This place is absolutely stunning with breath taking views and surrounding and has all the required amenities and the property is very beautiful and located very close to MG Marg. The host took care of us very well and their complimentary breakfast is something which we love so much, it’s absolute delight. If you are planning to visit Gangtok this place should be your natural choice, felt as if we were at home. This place is recommended for couples and families and this place ticks all the right boxes to be one of the best AIRBNB we ever stayed. We look forward to visit again to explore north Sikkim. It's tucked away in the beautiful and untouched Himalayan village of Lopchu. Keshav and his family were incredibly warm — their hospitality was truly something else. I stayed here with my older parents, and we were made to feel completely at home, like part of the family. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but with Keshav around to guide you, it’s totally manageable. I’d love to come back and stay longer next time. P.S. You can take a peaceful walk around the tea garden nearby. They also served us lovely homely food for dinner at a very reasonable price.

Diki and her family were amazing hosts. They made us fit in just like home. We shared food and good times all throughout our stay with them. The room was excellent with scenic views and spacious area. Diki also prepared meals and invited us to share. It was overall a very comfortable and delightful stay. It was a Memorable stay at kessang’s homestay…extremely peaceful & pristine environment, surrounded with forest, organic farms…home cooked meals made from local ingredients…he is a great chef, I enjoyed every meal he prepared…perfect place if you are also travelling with your pets….lots to do around, places to visit….overall had a wonderful stay here….will visit again…

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The property features a beautiful garden—perfect for relaxing and enjoying some peaceful downtime. Prashant ji was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He guided us with our local travel plans and shared excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s home—a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Highly recommended!

Easily among the most pleasant and memorable stays we have had during our family road trips! Beautiful surroundings, great view of Kanchenjunga (sunset even better than sunrise), caring and responsive support staff. Sonam and family are kind, responsive and gracious hosts - we were especially lucky to spend an evening with them around the delicious barbecue they were having. Mrs. and Mr. Kazi Sherpa are delightful storytellers - we'll always cherish our time with them. Whole heartedly recommend Sherpa Villa for a peaceful, beautiful stay in Gangtok!

Leon's place was perfect for our 4 day stay in Kalimpong..we stayed in the Maina suite and the house was absolutely incredible and super functional. We loved how they took care of each small detail like decor, furnishing, comfort and an amazing balcony space overlooking the valley. Both Leon and Prasan were very helpful for anything you need. must stay.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful 2BHK flat in Gangtok. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had a very homely vibe. Both bedrooms were comfortable, the living area was cozy, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The view from the balcony was stunning — waking up to the sight of the mountains was an unforgettable experience. The location was ideal too — peaceful and quiet, yet just a short ride away from MG Marg and other key spots. Our host was fantastic — very warm, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. Overall, it was one of the best stays we’ve had on Airbnb. Whether you're visiting Gangtok for the first time or returning, I’d highly recommend this flat for a comfortable and memorable stay. It was one of my best stays. Calm and cozy place. The host leon is a great friend and a gem of a person. His passion for everything including the hospitality is just home away from home. The places and squeaky clean lashed with all amenities required for a comfortable stay. The staff too are really polite and helpful and available at your service. The location is placed on the town and has an authentic bhutanese restaurant. Must try I would recommend people visiting should definitely consider this place for a hassle free stay and an unforgettable hospitality.

A truly exceptional stay. The property was well-equipped, impeccably clean, and offered a breathtaking 10/10 view — we could even see Kanchenjunga from both the living room and bedroom. We enjoyed cooking meals, listening to music, and relaxing with wine. A special thanks to Prasan, the caretaker, who was incredibly helpful and kind. The house was very clean and the view from the Balcony was stunning. All the basic utensils Needed to cook was provided. Another point which is worth mentioning is the bathroom was clean. The staff were very helpful and responsive. I will definitely will like to stay again if I visit Kalimpong again. Thank you Leon, Prasan and all the staff.

I recently stayed at Newa house and had a wonderful experience. Dhana Di was incredibly welcoming and ensured I felt right at home before we arrived at her place. The location of the homestay was perfect for me. It was in a quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I loved the attention to detail, from the fresh flowers on the spacious balcony - where we friends could have an excellent time together to cleanliness in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, ensuring we had a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cooperation and help from the host. We are grateful to the host for serving us hot, delicious, tasty food. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

This place was new in listing but we either ways went ahead and booked it. We wanted a place with basic amenities to stay away from new year crowd. Starting from the time we booked this place till the time we left, Mr. and Mrs. Gyamtso were always there to help. A perfect host indeed. Though we did not meet them personally but they were very responsive over chats and calls. Their care taker Sanjeev Bhaiya was always a call away if we needed anything. The view from the balcony makes it all worth it. The taxi stand is just below the apartment and you can get a shared cab to MG road in 30 rupees only and it’s a 15 mins drive. It’s a Very clean and organised place. The property is on 5th floor but easy to climb with slow pace. If you have luggage, Sanjeev bhaiya will help you get that to and fro across the floor. A must stay when in Gangtok.

Had a wonderful stay here! Check-in was seamless, and the place was super easy to locate. It's in a very accessible spot, just a short walk from MG Road — one of the main attractions in Gangtok with a vibrant local market. The views from the windows and balcony were absolutely stunning. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed — a working geyser, TV, clean kitchen with water filters and utensils — all in great condition and the home was really spacious. There was paid parking available as well, which was a plus. Overall, it’s a great stay for anyone looking to explore MG Road and nearby areas. Highly recommend!

The Description does justice to the actual place, however expected the place to be a bit more spacious it was a snug fit for 7 people. pros Clean place responsive host good location as food is easily accessible cons the neighbours were a bit noisy WiFi has relatively low speed (4mbps) the property is located in a small street so big cars plan accordingly overall good value for money and a very good host would recommend and stay again

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.
