family road trip and Lucy’s place looked perfect for this. The cabin as described is located in the yard on a working farm alongside two other cabins. The cabin has a fantastic private balcony that isn’t overlooked that you can peer at the stream and into the field of cows and hills beyond. There are some great walking routes on the doorstep which we enjoyed on the evening of our arrival. There are also some nice places to eat in Moffat a short drive away but be aware that like many small towns they offer shorter opening hours reduced service or shut on a Monday, so make sure to stop by the shops in town for supplies. The cabin is well provisioned and cosy particularly with the log fire. We awoke to the gentle sounds of the stream running right by the bedroom window. Our 4 year old son was mesmerised seeing farm machinery working in the yard out of his bedroom window. Thanks Lucy!

had a lovely weekend break away at judys cabin situated in a lovely peaceful park not to far from neighbouring town moffat a lovely place to visit with a local pubs and great food judys cabin is very spacious lovely comfy beds very clean and tidy there was a welcome package of luxurious biscuits,milk,tea,coffee very nice when you've had a bit of a drive would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends 10/10

We had such a fantastic time at the lodge. The sunset was beautiful, the hot tub was lovely and spacious and the lodge itself was much bigger than we expected. There were lots of comfy spaces to relax and enjoy the nice weather. We will definitely be coming back!

A few relaxing days in a beautiful peaceful spot. Balm to the soul - looking at the view, listening to the bird song, and watching nature. Everything was as described. Highly recommended 😊

The caravan was beautiful, a home from home, we loved it. Hosts were very quick to respond to any requests. We went along to the bar on the Saturday, lovely welcoming staff too. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic cottage / log cabin. Incredible vistas across Wigtonshire and Irish Sea beyond. Ideal location for Kircudbright and Wigton as well as 7 stanes cycling locations- for us. Lovely and cosy inside.

A lovely place in such a beautiful location - right next to a deer park and a short walk from the beach. The kitchen had anything you could need for cooking/baking and Mark and Becky were kind enough to provide us with bread, milks and snacks along with a hand-written note. I can’t think of anything bad to say about the place and would definitely recommend to friends and family

Had a fantastic time In this property, I’ve been staying during a university placement and I felt right at home straight away, hosts are lovely people who stay near by and are happy to answer any queries. Always proactive and responsive even if I miss the odd message during night shift 😅 Would happily come stay again as I loved my time here and now my partner and I are considering buying a static in the future
